    Building Successful Collaborative Practices Among Early Childhood Educators: Understanding the Role of Educator Preparation Programs

    This qualitative case study was designed to explore the role of early childhood education and early childhood special education personnel preparation programs in providing training in effective professional collaboration knowledge and skills to preservice early childhood professionals. Effective collaboration practices are important processes that contribute to the creation of successful inclusion programs. Preparing preservice educators to demonstrate effective collaboration skills is critical to promoting positive attitudes and initiating successful collaboration practices that support inclusion in preschools. The evidence was collected through different sources such as interviews with program faculty and undergraduate students, reviews of course documents, and observations of classes. The data provided in-depth information regarding the extent that the two programs prepare their pre-service teachers to develop effective collaboration skills. The experiences of the program faculty and students toward collaboration and teaming were positive and supportive in general. The program faculty and students identified several challenges in teaching and learning about professional collaboration and provided multiple recommendations to improve training of preservice teachers in professional collaboration practices. Furthermore, the findings of the study regarding the methods of training in collaboration and teaming indicated a need to increase applied collaboration skills through coursework, field experiences, and practica. Providing professional collaboration knowledge with limited opportunities to practice collaboration skills was insufficient to prepare preservice early childhood teachers to be effective collaborators with other professionals in inclusive preschools. In addition, the findings highlighted similarities and differences between the early childhood education program and the early childhood special education program regarding training in collaboration. The findings of this study led to recommendations for policy, personnel preparation practices, and future research in order to prepare early childhood professionals to collaborate with other education professionals to enhance the quality of inclusive programs in early childhood settings

    Analisa Pengaruh Pelatihan Ketrampilan Menjual Terhadap Kinerja Tenaga Penjualan

    Tenaga penjualan mempunyai peranan yang penting bagi perusahaan, diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi tenaga penjualan untuk mencapai target penjualan, salah satu faktor tersebut adalah ketrampilan menjual yang dimiliki oleh tenaga penjualan. Pelatihan ketrampilan menjual sebagai bentuk pengembangan diri untuk meningkatkan kinerja tenaga penjualan. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan ketrampilan menjual terhadap kinerja tenaga penjualanPT. Tiga Serangkai Pustaka Mandiri Departemen Distribusi General Book Area Jawa Tengah. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Intact-Group Comparison. Tenaga penjualan cabang Jateng sebagai kelompok eksperimen yaitu kelompok yang diberi pelatihan. Tenaga penjualan cabang Sumatera Utara sebagai kelompok kontrol atau kelompok tanpa pelatihan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian campuran (Kuantitatif dan Kualitatif). Metode pengunpulan menggunakan data dokumentasi perusahaan, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,03 (dengan p < 0,05), hal ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan ketrampilan menjual terhadap kinerja tenaga penjualan. Dua bulan setelah pelatihan terdapat peningkatan pencapaian target penjualan sebesar 13,5%, dari 83% menjadi 96,5%

    Interacting F(R,T)F(R,T) gravity with modified Chaplygin gas

    In this paper, we have studied F(R,T)F(R,T) gravity as an arbitrary function of curvature and torsion scalars in Friedmann--Lema\^{\i}tre--Robertson--Walker (FLRW) background. Then, we have considered interacting model between F(R,T)F(R,T) gravity and modified Chaplygin gas. The novelty of this model is that the Universe includes both cases curvature and torsion, and one dominated by a Chaplygin gas. In order to calculate cosmological solutions, we obtained Friedmann equations and also equation of state (EoS) parameter of dark energy. By employing interacting model we considered the total energy density and the total pressure of Universe as the combination of components of dark energy and Chaplygin gas. Subsequently, we reconstructed the model by an origin of a scalar field entitled quintessence model with a field potential. The field potential has been calculated in terms of free parameters of F(R,T)F(R,T) gravity and modified Chaplygin gas. In what follows, we used a parametrization, and the cosmological parameters have been written in terms of redshift zz. Next, we plotted cosmological parameters with respect to three variable of cosmic time, redshift zz and ee-folding number N=ln(a)N=ln(a), and the figures showed us an accelerated expansion of Universe. Also, we have described the scenario in three status early time, late time and future time by ee-folding number. Finally, the stability of scenario has been investigated by a useful function named sound speed, and the graph of sound speed versus ee-folding number has been showed us that there is the stability in late time.Comment: 16 pages, 5 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1410.417

    Vernier calliper is very much used either by measurement laboratories and production. Vernier calliper measurement tools necessary to calibrate each period of 12 months, with a calibration done will determine the value of the correction/error and the value of the measurement uncertainty of measuring instruments vernier calliper. In this study calibration of vernier calliper follow the standard JIS B 7507 - 1993 at which the standard has been described specification requirements vernier calliper. Based on the results of the calibration has been done vernier calliper I have a maximum error of 0.00042 mm and the value of the uncertainty confidence level at 95% with a coverage factor of k = 2 is U95 = ±59.02 μm, vernier callipers II has a maximum error of 0.01994 mm and uncertainties confidence level at 95% with a coverage factor of k = 2 is U95 = ±59.42 μm. Both vernier callipers meets the requirements based on JIS B 7507-1993

    Statistical Inference for the Transformed Rayleigh Lomax Distribution with Progressive Type-II Right Censorship

    In this paper, we study the transformed Rayleigh Lomax (Trans-RL) distribution which belongs to a certain family of two parameters lifetime distributions given by Wang et al (2010). Confidence intervals and inverse estimators of the Trans-RL parameters are derived in terms of order statistics. A simulation study is conducted to report the coverage probabilities, the average biases and the average relative mean square errors for the maximum likelihood, L-moments and inverse estimators. We compare the performance of these methods under different schemes of progressively Type-II right censoring. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the proposed methods

    Analisis Positioning Program Studi Creative Multimedia Professional Berdasarkan Perceptual Map Dengan Metode Multi Dimensional Scalling

    Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai perbedaan yang dimiliki oleh Telkom Professional Certified Competency (TPCC) melalui program studinya Creative Multimedia Professional (CMP) dibandingkan dengan pesaingnya di bidang multimedia mengindikasikan bahwa TPCC belum memiliki positioning yang kuat di benak masyarakat. Tagline merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengkomunikasikan perbedaan tersebut juga belum dimiliki oleh TPCC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui positioning dari TPCC melalui program studi CMP diantara lembaga pelatihan dan sertifikasi lainnya khususnya di bidang multimedia yang berada di wilayah Bandung dan Jabodetabek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Multi Dimensional Scalling (MDS) yang menghasilkan output berupa perceptual map. Perceptual map yang dihasilkan menggambarkan persepsi masyarakat mengenai TPCC melalui program studi CMP dengan pesaingnya bedasarkan tiga belas atribut yang ada. Hasil rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah keunggulan program TPCC dikomunikasikan melalui tagline, menyediakan program khusus konsultasi, melengkapi fasilitas akademik, membuat beberapa program yang dapat mengasah softskill, bekerjasama dengan Perusahaan di bidang multimedia, menambah variasi kegiatan pembelajaran
