    Human Computation and Convergence

    Humans are the most effective integrators and producers of information, directly and through the use of information-processing inventions. As these inventions become increasingly sophisticated, the substantive role of humans in processing information will tend toward capabilities that derive from our most complex cognitive processes, e.g., abstraction, creativity, and applied world knowledge. Through the advancement of human computation - methods that leverage the respective strengths of humans and machines in distributed information-processing systems - formerly discrete processes will combine synergistically into increasingly integrated and complex information processing systems. The birth of nanotechnology proper was conceived through discourses of speculative nanotechnology. However, current nanotech-nology research has detracted from its speculative promises in favour of more attainable material products. Nonetheless, normal nanotechnology has leveraged the popular support and consequential funding it needs to conduct research and development (R&D) as a result of popular conceptions of speculative nanotechnology and its promises.     Generalized Hybrid Evolutionary Algorithm Framework with a Mutation Operator Requiring no Adaptation

    This paper presents a generalized hybrid evolutionary optimization structure that not only combines both nondeterministic and deterministic algorithms on their individual merits and distinct advantages, but also offers behaviors of the three originating classes of evolutionary algorithms (EAs). In addition, a robust mutation operator is developed in place of the necessity of mutation adaptation, based on the mutation properties of binary-coded individuals in a genetic algorithm. The behaviour of this mutation operator is examined in full and its performance is compared with adaptive mutations. The results show that the new mutation operator outperforms adaptive mutation operators while reducing complications of extra adaptive parameters in an EA representation

    Musemo: Express Musical Emotion Based on Neural Network

    Department of Urban and Environmental Engineering (Convergence of Science and Arts)Music elicits emotional responses, which enable people to empathize with the emotional states induced by music, experience changes in their current feelings, receive comfort, and relieve stress (Juslin & Laukka, 2004). Music emotion recognition (MER) is a field of research that extracts emotions from music through various systems and methods. Interest in this field is increasing as researchers try to use it for psychiatric purposes. In order to extract emotions from music, MER requires music and emotion labels for each music. Many MER studies use emotion labels created by non-music-specific psychologists such as Russell???s circumplex model of affects (Russell, 1980) and Ekman???s six basic emotions (Ekman, 1999). However, Zentner, Grandjean, and Scherer suggest that emotions commonly used in music are subdivided into specific areas, rather than spread across the entire spectrum of emotions (Zentner, Grandjean, & Scherer, 2008). Thus, existing MER studies have difficulties with the emotion labels that are not widely agreed through musicians and listeners. This study proposes a musical emotion recognition model ???Musemo??? that follows the Geneva emotion music scale proposed by music psychologists based on a convolution neural network. We evaluate the accuracy of the model by varying the length of music samples used as input of Musemo and achieved RMSE (root mean squared error) performance of up to 14.91%. Also, we examine the correlation among emotion labels by reducing the Musemo???s emotion output vector to two dimensions through principal component analysis. Consequently, we can get results that are similar to the study that Vuoskoski and Eerola analyzed for the Geneva emotion music scale (Vuoskoski & Eerola, 2011).     Introduction. The study of the laws and principles of information processes in the biological systems of the human body in extreme forms of its activities and the development of the theory of medical information systems of such appointment, taking into account the status and trends of convergence of society, ecosystems and technology become very relevant. This state of affairs makes it possible to affirm that it is an actual scientific and applied problem of radical change of the existing paradigm of designing information systems. The purpose of the article is to specify the informational aspects of low intensity, haptic stimulation by the light, which is essential for correction of the functional state of an organism of the human being, who works in extreme conditions, to develop and study such methods and systems. Methods. Analyses of requirements, functions and systems for designing synthesis of information technologies and the control biotechnical system of correction of the functional state of an organism of the human, who works in extreme conditions. The theoretical and experimental dependences between the stimulation energy of light emission diode (LED) and the energy are transferred through the layered bio media design. Mathematical modelling and computational simulation. Comparison of these real and model data. Results. The base aspects requirements, functions and systems for designing synthesis of information technologies and the control biotechnical system of correction of the functional state of an organism of the human, who works in extreme conditions, low intensity, haptic stimulation by the light are defined. The methods for determining of intensity I0 of light emission diode, recursive expression , and formula for coefficient Cm , where M — quantity of bio media layers were developed. The bridges, which connects Maxwell’s phenomenological theory with the atomistic theory of matter and optics, were used. Computer simulation studies have confirmed the specification of requirements, functional and structural schemas of biotechnical system. Conclusions. Thanking to specification of requirements possibility-using recursive determining of the light flux intensity after every bio media layer was got. Under the effect of recurstion low computation complexity was caused. Information technology means (for automation optimal control) of the human state under external influences on the organism was developed.     Satellite Navigation for the Age of Autonomy

    Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) brought navigation to the masses. Coupled with smartphones, the blue dot in the palm of our hands has forever changed the way we interact with the world. Looking forward, cyber-physical systems such as self-driving cars and aerial mobility are pushing the limits of what localization technologies including GNSS can provide. This autonomous revolution requires a solution that supports safety-critical operation, centimeter positioning, and cyber-security for millions of users. To meet these demands, we propose a navigation service from Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) satellites which deliver precision in-part through faster motion, higher power signals for added robustness to interference, constellation autonomous integrity monitoring for integrity, and encryption / authentication for resistance to spoofing attacks. This paradigm is enabled by the 'New Space' movement, where highly capable satellites and components are now built on assembly lines and launch costs have decreased by more than tenfold. Such a ubiquitous positioning service enables a consistent and secure standard where trustworthy information can be validated and shared, extending the electronic horizon from sensor line of sight to an entire city.
