    EVALUATING ALTERNATIVE FARMING SYSTEMS: A FUZZY MADM APPROACH

    This paper develops a decision support method that integrates measures of achievement in the economic, environmental, and social aspects of farming. The decision support method combines multiple attribute decision making (MADM) with fuzzy logic. The fuzzy MADM model fully ranks decision alternatives relative to the preferences of decision makers and overcomes several problems inherent in other MADM approaches.     Strategic weight manipulation in multiple attribute decision making

    In some real-world multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems, a decision maker can strategically set attribute weights to obtain her/his desired ranking of alternatives, which is called the strategic weight manipulation of the MADM. In this paper, we define the concept of the ranking range of an alternative in the MADM, and propose a series of mixed 0-1 linear programming models (MLPMs) to show the process of designing a strategic attribute weight vector. Then, we reveal the conditions to manipulate a strategic attribute weight based on the ranking range and the proposed MLPMs. Finally, a numerical example with real background is used to demonstrate the validity of our models, and simulation experiments are presented to show the better performance of the ordered weighted averaging operator than the weighted averaging operator in defending against the strategic weight manipulation of the MADM problems

    ABSTRAKDinas Pekerjaan Umum Bina Marga dan Pengairan Kabupaten Trenggalek belum bisa melakukan pengujian kualitas kelas  aspal yang terintregasi denga komputer. Masih sebatas memakai perhitungan manual untuk mendapatkan hasil dari kualitas kelas lapisan aspal tersebut, dimana akan memerlukan waktu, tenaga, dan pikiran yang cukup banyak untuk menentukan kualitas kelas lapisan aspal.Berdasarkan masalah yang telah diuraikan di atas, penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai perancangan system pendukung keputusan penentuan kualitas kelas lapisan aspal berbasis  Web  menggunakan pendekatan metode  Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making(FMADM) menggunakan  Simple Additive Weighting  (SAW).  Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses perangkingan untuk menentukan alternatif yang diberikan. Previous testing uses manual calculation to get results of asphalt class. It needs extra power and mind to determining the quality of asphalt class. Based on above description about problems, author conducts research on decision support system to determine the qualities a asphalt class based web application using Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW).     Hesitant Triangular Fuzzy Information Aggregation Operators Based on Bonferroni Means and Their Application to Multiple Attribute Decision Making

    We investigate the multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) problems with hesitant triangular fuzzy information. Firstly, definition and some operational laws of hesitant triangular fuzzy elements are introduced. Then, we develop some hesitant triangular fuzzy aggregation operators based on Bonferroni means and discuss their basic properties. Some existing operators can be viewed as their special cases. Next, we apply the proposed operators to deal with multiple attribute decision-making problems under hesitant triangular fuzzy environment. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the developed method and demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness

    A Fuzzy Topsis Multiple-Attribute Decision Making for Scholarship Selection

    As the education fees are becoming more expensive, more students apply for scholarships. Consequently, hundreds and even thousands of applications need to be handled by the sponsor. To solve the problems, some alternatives based on several attributes (criteria) need to be selected. In order to make a decision on such fuzzy problems, Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMDAM) can be applied. In this study, Unified Modeling Language (UML) in FMADM with TOPSIS and Weighted Product (WP) methods is applied to select the candidates for academic and non-academic scholarships at Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga. Data used were a crisp and fuzzy data. The results show that TOPSIS and  Weighted Product FMADM methods can be used to select the most suitable candidates to receive the scholarships since the preference values applied in this method can show applicants with the highest eligibility.

    Decision making takes into account a myriad of factors about the future topics, which often prove challenging and quite complicated. Multiple Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) methods still have not become powerful enough to help decision makers to adopt the best solutions regarding future issues. Different scenarios are suitable for developing an appropriate outlook toward different probable futures. Scenarios are not inherently quantitative, but recently different integrated quantitative methods have been incorporated with the processes in various studies. Previously, different types of scenario-based MADM methods have been presented in different studies, but they just considered each case separately. In those studies, MADM methods were only applied to evaluate the situation in scenario-based MADM. This research concentrates on another paradigm in applying scenarios to upcoming events, MADM methods in the new area are explored, and the concept, which is called MADM based scenarios, is presented. In different situations and scenarios, different MADM models will happen. New concepts about most useful criterion and applicable alternatives are introduced in this new approach for decision-making about the future. In addition, a general framework is proposed for applying MADM-based scenarios for unpredictable scenarios and situations, which can be almost controlled future in practice

    ABSTRAKSI: Salah satu masalah dalam mengambil keputusan adalah memilih sekumpulan alternatif berdasarkan banyak atribut atau kriteria. Dimana pengambil keputusan seringkali harus memilih atau melakukan perangkingan terhadap sekumpulan alternatif yang memiliki atribut-atribut yang tidak seimbang. Memilih rumah adalah salah satu contoh kasusnya dimana setiap alternatif rumah yang ditawarkan memiliki banyak pertimbangan yang digunakan sebagai parameter dalam memilih rumah. Salah satu cara yang dapat membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu dengan Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM). Dengan pendekatan integrasi subjektif dan objektif, perhitungan nilai bobot untuk setiap atributnya dilakukan secara subjektif dan objektif. Dimana nilai bobot secara subjektif diperoleh berdasarkan opini yang diberikan para pakar, dan nilai bobot secara objektif diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode TOPSIS. Kemudian dilakukan perangkingan dengan menggunakan Quantifier Guided Dominance Degree (QGDD) dan Quantifier Guided non-Dominance Degree (QGNDD) sehingga dapat diperoleh usulan alternatif perumahan. Dimana pengujian dilakukan dengan nilai alpha yang berbeda-beda. Pada saat nilai alpha = 0.7 dan 0.9, prosentase usulan sistem dengan harapan user semakin menurun. Hal ini disebabkan opini yang diberikan pakar berbeda dengan harapan user. Proses penyelesaian masalah dengan menggunakan MADM dituangkan dalam suatu sistem yang disebut dengan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan.Kata Kunci : MADM, pendekatan integrasi subjektif dan objektif, metodeABSTRACT: One of problem in decision making is selecting sets of alternatives based on many criterion or attribute. One of way of which can able to solving the the problem that is with Multiple Attribute Decision Making ( MADM). With a subjective and objective integration approach, weight value to each attribute is obtained by subjective and objective. Where weight value by subjektif is obtained pursuant to experts given opinion, and weight value objectively obtained by using TOPSIS. Then rank sets of alternatives using Quantifier Guided Dominance Degree ( QGDD) and Quantifier Guided Degree non-Dominance (QGNDD) so that can be obtained housing alternative suggestion. Where examination done with value of alpha which different each other. At the value of alpha = 0.7 and 0.9, percentage of system proposal on the chance of downhill user progressively. This matter is caused by expert given opinion different from expectation of user.
