    A bibliometric overview of how critical success factors influence on enterprise resource planning implementations

    [EN] This work conducts bibliometric research into publications during the period 1999 to early 2018. The aim of this study is to help gain a better understanding of the publications covering CSF and ERP implementations all over the world. The study includes the most cited articles, most cited authors and most influential institutions as well as the most prolific countries. A database of 301 articles from 86 different institutions and 48 countries has been documented and analyzed.     A Bibliometric Analysis and Visualization of the Scientific Publications of Universities: A Study of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences during 1992-2018

    The evaluation of universities from different perspectives is important for their scientific development. Analyzing the scientific papers of a university under the bibliometric approach is one main evaluative approach. The aim of this study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis and visualization of papers published by Hamadan University of Medical Science (HUMS), Iran, during 1992-2018. This study used bibliometric and visualization techniques. Scopus database was used for data collection. 3753 papers were retrieved by applying Affiliation Search in Scopus advanced search section. Excel and VOSviewer software packages were used for data analysis and bibliometric indicator extraction. An increasing trend was seen in the numbers of HUMS's published papers and received citations. The highest rate of collaboration in national level was with Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Internationally, HUMS's researchers had the highest collaboration with the authors from the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, respectively. All highly-cited papers were published in high level Q1 journals. Term clustering demonstrated four main clusters: epidemiological studies, laboratory studies, pharmacological studies, and microbiological studies. The results of this study can be beneficial to the policy-makers of this university. In addition, researchers and bibliometricians can use this study as a pattern for studying and visualizing the bibliometric indicators of other universities and research institutions

    © 2005-2012 IEEE. Fuzzy Sets and Systems is an area of computational intelligence, pioneered by Lotfi Zadeh over 50 years ago in a seminal paper in Information and Control. Fuzzy Sets (FSs) deal with uncertainty in our knowledge of a particular situation. Research and applications in FSs have grown steadily over 50 years. More recently, we have seen a growth in Type-2 Fuzzy Set (T2 FS) related papers, where T2 FSs are utilized to handle uncertainty in realworld problems. In this paper, we have used bibliometric methods to obtain a broad overview of the area of T2 FSs. This method analyzes information on the bibliographic details of published journal papers, which includes title, authors, author address, journals and citations, extracted from the Science and Social Science Citation Indices in the Web of Science (WoS) database for the last 20 years (1997-2017). We have compared the growth of publications in the field of FSs, and its subset T2 FSs, identified highly cited papers in T2 FSs, highly cited authors, key institutions, and main countries with researchers involved in T2 FS related research

    A Bibliometric Analysis of International Journal of Nursing Studies (1963 – 2018)

    Purpose- This study set to present a general overview of the International Journal of Nursing Studies (IJNS) from 1963 to 2018 using bibliometric indicators to assess its performance. Design/methodology/approach- This study is a bibliometric analysis. The articles of the IJNS were analyzed. Scopus database was used for collecting articles. Excel software was used to analyze the process of publishing journal articles, identify top countries, institutes, and authors and extract highly cited articles in the journal. The visualization of the keywords in the articles published in the journal was done using the VOSviewer software. Findings- The results of the bibliometric analysis showed that the United Kingdom with 966 papers, King\u27s College London with 130 papers and Bergman R with 25 papers were the most productive and influential countries, universities, and authors contributing to the IJNS. The paper of Keeney S. (2001), entitled A critical review of the Delphi technique as a research methodology for nursing , was the most highly cited article in the IJNS from the beginning of 1963 to the end of 2018. The clustering of published keywords suggests that psychometric and nursing care issues are emerging journal clusters added to the journal in the last two decades. Conclusion- The evolution process of the IJNS is positive and growing. This Journal has attracted much attention from researchers and authors around the world as a pioneer and leading journalist in the field of nursing. Originality/value- This is the first comprehensive study offering a bibliometric overview of the leading trends of the IJNS over its history

    Facility layout problem: Bibliometric and benchmarking analysis

    Facility layout problem is related to the location of departments in a facility area, with the aim of determining the most effective configuration. Researches based on different approaches have been published in the last six decades and, to prove the effectiveness of the results obtained, several instances have been developed. This paper presents a general overview on the extant literature on facility layout problems in order to identify the main research trends and propose future research questions. Firstly, in order to give the reader an overview of the literature, a bibliometric analysis is presented. Then, a clusterization of the papers referred to the main instances reported in literature was carried out in order to create a database that can be a useful tool in the benchmarking procedure for researchers that would approach this kind of problems

    A Bibliometric Overview of the International Journal of Interactive Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence

    The International Journal of Interactive Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence (IJIMAI) published its first issue ten years ago. Currently, IJIMAI is indexed in the important database Emerging Sources Citation Index. This paper aims to identify, through a mapping of science, those most relevant aspects of the structure of publications made during the first 10 years of IJIMAI. Using VOSviewer software, the structural maps of the IJIMAI publications are analysed according to techniques such as bibliographic coupling, co-citations and cooccurrence of keywords. In addition, the evolution of the publications, citations and an analysis of the most cited papers of the journal are presented. The results show that IJIMAI has experienced a remarkable growth of both publications and citations in the last five years. We also observe that IJIMAI does not only capture the attention of the Spanish scientific community, but also of emerging countries such as India and Iran and emerging Latin American countries such as Colombia. With a such increasing behaviour, it is expected in the coming years that IJIMAI will position itself among the best journals with similar scientific scope

    A bibliometric analysis of the first twenty years of soft computing

Motivated by this anniversary, this article develops a bibliometric analysis of the journal in order to identify the leading trends of the journal in terms of publications and citations. The work considers several issues including the leading authors, institutions and countries. The study also uses a software to develop a graphical analysis. The results show a significant increase of the journal during the last years that has consolidated the journal as a leading one in the field

    Fifty years of fuzzy research: A bibliometric analysis and a long-term comparative overview

    This paper presents a general overview and a long-term comparison in fuzzy logic research published between 1965 and 2017, obtained via Web of Science. The paper analyzes the growth, impact, trends and regional localization of fuzzy re-search. Conventional, sophisticated among others bibliometric indicators have applies. It aggregates the information according to different levels and criteria including researchers, publications, institutions, or countries. A global perspective have been provided through comparisons of regional aggregates and compound annual growth rates that strengthen the indicators applied in this article. The results permit to visualize the influence, importance, evolution and performance of the fuzzy research as well its contribution to, and transversality with other fields. The findings show that China continues to be a leader in number of contributions. There has been a recent relative decline in the United States contributions overall. Asian and African contribu-tions to scientific literature have grown noticeably. The results also provide a framework for the use of indicators adjusted to specific contexts and relevant information for future research

    A bibliometric overview of the International Journal of Strategic Property Management between 2008 and 2019

    The International Journal of Strategic Property Management (IJSPM) is an interdisciplinary journal which provides a forum for a broad range of strategic property management research. The topics such as asset and facilities management, property policy, risk management, residential property value enhancement, and housing finance are included in the scope of the IJSPM’s investigation. The aim of this study is to provide a bibliometric analysis of the papers published by the IJSPM which is collected in the well-known Social Science Citation Index database and analyse the current status and the emerging trends of the research outputs in the IJSPM with some broadly utilized as well as diversely designed indicators. By analysing the annual publication distribution, the citation structure, the co-citation and cooperation networks, and the influential contributors on the aspects of specific countries/regions, institutions, cited journals, and authors, the status quo of the IJSPM publications is presented. Also, the emerging trends are explored through the analyses of timeline view and burst detection. We make the contributions in terms of visualizing the complex and significant results based on the objective and quantitative data. This paper assists researchers with an understanding of the development of the IJSPM, which gives useful information for further researches and submitting works

    Research on the implication of artificial intelligence in accounting subfields: current research trends from bibliometric analysis, and research directions

    All stakeholders recognize the importance of the information provided by various accounting subfields in the decision-making process and managerial activities, on the other hand, with the exponential growth of artificial intelligence, the traditional way of working in accounting has changed, and research about it has been undertaken worldwide, In this context, This study provides a bibliometric analysis of 931 articles which were published from 1990 to 2022 to look for the research trends and most prominent topics and theme addressed in the literature regarding the application of artificial intelligence technologies in five accounting subfields namely Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Tax Accounting,  Auditing, and Governmental Accounting. Using VOS viewer software, this study contributes to accounting literature by analyzing the current common theme in the literature through visualizing and mapping the occurrence and the co-occurrence of authors’ keywords of 931 articles that address this topic, which will allow us to highlight some less explored avenues of research that can therefore be further explored by scholars. The results show that Financial Accounting is the most commonly researched accounting area explored. The theme most frequently addressed is the detection of financial statement fraud. There were few articles discussing Artificial Intelligence’s implication on Tax Accounting and Government Accounting.
