    The production of meanings drawn by students in tutoring in undergraduate nursing

    Objective: Analyze the meanings produced in free drawings and built by students in tutoring scenario while learning in undergraduate and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of tutoring demonstrated in free drawings constructed by the students during the training of nursing students. Method: A qualitative research. The scenario a private college in Rio de Janeiro. The subjects 87 students from 1st to 7th periods in nursing. The ethical and legal procedures were present and the authorization of the Ethics in Research-Protocol n.º 581-11. Results: The analysis of data collected contemplated the thematic analysis. From reading the drawings we obtained an understanding that students value the mentoring, to having to build learning based on responsibility. Conclusion: The study aims to encourage students and teachers in achieving the best quality training

    ANÁLISE DA SUSCETIBILIDADE E VULNERABILIDADE À EROSÃO HÍDRICA PELO PROCESSO ANALÍTICO HIERÁRQUICO (AHP)

    A determinação da potencialidade à erosão hídrica é o ponto de partida para minimizar os processos de degradação do solo e a perda da  biodiversidade.  As geotecnologias apresentam-se como ferramentas de suporte no diagnóstico e prognóstico ambiental, a partir da análise espacial dos processos erosivos. Dessa forma, o objetivo deste estudo foi aplicar a análise multicriterial para determinar a suscetibilidade e vulnerabilidade à erosão hídrica da Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio São Francisco no estado de Sergipe. O principal procedimento empregado foi o Processo Analítico Hierárquico (AHP), cujos critérios utilizados foram: erodibilidade, erosividade, hipsometria, declividade e cobertura do solo. Os resultados obtidos foram um aumento expressivo das áreas que apresentaram suscetibilidade erosiva moderadamente baixa, moderadamente alta e alta. Por outro lado, as áreas com vulnerabilidade erosiva muito baixa e baixa foram maiores do que as áreas suscetíveis à erosão. Foi possível concluir que a Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio São Francisco apresentou, predominantemente, baixo potencial à vulnerabilidade erosiva em função das práticas adequadas de manejo nas áreas de pastagens. Entretanto, é fundamental a recomposição da vegetação ciliar e o reflorestamento dos biomas Caatinga e Mata Atlântica, visto que houve uma perda significativa da vegetação nativa.Palavras-chave: Erosão do solo; conservação do solo; sistema de manejo do pastejo. ANALYSIS OF SUSCEPTIBILITY AND VULNERABILITY TO WATER EROSION BY ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP)AbstractDetermining the potential for water erosion is the starting point for minimizing soil degradation processes and loss of biodiversity. Geotechnologies are presented as support tools in environmental diagnosis and prognosis based on the spatial analysis of erosive processes. Thus, the objective of this study was to apply multicriterial analysis to determine the susceptibility and vulnerability to water erosion in the São Francisco River Basin in the state of Sergipe. The main procedure used was the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), whose criteria used were erodibility, erosivity, hypsometry, slope and soil cover. The results obtained were a significant increase in areas that presented moderately low, moderately high and high erosive susceptibility. In opposition, areas with very low and low erosive vulnerability were greater than areas susceptible to erosion. It was possible to conclude that the São Francisco River Basin presented, predominantly, low potential to erosive vulnerability due to the adequate management practices in the pasture areas. However, the restoration of riparian vegetation and the reforestation of the Caatinga and Atlantic Forest biomes are essential, since there was a significant loss of native vegetation.Keywords: Soil erosion; soil conservation; grazing management system

    Fatores que Influenciam a Satisfação de Discentes com Instituições Educacionais na Modalidade a Distância no Ensino Superior Brasileiro

    The objective of this research is to identify the antecedent factors that affect the perceived quality of the course and the subsequent students’ satisfaction with high education institutions in the distance learning modality. For this, descriptive research was carried out, with cross-section and quantitative data through the application of an electronic questionnaire. The data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results indicate that the constructs support for learning, financial risk and technological ability influence the perceived quality of the course, which, in turn, positively impacts the satisfaction with the teaching institution by the students. There is a theoretical contribution to the teaching-learning area. In practical terms, the results confirm paths for expanding the modality in distance education, thus contributing to the improvement and creation of new technologies aimed at distance education, as well as teaching methodologies, to increase its use exponentially and adherence more students and a process of continuous improvement of results.   Keywords: Teaching-learning. Satisfaction with teaching institutions. O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar os fatores antecedentes que afetam a qualidade percebida do curso e a posterior satisfação dos alunos com instituições de ensino superior na modalidade a distância. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa descritiva, com corte transversal e dados quantitativos obtidos por meio de aplicação de questionário eletrônico. Os dados foram analisados por modelagem de equações estruturais. Os resultados indicam que os construtos de suporte à aprendizagem, risco financeiro e habilidade tecnológica influenciam a qualidade percebida do curso que, por sua vez, impacta positivamente a satisfação com a instituição de ensino pelos discentes. Logo, há contribuição teórica para a área de ensino-aprendizagem. De forma prática, os resultados confirmam caminhos para a ampliação da modalidade EaD, contribuindo para o aprimoramento e a criação de novas tecnologias voltadas ao ensino EaD, assim como de metodologias de ensino, de forma a aumentar sua utilização exponencialmente, a adesão de mais alunos e o processo de melhoria contínua dos resultados.   Palavras-chave: Ensino-aprendizagem.     In this article we will present a study on the social network Proedi, which included the analysis of the content of a discussion forum entitled "Technology vs Methodology", formal in its constitution, which involves a group of future teachers of a master's degree in Teaching at the University of Minho. The objective of the review was to evaluate the presence of teaching, one of the components of the Community of Inquiry Model of [1], on the basis of an analysis grid containing the categories and keywords that have been adapted by the authors of the original model. The results obtained show that the teaching presence detected in that forum resulted from the engagement and willingness to learn of the group added to the e-moderator that, throughout the discussion, was always questioning the members and instilling a critical reflection on the topic under consideration.(undefined

    Frequency of functional and muscular changes after head and neck radiation therapy. A cross-sectional study / Frequência de alterações funcionais e musculares após radioterapia de cabeça e pescoço. Um estudo transversal

    Head and neck cancer is considered a mutilating disease, the therapeutic modalities for treatment include surgical, radiotherapeutic and chemotherapeutic procedures. The aim was to evaluate functional and muscular alterations in the head, neck, scapular girdle and upper extremities of individuals with head and neck cancer after radiotherapy. Cross-sectional study with retrospective data. Seventy-one medical charts were selected, analyzing in each of them the routine of the physiotherapeutic diagnosis of patients that includes information about the disease, physical examination and diagnosis of pain and limitation of movement. The results showed muscular alterations in all patients, most of the changes occurred in the area close to the irradiated site, such as the trapezius (90.1%) and pectoral (80.3%) muscles. All patients underwent radiotherapy, 29 (40.8%) used conventional cobalt therapy and 42 (59.2%) intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). The most used dose among the patients was 6,300 cGy. The Bisserial Correlation Test showed a correlation between the dose of radiotherapy and the segments: temporomandibular dysfunction, sternocleidomastoid, trapezius, pectoralis, cervical, shoulder, winged scapula, and sensory alterations. Radiation therapy in head and neck cancer causes functional and muscular changes in the irradiated regions.
