    The Curriculum 2013 is a learning guidance for schools in Indonesia. One among many schools that applied Curriculum 2013 is vocational school. Social sciences based majors also being taught in vocational school. One of them is Indonesian History. The major of history in vocational school is very strategic for internalizing national character values. Unfortunately, history teachers in vocational school don’t apply suitable way in their teaching. That’s understandable since students in vocational school focus on vocational majors. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method by utilizing some techniques of data collection such as observations, interviews and documentations. The aim of this research is to know teaching strategy which is suitable in vocational school. The benefit of this research is the finding of ideal teaching strategy for vocational school students. In this case, the object of research is SMK Negeri 3 Kudus. History teaching in vocational school can utilize teaching media and learning in historical site. Those two strategies have goal for easing students of vocational school in understanding material of history subject. Each of those strategies has advantages and downsides, so that combination of them can cover each others’ downsides

    Description research general purpose to about empowerment of life skill educative participant in Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar, while purpose of special of research, that is description about 1) Planning of life skill educative participant in Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar; 2) Process life skill educative participant in Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar. Research type is qualitative. Research approach applies phenomenology. Subjects were principals, chief program expertise, teachers, and the chairman of the workshop. Data collecting method applies in-depth interview, observation and documentation. Data analytical technique applies trianggulation. Result of research that is : 1) Planning of students life skills in Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar is a school program to improve the life skills of learners who are prepared based on the results of deliberation principals, teachers in each field of expertise, and the teachers at Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar. Forms of life skills planning of learners who do Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar namely: Education Development Plan Oriented Life Skill (Life Skills Education), School Partnership Program with the company/industry, and Development of Unit Production Plan. 2) The process of life skills students in Vocational School Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar is the implementation of Life Skills Education plan, School Partnership Program plan with company/industry, and the development of Unit Production plan

The ability of digital media managers to compile content can better convey messages to the public. This is of course necessary for the managers of the Tjendekia Puruhita Vocational School.The problem faced by the Tjendekia Puruhita Vocational School Semarang is that the Tjendekia Puruhita Teachers have not mastered AI (Artificial Intelligence) telecommunications in the Digital World.     THE CONSTRAINT FACTORS OF THE STUDENTS OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOL MAJOR COMPUTER ON THE LEARNING PROCESS OF COMPUTER NETWORK SUBJECT AT SMK PIRI 1 YOGYAKARTA

    The research aims to find out how big the factors from inside and outside that constraint student of vocational school major computer on the learning process of computer network subjects at SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta. The research is descriptive quantitative research using questionnaires with Likert scale to collecting data. Respondents of the research are all students of class X and XI vocational school major in Computer Network SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta, amounting to 74 students. Instrument validity Judged by experts and empirical validity Product Moment correlation analysis, while Instrument reliability test was calculated by Alpha Cronbach formula. The data analysis technique used statistic descriptive quantitative technique. The research results of the constraint factors in student learning is the percentage of states is very high 8.1%, 21.6% stated high, 44.6% stated average, 20.3% stated low, 5.4% said very low. Overall the constraint factor in a student learning from the category is normal. For the study of the obstacle factors in students is the percentage of 4% expressed very high, 25.7% stated high, 41.9% stated average, 18.9% stated low, 9.5% said very low. Overall the constraint factor of student learning from the category is normal, the results can give an idea that both constraint factors learning from inside and outside the students less inhibited them to learning process this result shows that physical, psychological, as well as factors of schools, families, and communities are less inhibited for students in learning process of computer network.     The Principal’s Strategy in Preparing Students Ready to Face the Industrial Revolution 4.0

    In this qualitative paper, we investigated in-depth about the strategy of the principal in preparing the students ready for the industrial revolution 4.0. The objects of research were State Vocational School 2 Palembang, State Vocational School 6 Palembang, Vocational School 2 Muara Enim, State Vocational School 1 Gelumbang, and Vocational School YTK Kimia Palembang. The data were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. We found that some strategies used by 5 (five) Vocational Schools in South Sumatra in aligning education with the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era were improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure based on industrial needs (link and match). They upgraded teachers' competence appropriate with the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and then created competent and ready graduates in harmony with the program Making Indonesia 4.0 launched by the Ministry of Industry

    Industrial development has an impact on competency requirements that must be aligned with the provision of competencies in vocational school. Vocational school graduates who are able to work in accordance with their field of expertise are one of the keys to the success of vocational education. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the vocational alignment based on the schema. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using interviews. The research was conducted during a workshop organized by the Directorate of Vocational Education. The research subjects were Indonesian vocational school teachers. The research procedure used the Denzin & Lincoln model. Data analysis was carried out with the assistance of the Atlas.ti software version 8.3. The results of this study provide information that there are three important things that need to be done by vocational school and Industry to be able to carry out and develop competencies, namely process, strategic management, and duties and responsibilities. The three things that are the findings, of course, have their respective indicators which can be done specifically by vocational school and Industry. The results of this research can be used as a collective reflection for vocational school and industry in increasing competence and developing the ability to create quality graduates for vocational school and to find competent workforce candidates for Industry

    ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the achievement motivation of Class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School. The general problem of this research is how is the achievement motivation of Class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School? The sub-problems are (1) What are the characteristics of achievement motivation of class XI students of Pontianak Health Vocational School? (2) What are the achievement motivation factors for class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School? (3) How are the BK teachers' efforts in increasing the achievement motivation of class XI students of the Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School? The general purpose of this study was to describe the achievement motivation of class XI students at SMK Kesehatan Cooperative Pontianak. This research method is a descriptive method with a form of research that is survey research. The research subjects were students of class XI with a population of 37 students. Techniques and data collection tools used in this study were indirect communication and questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis on the characteristics of achievement motivation of students in class XI of Cooperative Health Vocational School, Pontianak as a whole reached 79%, meaning that it was in the "High" category regarding the factors that affect achievement motivation of students of class XI of Pontianak Cooperative Health Vocational School as a whole reachingKeywords : Analisis, Motivasi Prestas
