La cerámica Ibérica del siglo V a C. en la Edetania

Aquest treball està centrat en l’estudi de les produccions ceràmiques del segle V aC. aparegudes en assentaments del territori edetà. Tots els jaciments presentats, amb una única excepció, tenen excavacions regulars que han tret a la llum una estratificació que permet distingir entre les ceràmiques més antigues, de finals del s. VI i primera meitat del V aC., i les primeres produccions d’època Ibèrica Plena. Algunes formes i decoracions tenen paral·lels clars en àrees limítrofes, com ara el Baix Palància.This paper focuses the 5th century BC pottery from Edetan sites. With only one exception, all the sites studied here are regularly excavated. Their stratigraphy show differences between older potteries, dated at the end of the 6th century and the first half of the 5th B.C., and the potteries dated on the second half of 5th century B.C. It is possible that some of these shapes and decoration may occur in bordering areas, such as the lower Palància low valley.Este trabajo está centrado en el estudio de las producciones cerámicas del siglo V a.C. encontradas en asentamientos del territorio edetano. Todos los yacimientos presentados, excepto uno, tienen campañas regulares de excavación que han documentado una estratificación de los materiales que permite diferenciar entre las cerámicas más antiguas - finales del siglo VI y primera mitad del V a.C.- y las primeras producciones de época Ibérica Plena. Punk Joensuun pääkirjastossa

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli selvittää punk-musiikin osuus Joensuun pääkirjaston musiikkiosastolla: Sen määrä suhteutettuna rock-musiikkiin, lainausluvut ja punkin hankintamäärät. Kyse on siis kokoelmatyöstä, kokoelman kehittämisestä, arvioinnista ja hallinnasta. Lisäksi kerrotaan punkista hieman taustatietoja. Esitellään pari ulkomaalaista ja suomalaista punkyhtyettä. Määritellään myös muutaman punk-musiikin ala-genre. Alagenrejä on paljon ja kategotisointeja niin ikään. Tehtiin tutkimuksia eli otettiin lainaustilastoista otoksia. Otoksia otettiin niin CD-,LP- kuin DVD-levyistäkin. Näistä saatiin tuloksena lainausmäärät, keskihajonta ja keskiarvo sekä maksimi- ja minimilainausmäärät. Lisäksi tutkittiin mm. lainausten homo- ja heterogeenisyyttä. Nämä selvisivät tutkimalla lainausten keskihajontaa. Edellä mainituista tunnusluvuista selvisi, että lainausmäärissä ja kokoelmien käytössä on todellakin eroja. Punk on selvästi marginaalisempi rock-musiikkiin verrattuna. Loppujen lopuksi tarkoituksena on kehittää kirjastojen musiikkiosastoja välittämään myös punkista. Työhön kuului myös henkilökunnan haastattelu. Punk pitäisi hankkia punkkina eikä vain siinä sivussa sattumalta. Työhön kuului lisäksi kaikkien rock-luokassa olleiden punk-levytysten keskittäminen omaan hyllyryhmäänsä ja niitten merkitseminen punk-genreen kuuluviksi punaisella tarralla. Näin ne löytyvät eikä punk-musiikista kiinnostuneiden tarvitse käydä läpi koko rock-kokoelmaa.The purpose of this thesis is to define the amount of punk music at the music de-partment of the Joensuu Main Library, its quantity compared to rock music, bor-rowing statistics and acquisitions. Furthermore, some background knowledge of punk, as well as a few foreign and Finnish punk orchestras are presented. Some subgenres in the punk scene are presented, as well. The number of subgenres and of their classifications is quite large. Samples were taken of the borrowing statistics. The samples consisted of both CD and vinyl records as well as DVD recordings. The numbers of loans, standard deviation and average of loans, as well as their maximum and the minimum numbers of loans were registered. Furthermore, among others, the homogeneity of quotations and the heterogeneity were studied. These became clear by studying the standard deviation of quotations. Differences in numbers of loans appeared to be significant. Punk is distinctly more marginal compared to rock music. The final goal was the improvement of the treatment of punk at music departments. The work also included an interview of the staff. Punk should be treated as sub-genre of its own. The work also included separating the punk recordings from the rock music recordings and rearranging them in their own shelves. This way, punk is easy to find, and the patron looking for it does not need to go through the whole collection

El Museo de Prehistoria de Valencia

El Museo de Prehistoria de Valencia preserva parte del legado material de los antiguos pueblos que ocuparon el territorio valenciano. La recuperación de este importante patrimonio ha sido posible gracias a las excavaciones llevadas a cabo desde 1928. La exposición permanente presenta colecciones del Paleolítico, Neolítico, Edad del Bronce, cultura ibérica y época romana. Incluye además una sala dedicada a la historia del dinero. El Servicio de Investigación Prehistórica es el responsable de la investigación, la conservación y la difusión científica, de las publicaciones, la biblioteca, el Gabinete de Fauna Cuaternaria y el Laboratorio de Restauración. Además, coordina con la Unidad de Difusión, Didáctica y Exposiciones las actividades didácticas y de difusión del patrimonio. El Museo se abre también a la sociedad y el territorio a través de su página web y las redes sociales, y de la Ruta dels Ibers València y las jornadas de puertas abiertas en yacimientos

De lo real a lo imaginario : aproximación a la flora ibérica durante la Edad del Hierro

"De lo real a lo imaginario" es el título de un proyecto cuyo objetivo es hacer un estudio de la flora de los iberos desde distintos puntos de vista con el fin de aproximarnos al uso y simbolismo de las plantas por parte de las sociedades antiguas. Para ello se va a combinar una visión estrictamente paleobotánica, basada en estudios palinológicos, antracológicos y paleocarpológicos, con la iconográfica, recogiendo todas las representaciones de plantas que aparecen en cerámica, escultura en piedra, objetos metálicos y monedas. Todos los datos se catalogan teniendo en cuenta su contexto y cronología. Con ello se pretende elaborar un catálogo de plantas conocidas y utilizadas, en diferentes contextos, con todos los usos posibles (lo real) y las imágenes de plantas recogidas en diversos soportes (lo imaginario). Como ejemplo, se presenta el estudio realizado sobre dos plantas: la adormidera (Papaver sp.) y la palmera (Phoenix datylifera L.)."From the real to the imagery" is the translation of the project"s title we present in this paper. Our main goal is the study of the Iberian Iron Age fl ora from several points of view in order to come close to the use and the simbolism of plants among the ancient societies, specially the Iberian Culture. The method we use is a combination of a paleobotanical approach, based on palinology, anthracology and paleocarpology, together with an iconographic one. Then, we record all the representations of plants on pottery, stone sculpture, metallic objects and coins. All these data are catalogued taking in to account the context and chronology of the archaeological remains we are dealing with. The aim of this research project is to create a database of the used and known plants among the Iberians, to reconstruct the possible uses ("the real") and the images of plants represented on the artefacts ("the imagery"). This paper offers preliminary results of our method by presenting an analytical example based on two species: the poppy (Papaver sp.) and the palm tree (Phoenix datylifera L.)

�From the real to the imagery� (Hum2004/04939HIST) is a research project which examines Iberian Iron Age flora (VI-I centuries BC) from a number of perspectives in order to understand the use of plants and their symbolism in ancient Iberia. The primary aim of this study was the development of a database of plants that were recognised and used by the Iberians and to highlight their uses (�the realness�) and their representation on artefacts (�the imagery�). This data set is now available for public access online: http://www.uv.es/floraiberica or http://www.florayfaunaiberica. org. In this paper we present a practical example of how to use this database as a research tool. We focus here on the information relating to funeral offerings of vegetables (�food for the eternity�), but also the offerings of material culture that contain iconographic representations of fruits.
