Potential of Pineapple Madu Shell (Ananas Comosus (L.) Merr.) as Anti-Browning Agent in Apples Manalagi (Malus Sylvestris Mill)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of water extract of pineapple shell in the process of browning apple manalagi (Malus sylvestris Mill). The research was conducted from October to November 2016 in the Laboratory of Plant Physiology Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Lampung. As variables were browning index, total soluble carbohydrate content, dehydrogenase enzyme activity, and reducing sugar levels, while the parameter is the mean of all variables. The experiment was conducted in completely randomizes design. The main factor was the water extract of the pineapple shell with 5 concentration levels: 0% v / v, 25% v / v, 50% v / v, 75% v / v, 100% v / v. Levene test, analysis of variance and LSD test was carried out at 5% significance level. The results showed that the water extract pineapple shell was significantly lower the browning index of apples manalagi, and the relationship between the concentration and browning index is quadratic (y = 9E-05x2 - 0.013x + 1.018 R² = 0665). Extract of pineapple shell did not significantly affect total soluble carbohydrate content of apples manalagi but a downward trend in total soluble carbohydrate content with increasing concentrations of the extract (y = -0.049x + 29.66 R² = 0.923). The relationship between the concentration of water extract pineapple shell with dehydrogenase enzyme activity was negative linear (y = -0.082x + 12.04 R² = 0.969). Reducing sugar levels increase at the concentration of 50% v/v,75% v/v, and 100% v/v. The final conclusion was that the water extract of pineapple shell was potential as anti-browning agent for apples manalagi because it was able to reduce browning index 51.89%, and influence other physiological processes

Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Bawang Putih (Allium Sativum) dan Black Garlic terhadap Escherichia Coli Sensitif dan Multiresisten Antibiotik

- The purpose of this research was to determine the antibacterial activity of garlic extract and black garlic against E.coli sensitive and resistant to antibiotics. This research is an experiment with 2 factors : 1) the type of extract (garlic and garlic Black), 2) test bacterial strain (E. coli sensitive and resistant to antibiotics). Solvent extraction using 20% ethanol, 1: 1 and then centrifuged. Antibacterial activity test by well diffusion method. Parameter study is inhibition zone formed around the wells. The results showed that extracts of garlic has antibacterial activity against E.coli sensitive (14.22 mm) and antibiotic-resistant E.coli (22.2 mm), while the black garlic extract showed no antibacterial activity

Potensi Ekstrak Kering Belut (Monopterus albus) pada Pengobatan Tukak Lambung

Peningkatan konsumsi akohol, obat-obat anti-inflamasi nonsteroid (OAINS), dan diet yang keliru menjadi penyebab meningkatnya penyakit tukak lambung (ulkus peptikum) di seluruh dunia. Penggunaan obat sintetis jangka panjang sering menimbulkan efek yang tidak diinginkan. Belut diketahui memiliki kadar protein yang tinggi, mirip dengan ikan gabus. Penelitian tentang aktifitas ikan gabus dalam pengobatan luka bakar, luka dalam bekas operasi, serta tukak lambung telah banyak dilakukan. Diperkirakan aktifitas tersebut dipromotori oleh kandungan protein dan asam amino dari ikan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok dengan 5 kelompok perlakuan masing-masing 5 ekor tikus. Diperoleh hasil rata-rata titik pendarahan pada kontrol negatif 7,6: kontrol positif 2,6; dosis ekstrak kering belut 100 mg/kgBB sejumlah 4,2; dosis ekstrak kering belut 200 mg/kgBB sejumlah 1; dan dosis ekstrak kering belut 400 mg/kgBB sejumlah 1. Sedangkan rata-rata pH cairan lambung pada kontrol negatif 4,948: kontrol positif 5,182; dosis ekstrak kering belut 100 mg/kgBB 4,224; dosis ekstrak kering belut 200 mg/kgBB 2,888; dan dosis ekstrak kering belut 400 mg/kgBB 4,89. Secara statistik terdapat perbedaan titik pendarahan yang signifikan antara dosis kontrol positif, 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kgBB dengan kontrol negatif. Tidak ditemukan adanya korelasi antara pH dengan timbulnya titik pendarahan, sehingga pH tidak dapat dijadikan parameter terjadinya tukak lambung. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak kering belut memiliki aktifitas sebagai pengobatan tukak lambung dengan dosis terbaik pada 200 mg/kgBB

Habilidades gerenciales e identificación institucional en los conflictos laborales de la Dirección de Redes Integradas de Salud, Lima Este, 2020

La población estuvo conformada por 960 trabajadores administrativos de la Direccion de Redes Integradas de Salud, Lima Este, 2020, la muestra fue 160 trabajadores administrativos , en las cuales se han estudiado las variables: Habilidades gerenciales , identificación institucional y conflictos laborales, el método empleado en la investigación fue el hipotéticodeductivo, esta investigación utilizó para su propósito el tipo descriptivo, multivariable, transaccional, diseño no experimental, enfoque cuantitativo, que recogió la información en un período específico, que se desarrolló al aplicar los cuestionarios de Habilidades gerenciales de Ayre, Identificación Institucional de Ávila y Conflictos Laborales de Ames, todos con escala de Likert, que brindaron información acerca de la incidencia que existente entre las variables de estudio, en sus distintas dimensiones; cuyos resultados se presentan gráfica y textualmente. En cuanto al reporte del programa a partir de los datos, se tienen los siguientes resultados donde los datos obtenidos estarían explicando la dependencia de los conflictos laborales en función de las habilidades gerenciales y la identificación institucional. Así mismo se tiene al valor del Chi cuadrado es de 258,771 y p_valor (valor de la significación) es igual a 0.000 frente a la significación estadística α igual a 0.05 (p_valor < α), significa rechazo de la hipótesis nula, los datos de la variable no son independientes, implica la dependencia de dos variables sobre la otra; aceptándose la Hipótesis General planteada

Prospecção tecnológica da produção de biodiesel a partir de microalgas no Brasil

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade UnB Gama, Curso de Engenharia de Energia, 2017.A dependência energética de combustíveis derivados do petróleo e os problemas ambientais ocasionados pelo seu uso despertaram o interesse da sociedade por buscar combustíveis renováveis que possam suprir as demandas energéticas, mas que minimizem os impactos ao meio ambiente. Nesse contexto, microalgas são uma fonte promissora e alternativa para a obtenção de biodiesel. Contudo, ainda existem limitações para a produção em larga escala desse combustível derivado de biomassa microalgal. O principal objetivo do presente trabalho foi a realização de uma prospecção tecnológica da produção de biodiesel a partir de microalgas no Brasil para identificação das tendências tecnológicas nesse contexto. A prospecção tecnológica foi realizada a partir da análise de patentes nacionais depositadas no escritório de patentes INPI, com o auxílio do programa Questel Orbit para o desenvolvimento de um mapeamento tecnológico, a nível nacional e mundial. A análise preliminar permitiu identificar que os principais depositantes de patentes de microalgas são o Brasil e a França, e isso mostra o interesse desses países nessa tecnologia. O assunto mais abordado nas patentes trata sobre o cultivo das microalgas, uma vez que ainda hoje é um processo que inviabiliza a produção do biodiesel microalgal em larga escala.The energy dependence of petroleum-derived fuels and the environmental problems caused by their use have aroused society's interest in finding renewable fuels that can meet the energy demands, but that minimize the impacts on the environment. In this context, microalgae are a promising and alternative source for obtaining biodiesel. However, there are still limitations for the large-scale production of this fuel derived from microalgal biomass. The main goal of the present work was the realization of a technological forecasting of biodiesel production from microalgae in Brazil in order to identify the technological trends in this context. Technological forecasting was carried out based on the analysis of national patents deposited in the INPI patent office, with the help of the Questel Orbit program for the development of a technological mapping at national and world level. The preliminary analysis allowed to identify that the main depositors of microalgae patents are Brazil and France, and this shows the interest of these countries in this technology. The subject most discussed in the patents is about the cultivation of microalgae, since it is still a process that makes the production of microalgal biodiesel on a large scale unfeasible

Feminismo Socialista Bolivariano

Resumen En este artículo presentamos los avances de la investigación Feminismo Socialista Bolivariano (FSB), propuesta teórico-práctica en construcción conjunta al proceso sociopolítico de cambio profundo en que se encuentra inmersa la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, desde 1999. Nos proponemos como objetivos rastrear y aportar al proceso de teorización del mismo; para ello hemos pautado un proceso de investigación en 3 etapas. Las dos primeras son teóricas, de arqueo bibliográfico y se diferencian por la fuente bibliográfica. La primera busca, en los discursos de Chávez, lineamientos desde los cuales pensar al Feminismo Socialista Bolivariano. La segunda tiene como fuente los escritos de feministas socialistas y documentaciones que reportan las prácticas de los colectivos de mujeres socialistas de Venezuela. La tercera etapa, es de campo y tiene como fuente al pueblo chavista, al que nos acercaremos mediante un proceso de formación e investigación. Desde la información recabada en las tres etapas estamos infiriendo las proposiciones teórico-prácticas que refieren a: i) principios y proposiciones ético-políticas e ideológicos, ii) componentes teórico-técnicos del hacer institucional público y iii) aspectos subjetivos de las mujeres y los hombres “nuevos”. Todos ellos propios del Feminismo Socialista Bolivariano. Al momento podemos concluir que el FSB es la teoría nacional crítica, en construcción conjunto al proceso de cambios radicales en que está empeñada la Venezuela Revolucionaria del siglo XXI, para despatriarcalizar nuestro país.
