COKE HEAT ELECTRIC CENTER IN THE COMPOSITION OF A GAS GENERATOR AND A BATTERY OF SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELLS
The method developed by us allows us to predict the specific consumption of equivalent fuel for the production of electric and thermal energy. A diagram of the installation of an electrochemical generator is presented. The mass flow rate of synthesis gas, the consumption of semi-coke, the efficiency of the electric power generation of the power plant, the specific consumption of equivalent fuel, the power of the network preheater, the specific consumption of equivalent fuel by the release of thermal energy are calculated.Разработанная нами методика позволяет прогнозировать удельный расход условного топлива на производство электрической и тепловой энергии. Представлена схема установки электрохимического генератора. Рассчитаны массовый расход синтез-газа, расход полукокса, КПД по выработке электрической энергии энергетической установки, удельный расход условного топлива, мощность сетевого подогревателя, удельный расход условного топлива по отпуску тепловой энергии

Desertification In Mongolia: Untangling Problems, Effects, And Policy Solutions
In recent years, much attention has been given to Mongolian capital city, Ulaanbaatar in
regard to its concerning issue with environmental pollution, particularly air pollution during
winter months. People have been desperately finding a solution to Ulaanbaatar’s air pollution
due to numerous negative consequences to the health of people living in Ulaanbaatar. The
majority of the actions taken by the Government of Mongolia and other international
organization have focused on structural methods to reducing the fossil fuel emission coming
from houses in Ulaanbaatar’s low-income areas called the ‘ger district’. Regardless of the efforts
and money spent, the air quality worsened each year. Therefore, this thesis will examine a
different approach to finding a solution to this problem. The thesis identified desertification as
the main underlying cause of air pollution. Due to desertification, a rural-urban migration
increased rapidly over the past few decades, increasing the number of residents living in the ger
district, who burn fossil fuels, which is the main source of air pollution. Instead of trying to find
a mechanical solution, the thesis aimed at directing the attention to the main cause of air
pollution; and furthermore, offered policies that could alleviate the current crisis situation in
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Northeast Asia is one of the most conflict prone regions in the world, which desperately lacks a successful conflict resolution mechanism. As there would be a high possibility of military conflict at any given moments, an immediate talk between the conflicting parties is necessary. While a great number of scholarly articles have been written about the conflict resolution possibilities in the region, there are not many independent studies on this issue with a focus on Mongolia neither in Mongolian nor in English. Evolvers of Catan
For our Comps project, we created an evolutionary AI that plays Catan. Recently, AI methodologies have been increasingly tested against a wide variety of challenges. While not the most common of those methodologies, genetic programming is one which we thought might have interesting potential. In this project, we tested the application of genetic programming to the eurogame Settlers of Catan using the existing JSettlers implementation. We extended the built-in AIs logic to use genetic programming to better inform its decisions. Our results showed that while there are limits to genetic programming\u27s power, it can create reasonably competent players which are competitive with or somewhat better than the preexisting heuristic bots of the JSettlers program
