Grantee Perception Report: Marguerite Casey Foundation

    No full text
In keeping with our brand promise to "Ask, Listen, Act," we recently commissioned the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) to conduct a Grantee Perception Report survey of our grantees to assess our impact and interactions, and compare the results with other foundations. This report helps us be a more effective ally to grantees, as we work together to support a family-led movement for social and economic justice. Our grantees tell us we're having a positive impact on their organizations and helping them sustain their work, which we largely attribute to our grantmaking model of multiyear, unrestricted support. We're also having a significant impact on the field and public policy. In these areas Marguerite Casey Foundation is among the most highly regarded by its grantees of any foundation whose grantees CEP has surveyed. Based on feedback, we identified two key areas to improve: consistency of communications and assistance beyond grant dollars
