Optimization of Drying Process for Squid-Laver Snack by a Combined Method of Fuzzy Synthetic and Response Surface Methodology
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of drying temperature (50–70°C) and drying time (3–5 h) on the physical properties and quality of squid-laver snack (SLS) using response surface methodology combined with a synthetic evaluation method to optimize the drying process conditions. Moisture content, water activity, color (L⁎, a⁎, b⁎), shear force, and overall acceptability were evaluated as responses. Increased drying times and higher temperatures significantly reduced the moisture content and water activity of SLS from 9.07% to 4.76% and 0.136 to 0.056, respectively (p<0.05). There was no significant difference in the L⁎ and a⁎ values under different drying conditions. The quadratic effect of temperature and time was observed for the b⁎ value and overall acceptability of SLS. For shear force, a quadratic and interaction term for drying temperature and time on shear force was observed. In conclusion, the recommended optimal hot air-drying conditions for SLS are temperature and time of 70°C and 3 h, respectively
Improving Multi-turn Emotional Support Dialogue Generation with Lookahead Strategy Planning
Providing Emotional Support (ES) to soothe people in emotional distress is an
essential capability in social interactions. Most existing researches on
building ES conversation systems only considered single-turn interactions with
users, which was over-simplified. In comparison, multi-turn ES conversation
systems can provide ES more effectively, but face several new technical
challenges, including: (1) how to adopt appropriate support strategies to
achieve the long-term dialogue goal of comforting the user's emotion; (2) how
to dynamically model the user's state. In this paper, we propose a novel system
MultiESC to address these issues. For strategy planning, drawing inspiration
from the A* search algorithm, we propose lookahead heuristics to estimate the
future user feedback after using particular strategies, which helps to select
strategies that can lead to the best long-term effects. For user state
modeling, MultiESC focuses on capturing users' subtle emotional expressions and
understanding their emotion causes. Extensive experiments show that MultiESC
significantly outperforms competitive baselines in both dialogue generation and

Crop Rotation Enhances Agricultural Sustainability: From an Empirical Evaluation of Eco-Economic Benefits in Rice Production
Cropping systems greatly impact the productivity and resilience of agricultural ecosystems. However, we often lack an understanding of the quantitative interactions among social, economic and ecological components in each of the systems, especially with regard to crop rotation. Current production systems cannot guarantee both high profits in the short term and social and ecological benefits in the long term. This study combined statistic and economic models to evaluate the comprehensive effects of cropping systems on rice production using data collected from experimental fields between 2017 and 2018. The results showed that increasing agricultural diversity through rotations, particularly potato-rice rotation (PR), significantly increased the social, economic and ecological benefits of rice production. Yields, profits, profit margins, weighted dimensionless values of soil chemical and physical (SCP) and heavy metal (SHM) traits, benefits and externalities generated by PR and other rotations were generally higher than successive rice cropping. This suggests that agricultural diversity through rotations, particularly PR rotation, is worth implementing due to its overall benefits generated in rice production. However, due to various nutrient residues from preceding crops, fertilizer application should be rationalized to improve the resource and investment efficiency. Furthermore, we internalized the externalities (hidden ecological and social benefits/costs) generated by each of the rotation systems and proposed ways of incenting farmers to adopt crop rotation approaches for sustainable rice production
To What Extent Iron-Pnictide New Superconductors Have Been Clarified: A Progress Report
In this review, the authors present a summary of experimental reports on
newly discovered iron-based superconductors as they were known at the end of
2008. At the same time, this paper is intended to be useful for experimenters
to know the current status of these superconductors. The authors introduce
experimental results that reveal basic physical properties in the normal and
superconducting states. The similarities and differences between iron-pnictide

Voltammetric aptasensors for protein disease biomarkers detection: a review
"Available online 24 May 2016"An electrochemical aptasensor is a compact analytical device where the bioreceptor (aptamer) is coupled to a transducer surface to convert a biological interaction into a measurable signal (current) that can be easily processed, recorded and displayed. Since the discovery of the Systematic Evolution of Ligands by Enrichment (SELEX) methodology, the
selection of aptamers and their application as bioreceptors has become a promising tool in the design of electrochemical aptasensors. Aptamers present several advantages that highlight their usefulness as bioreceptors such as chemical stability, cost effectiveness and ease of modification towards detection and immobilization at different transducer surfaces. In this review, a special emphasis is given to the potential use of electrochemical aptasensors for the detection of protein disease biomarkers using voltammetry techniques. Methods for the immobilization of aptamers onto electrode surfaces are discussed, as well as different

Nuclear magnetic relaxation and superfluid density in Fe-pnictide superconductors: An anisotropic \pm s-wave scenario
We discuss the nuclear magnetic relaxation rate and the superfluid density
with the use of the effective five-band model by Kuroki et al. [Phys. Rev.
Lett. 101, 087004 (2008)] in Fe-based superconductors. We show that a
fully-gapped anisotropic \pm s-wave superconductivity consistently explains
experimental observations. In our phenomenological model, the gaps are assumed
to be anisotropic on the electron-like \beta Fermi surfaces around the M point,
where the maximum of the anisotropic gap is about four times larger than the
