La gramaticalització de “sisplau”

Les autores de l'estudi "mostren que 'sisplau' ha experimentat un procés de gramaticalització des d'una estructura condicional cortesa fins a un marcador discursiu amb usos cortesos i no cortesos. Aquest procés ha implicat canvis formals i funcionals que són típics dels processos de gramaticalització.

Atenuación pragmática : el caso de las condicionales

Este trabajo estudia las estructuras condicionales cuya finalidad es atenuar la fuerza del contenido proposicional de determinados actos de habla.  Su uso se debe a la percepción del hablante, quien sigue las normas de cortesía, establecidas por Lakoff (1973) y Brown y Levinson (1978, 1987), con el objetivo de mitigar la imposición de sus enunciados.  El análisis de las grabaciones de una agencia de viajes en Valencia (España) indica que el significado atenuante de las condicionales o cuasi-condicionales se puede inferir solo en el contexto de las afirmaciones impositivas, explicaciones, preguntas, peticiones indirectas, sugerencias y ofertas

W referacie zaprezentowano dwie krajowe inicjatywy na rzecz Elektronicznej Gospodarki, która aby stala się codziennością dla całej gospodarki, musi być wdrażana wg globalnych standardów. Tymi inicjatywami, jakie przygotowywano od lat, ale w sensie za angażowania się w nie wielu firm w praktyce, są prace krajowej Grupy Roboczej ds. EDI oraz polski katalog elektroniczny.Electronic Commerce to become popular has to be implemented with respect to global standards. In the paper two Polish national initiatives in that matter are presented. Pragmatic competence from a contrastive perspective: the case of 'lo siento' and other expressions of apology in Spanish

Este trabajo sigue la línea del estudio preliminar realizado por Chodorowska-Pilch (2019) sobre la sobregeneralización de la expresión lo siento en el uso de los alumnos angloparlantes debido a la transferencia de sorry del inglés. El objetivo principal del presente estudio es considerar la influencia de la competencia lingüística a la hora de elegir entre diferentes expresiones de disculpa en español.  Como base de datos y punto de referencia, se utilizan las disculpas producidas por los hablantes nativos en la serie española “Vivir sin permiso”.  Con el fin de comprobar si los alumnos de ELE eligen las disculpas que corresponden o se aproximan al uso de los hablantes nativos, se elaboró una encuesta con los fragmentos enunciados por los protagonistas de la serie.  El objetivo concluyente consiste en demostrar que la competencia en la pragmática sociocultural afecta el uso de las expresiones de disculpa en los alumnos de ELE y proporcionar posibles recomendaciones para los profesores interesados en mejorar la actuación de los alumnos angloparlantes a la hora de producir disculpas.This paper follows the line of research of the preliminary study conducted by Chodorowska-Pilch (2019) on the overgeneralization of the expression lo siento in the apologies of English-speaking students due to the transference of sorry from English. The principal objective of the present study is to consider the influence of linguistic competence when it comes to choosing between different apology expressions in Spanish. The apologies produced by native speakers in the Spanish series “Vivir sin permission” (‘Unauthorized Living’) are used as a database and point of reference.  In order to test whether students learning Spanish select apologies that correspond to or are close to native speakers’ use, a survey was developed with fragments uttered by the protagonists of the series. The final objective is to demonstrate that competence in sociocultural pragmatics affects the use of apology expressions by students learning Spanish and to provide possible recommendations for teachers interested in improving the performance of English-speaking students in the production of apologies

Lipid Disturbances in Psoriasis: An Update

Psoriasis is a common disease with the population prevalence ranging from 2% to 3%. Its prevalence in the population is affected by genetic, environmental, viral, infectious, immunological, biochemical, endocrinological, and psychological factors, as well as alcohol and drug abuse. In the recent years, psoriasis has been recognised as a systemic disease associated with numerous multiorgan abnormalities and complications. Dyslipidemia is one of comorbidities in psoriatic patients. Lipid metabolism studies in psoriasis have been started at the beginning of the 20th century and are concentrated on skin surface lipids, stratum corneum lipids and epidermal phospholipids, serum lipids, dermal low-density lipoproteins in the psoriatic skin, lipid metabolism, oxidative stress and correlations between inflammatory parameters, lipid parameters and clinical symptoms of the disease. On the basis of the literature data, psoriasis can be described as an immunometabolic disease

Un-equal women in the system of education against the equality transformation in today’s Poland

No artigo são abordadas as questões regulamentares relativas aos direitos das mulheres na Polónia depois de 1989, em particular, no que diz respeito ao sistema de ensino e formação. O ponto de partida é a identificação das leis que se aplicam para a eliminação da discriminação na educação e na eliminação em todos os níveis de ensino de conceitos estereotipados relativos à posição das mulheres e dos homens. Ao mesmo tempo, baseando-se na análise de dados estatísticos, e numa pesquisa da literatura do assunto assim como nas fontes normativas de educação e da política de anti-discriminação, as autoras mostram tanto o sistema de ensino na Polónia quanto a posição das mulheres neste sistema. Os estudos realizados indicam que, apesar da feminização da profissão docente, a estrutura de emprego constitui uma pirâmide onde as mulheres continuam a ocupar a posição mais baixa. Um dos fatores que contribuem para esta situação é o conteúdo de livros didáticos. Como mostra a análise, a maioria deles são incompatíveis com as disposições do direito internacional, que impõe medidas para eliminar os papéis sociais estereotipados. Rzadka lokalizacja torbieli skrzelopochodnej u dziecka : opis przypadku

Background: Branchial cleft cysts are the most common neck masses in children. USG and MRI allow precise diagnosis and preoperative assessment of these changes. Case report: A 20-month-old girl was admitted to the hospital with a palpable mass in the submandibular region. In the USG and MRI examinations, a cystic mass was found. The cyst was removed. Histopathological examination revealed the presence of an endodermal cleft cyst. Conclusions: The main cause of neck tumors in children are congenital changes. The most common are branchial cleft cysts and thyreoglossal cysts. Branchial cleft cysts arise during the first six weeks of fetal life when the branchial arches are developing. Among them the most common are second branchial cleft cysts, which occur in the neck, anterior to the sternocleidomastoid
