La relación individuo-sociedad : una aproximación desde la Sociología de Georg Simmel

En este artículo transitamos por diferentes pasajes de la obra de Georg Simmel para buscar en la originalidad de su pensamiento una de las marcas de origen de la teoría social moderna: la tensión entre individuo y sociedad. Simmel expresa de manera acabada que la pregunta por lo social, ¿Cómo es posible la sociedad?, es un interrogante que lleva a la reflexión sociológica a transitar por las ramificaciones filosóficas que se tejen siempre sobre la díada individuo-sociedad. Nuestro objetivo será defender la tesis que el intento simmeliano de fundar una ciencia de lo social no puede ser separado de sus interpretaciones sobre la configuración de la modernidad. Por lo tanto argumentamos que ambos niveles de reflexión tienen una conexión especifica que trataremos de develar a lo largo de nuestro articulo.This article identifies, among Georg Simmel's various writings, his conception of one of modern social theory's founding concepts: the tension between individual and society. Understanding the relation between individual and society through Georg Simmel´s sociology

Instrumentalization of rural development projects: experiences in the north east of Argentina during the 21st century

En este artículo nos proponemos reflexionar sobre la instrumentalización de proyectos para la promoción del desarrollo rural orientados a sujetos subalternos en tres provincias del Nordeste argentino a principios de siglo XXI. En trabajos de campo realizados en Misiones, Formosa y Chaco, hemos registrado diferentes iniciativas de promoción a través de formatos organizacionales asociativos (asociaciones de agentes de terreno y/o de productores, cooperativas, ferias) y de acceso a maquinarias, herramientas, insumos e infraestructura. A partir de esos registros, nos interrogamos sobre la forma en que dichos proyectos se han formulado e implementado entendiendo que representan pujas entre demandas de sujetos subalternos (en algunos casos expresadas por sus organizaciones colectivas) y formatos, lenguajes y prácticas de agentes estatales que mediatizan iniciativas institucionales en el marco de procesos políticos coyunturales. En tal sentido, analizamos la forma en que esos “proyectos” construyen “territorios” y sobre cómo, a su vez, los sujetos subalternos establecen “disputas negociadas” con esas definiciones y los accesos a recursos. Para ello, nos basamos en una estrategia metodológica cualitativa donde construimos un estudio de casos múltiple donde triangulamos diversas estrategias de recolección de datos (entrevistas, observación participante y análisis de documentos).In this article we propose to reflect about the instrumentalization of rural development projects oriented towards subaltern subjects in the northeast of Argentina at the beginning of the 21ST century. During our fieldwork in Formosa, Misiones and Chaco we have registered initiatives that promote different organizational practices (associations of state agents and farmers, cooperatives, farmer markets) and of access to machines, tools and infrastructure. From these records we would like to think over how these projects have been formulated and implemented, understanding that they represent disputes between the demands of subaltern subjects (sometimes expressed by their organizations) and techniques, languages and practices of state agents that mediate institutional initiatives within the framework of short - term political processes. In that sense, we analyze how these “projects” construct “territories” and how subaltern subjects establish “negotiated disputes” with these definitions and access to resources. In order to do this, we chose a qualitative methodology strategy that consisted in a multiple case study where we triangulated various data collection strategies (interviews, participant observation, and document analysis).Fil: Ramos Berrondo, Jimena. Theta lifts of Bianchi modular forms and applications to paramodularity

We explain how the work of Johnson-Leung and Roberts on lifting Hilbert modular forms for real quadratic fields to Siegel modular forms can be adapted to imaginary quadratic fields. For this, we use archimedean results from Harris, Soudry and Taylor and replace the global arguments of Roberts by the non-vanishing result of Takeda. As an application of our lifting result, we exhibit an abelian surface B defined over Q, which is not a restriction of scalars of an elliptic curve and satisfies the paramodularity Conjecture of Brumer and Kramer
