The political upheaval in the early days of reform had an impact on the formation of parties which were no longer monopolized by the political elites during the New Order era. This was evidenced by the democratic principle of transparency in the election of government officials. The development of the political culture at the regional level is different from the situation at the national level. The development of political culture at the regional level is more dominated by political thoughts and behavior based on a mature political culture. The Mataraman Kediri community has social and cultural characteristics that also influence their political traditions. In the context of general elections, the Mataraman community has a special characteristic in their political choices which is reflected in the choice and support for certain political parties, that the way the people elect depends on their past historical patterns. The results of this study indicate that the people of Mataraman Kediri have a synergistic political pattern known as thearchitecture of power politics. The relationship between the religious elite, entrepreneurs, and the government has a political synergy that is able to influence political patterns and maps in the Mataraman region of Kediri

Kata Kunci : Personal Selling Quality, Keputusan Menggunakan Jasa ABSTRACT Mochamad Iqbal Alamin, 1301782, "The Effect of Personal Selling Quality Against Decision to Using Tourism Bus Services in West Java" ( Survey of Groups that Use Tourism Bus Services at West Java ) ", under the guidance of Gitasiswhara, SE .Par., MM and Dewi Pancawati Novalita, S.Pd, MM. West Java is the one of tourist destination province that has many bus tour companies such as West Java. The problem of decreasing sales and not achieving the target in the West Java bus tour companies is due to many things such as the number of new bus tour company so the competition is getting tighter, and thequality of promotion is poor, especially the quality of personal selling becomes the one of factor decreasing the purchase in that companies. In this research, the independent variable (x) used is personal selling quality while the dependent variable (y) in this research is the decision to use services. The type of research used is descriptive verification and the method is survey with census technique, with 117 respondents of PIC group who using tourism bus service atMulyasari Pratama, Sugih Jaya and Star Holidays companies.Data analysis technique and hypothesis test used is multiple linear regression. The result of research shows that sub variable of personal selling quality that is Delivering product information (X1) and Helping in the decision making (X4) have positive and significant influence to service decision, while Satisfying socio-emotional needs (X2) and Satisfying product -related needs (X3) has no effect on the decision to use services, it is expected the company continues to improve the quality of personal selling to increase the sales of tourism bus services in West Java . 1-methyl-3methylimidazolium dimethylphosphate ([MMIM][DMP]) ionic liquid (IL), were prepared and demonstrated to be effective for the removal of aromatic sulfur compounds (Scompound) thiophene and benzothiophene (BT) from crude oil model (Dodecane) in terms of sulfur partition coefficient (KN) at 298.15 K. The result shows that the sulfur removal selectivity for [MMIM][DMP] is depend on the molecular structure of the aromatic Scompounds and follow the order BT > thiophene. Some analysis has been done on [MMIM][DMP] IL in order to obtain its characteristic such as identification ofiL's molecular structure by using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, density, water content and identification of IL's functional group by using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy. The knowledge of characteristics of IL is important from an engineering point of view because it plays a major role in a lot of operation such as heating, stirring and mixing

Tool life prediction and management for an integrated tool selection system

In machining, it is often difficult to select appropriate tools (tool holder and insert), machining parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut) and tool replacement times for all tools due to the wide variety of tooling options and the complexity of the machining operations. Of particular interest is the complex interrelationships between tool selection, cutting data calculation and tool life prediction and control. Numerous techniques and methods of measuring and modelling tool wear, particularly in turning operations were reviewed. The characteristics of these methods were analysed and it was found that most tool wear studies were self-contained without any obvious interface with tool selection. The work presented herein deals with the development of an integrated, off-line tool life control system (TLC). The tool life control system (TLC) predicts tool life for the various turning operations and for a wide variety of workpiece materials. TLC is a closed-loop system combining algorithms with feedback based on direct measurement of flank wear. TLC has been developed using Crystal, which is a rule-based shell and statistical techniques such as multiple regression and the least-squares method. TLC consists of five modules namely, the technical planning of the cutting operation (TPO), tool life prediction (TLP), tool life assessor (TLA), tool life management (TLM) and the tool wear balancing and requirement planning (TRP).The technical planning of the cutting operation (TPO) module contains a procedure to select tools and generate efficient machining parameters (cutting velocity, feed rate and depth of cut) for turning and boring operations. For any selected insert grade, material sub-class, type of cut (finishing, medium-roughing and roughing) and type of cutting fluid, the tool life prediction (TLP) module calculates the theoretical tool life value (T(_sugg)) based on tool life coefficients derived from tool manufacturers' data. For the selected operation, the tool life assessor (TLA) generates a dynamic multiple regression to calculate the approved tool life constants (InC, 1/a, 1/β) based on the real tool life data collected from experiments. These approved constants are used to calculate a modified tool life value (T(_mod)) for the given operation. The stochastic nature of tool life is taken into account, as well as the uncertainty of the available information by introducing a 95% confidence level for tool life. The tool life management module (TLM) studies the variations in tool life data predicted by TLP and TLA and the approved tool life data collected from the shop floor and provides feedback concerning the accuracy of tool life predictions. Finally, the tool life balancing and requirement planning (TRP) methods address the problem of controlling and balancing the wear rate of the cutting edge by the appropriate alteration of cutting conditions so that each one will machine the number of parts that optimize the overall tool changing strategy. Two new tool changing strategies were developed based on minimum production cost, with very encouraging results. Cutting experiments proved that the state of wear and the tool life can be predicted efficiently by the proposed model. The resulting software can be used by machine manufacturers, tool consultants or process planners to achieve the integrated planning and control of tool life as part of the tool selection and cutting data calculation activity
