Molecular Physiology of Anaerobic Phototrophic Purple and Green Sulfur Bacteria
There are two main types of bacterial photosynthesis: oxygenic (cyanobacteria) and anoxygenic (sulfur and non-sulfur phototrophs). Molecular mechanisms of photosynthesis in the phototrophic microorganisms can differ and depend on their location and pigments in the cells. This paper describes bacteria capable of molecular oxidizing hydrogen sulfide, specifically the families Chromatiaceae and Chlorobiaceae, also known as purple and green sulfur bacteria in the process of anoxygenic photosynthesis. Further, it analyzes certain important physiological processes, especially those which are characteristic for these bacterial families. Primarily, the molecular metabolism of sulfur, which oxidizes hydrogen sulfide to elementary molecular sulfur, as well as photosynthetic processes taking place inside of cells are presented. Particular attention is paid to the description of the molecular structure of the photosynthetic apparatus in these two families of phototrophs. Moreover, some of their molecular biotechnological perspectives are discussed
Effect of plasma treatment on the release kinetics of a chemotherapy drug from biodegradable polyester films and polyester urethane films
Investigation was made into the effect of plasma treatment on the release kinetics of the drug Temozolomide (TMZ) from thin, biodegradable polyester films, comprising polylactic acid (PLA) and polyester urethane. The authors utilized two systems to achieve this, the first being diffuse coplanar surface barrier discharge, applying air as the gaseous medium, while the other involved capacitively coupled radio frequency discharge plasma under an argon atmosphere with hexamethyldisiloxane. Results showed that both forms of plasma treatment positively reduced the undesirable burst effect and benefited the release rate of TMZ. The hydrolytic degradability of the materials was slightly enhanced following hydrophilization, whereas the same diminished after hydrophobization had taken place. This was especially true for PLA due to modification of its wettability. © 2017 Taylor & Francis.02/0199/14, VEGA, Vedecká Grantová Agentúra MŠVVaŠ SR a SAV; APVV-14-0518, APVV, Agentúra na Podporu Výskumu a Vývoja; QJ1310254, MZe, Ministerstvo Zemědělství; SAV, Slovenská Akadémia Vied; 15-08287Y, GACR, Grantová Agentura České Republiky; CZ.1.05/2.1.00/19.0409; LO1504Czech Science Foundation [15-08287Y]; Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic [QJ1310254]; Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic [LO1504, CZ.1.05/2.1.00/19.0409]; Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic; Slovak Academy of Sciences, as a part of the "VEGA" project [02/0199/14]; Slovak Research and Development Agency [APVV-14-0518
Biological Earth observation with animal sensors
Space-based tracking technology using low-cost miniature tags is now delivering data on fine-scale animal movement at near-global scale. Linked with remotely sensed environmental data, this offers a biological lens on habitat integrity and connectivity for conservation and human health; a global network of animal sentinels of environmen-tal change
Canoe sprint, analysis of racing technique on the C1 (videoprogram)
Another is dedicated to work of muscles during canoe stroke. The main part is about creating DVD, which is aimed on paddling technique on C1

Petr Prochazka, biography of czechoslovakia and czech national team member in canoe sprint
ObhájenoA biography focused on the career of a longtime representative in canoe sprint by Petr Procházka. The thesis is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the canoe sprint is focused mainly on the canoe category. In the practical part is not only the sporting life of Petr Procházka. The last two chapters are devoted to the present life of Petr Procházka

Rationality of the Debtor
This work deals with the indebtedness of consumers. It examines the causes of the debotrs themselves. Based on a secondary analysis of past research in the area of financial literacy, consumer behavior, statistical data, but also of qualitative research in the form of case study seeks to answer the question why the debtor becomes the debtor, the extent to which the indebtedness and indebtedness viewed as rational behavior but also if the debtor is accompanied by rational reasoning or irrational behavior. It concludes that the debtor can not be considered entirely rational. Applied policy then the issue of over-indebtedness problem takes into account the irrational assumptions by the debtor only marginally and does not reflect as one of its main causes
Comparison of ORM frameworks for PHP
This study deals with a comparison of object relational mapping frameworks for PHP program language. On theoretical review, it describes the possibilities of mapping and available design patterns for mapping are presented. Basic principles of object oriented programming and relational databases are surveyed. For a comparison of tools, a model case of a library is suggested and implemented in chosen tools. Based on specified criteria, a comparison of selected frameworks is given. The main goal is to evaluate features of chosen frameworks, demonstrate their usage on the model case of a library and summarize the possibilities of object relational mapping on PHP platform
Causes and consequences of heavy households indebtedness
Bachelor thesis Causes and consequences ofheavy household indebtedness deals over the issue of indebtedness of households in the Czech Republic. Finding the causes and examines the implications of this present phenomenon. The first part defines the trend of household heavy indebtedness, which is almost ten years, an upward trend, and that brings along the risk of insolvency. Furthermore, looking over and defines the causes household indebtedness. To this purpose, using an analysis of various stakeholders of this phenomenon. For each of them analyzes its interests, behavior, the relationship with other stakeholders, but also the possibility of interference with the issue. Finally, it summarizes all the findings and describes the interaction between various stakeholders
