    Pengaruh penggunaan komik digital terhadap minat baca siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Pati

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media komik digital terhadap minat baca mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam kelas V MIN 2 Pati. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data angket, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi karena seluruh siswa kelas V MIN 2 Pati tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 menjadi sampel penelitian. Kelas V A sebanyak 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V B sebanyak 27 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Uji analisis respon siswa penggunaan media komik digital menunjukkan nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dari pada respon siswa penggunaan media buku paket. Dibuktikan dengan rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen sebesar 44,54 dan nilai rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 34,44. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t-tes, diperoleh nilai thitung 5,548 > ttabel 1,675. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media komik digital berpengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam kelas V MIN 2 Pati Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022

    ABSTRAK Qaryah Thayyibah adalah sebuah komunitas belajar yang dibentuk berdasarkan gagasan bersama warga Kalibening Salatiga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan dan memahami lingkungan belajar serta metode pembelajaran yang diusung oleh komunitas belajar Qaryah Thayyibah Salatiga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus. Model pengumpulan data adalah dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi yang kemudian dilaporkan dengan catatan lapangan. Selain itu, peneliti juga menggunakan studi dokumentasi, baik dokumentasi internal maupun eksternal sebagai data pelengkap penelitian. Partisipan penelitian adalah kepala komunitas belajar, pendamping atau guru komunitas belajar, ibu sebagai orangtua wali, beserta satu orang siswa dan satu orang siswi yang merupakan elemen penting dalam keberjalanan proses belajar di Qaryah Thayyibah. Peneliti mendapat partisipan melalui key person, yang mengenal partisipan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah strategi instruksional berpengaruh penting pada lingkungan Qaryah Thayyibah sebagai metode pembelajaran aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa tema dari pola masing-masing partisipan, diantara yakni orientasi dan harapan, kemampuan individu, peran orang dewasa sekitar anak, konsep belajar Qaryah Thayyibah, dan komunitas belajar nonformal.     Family Burden Effect on the Ability in Taking Care of Schizophrenia Patient

    The existence of schizophrenia affects family systems and the ability to care. The study aimed to determine the relationship between family burden and the familial ability to treat schizophrenic patients. The design used was descriptive analysis with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of the family of schizophrenic patients in Menur Mental Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia. In total, 21 respondents were obtained through consecutive sampling. The independent variable was the family burden and the dependent variable was the ability of the family to care for schizophrenic patients. The data was collected using a questionnaire and the results were analyzed using the Spearman Rho correlation test. The results showed that burden has a moderate relationship with the family ability (p = 0.008) (r = 0.656). The subjective burden was greater than the objective one. A lower burden felt by the family will improve their caring abilities. The families should be able to manage their existing and objective goals so then they can treat schizophrenia patients well.     Peningkatan penguasaan mufradat melalui metode Take and Give di MTsN Negeri 1 Pati Jawa Tengah

    This study aims to determine how the application of Take and Give (TG) method in learning Arabic could increase students’ vocabulary mastery at MTs Negeri 1 Pati. This was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, each of which includes 3 stages, namely 1) planning, 2) implementing and observation, and 3) reflection. Data collection techniques were tests and non-tests. While the research instruments were pre-test items, post-test items and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using comparative descriptive technique by comparing the learning outcomes of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. As a result, Take and Give method could be used as an alternative teaching method to learn mufradat (vocabulary). The students’ learning outcome increased significantly from the initial conditions (pre-cycle) with 21.05% KKM completeness, then increased about 47.37% in cycle I and increased again to 92.11% in cycle II. This meets the indicators of success that at least 75% of all students achieve learning mastery

    The emergence of technological sophistication that they are proud of has resulted in the problem of decreasing attitudes and behavior experienced by millennial students. Attitudes caused include a lack of morals, cyberbullying, and gadget addiction. So, changes in behavior must be followed up by Arabic teachers, and the challenge for Arabic teachers in Indonesia is to meet the Era of Society 5.0. This study aims to show that Arabic language teachers and community components must be able to deal with complexities. And teachers must be able to build good and conducive communication with students, parents, and the community. The right step to deal with it is to think and act on a solution because it is part of creative thinking reform. Literature study is one approach in this research. Arabic teachers who think relatively must prepare themselves to face the challenges of society 5.0 using (1) always being optimistic, (2) having a solid work team, (3) being communicative teachers, (4) being hard workers, (5) commitment, (6) simplifying problems, not taking lightly. The author hopes that Arabic language teachers, communities, and stakeholders in Indonesia can together create students with innovative and solutive characters

    Occupational Safety and Health is a right for formal and informal sector workers, as well as for welding. Welding workers are very vulnerable to work accidents due to the lack of knowledge of workers about the importance of K3 for welding. This study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of K3 and the practice of using PPE with the incidence of work accidents in Welding Workshop workers in Madiun Regency. This type of research is an observational quantitative study with a cross-sectional study approach. This research was conducted at the Welfare Workshop in Sangen Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency, East Java. The population in this study was all 35 workers of the Sejahtera Welding Workshop. The sample of this study was the entire working population. The research instrument used a questionnaire and a checklist sheet. Data analysis using Fisher's Exact test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge of K3 (p-value = 0.007) and there was no relationship between the practice of using PPE (p-value = 1) and the incidence of work accidents in Welding Workshop workers in Madiun Regency. It is recommended that workers increase knowledge about K3 and increase awareness of the use of PPE. Welding Bengkel Sejahtera owners provide more complete PPE, provide socialization about K3 to workers and provide sanctions if workers do not use PPE

    This research aims to: (1) develop a LKS based on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), (2) determine the validity of the LKS developed by experts, and (3) measure the effectiveness of its use in MTs 1 Pati. The research methodology used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model developed by Sugiyono, using qualitative (observation and interview) and quantitative (questionnaire and test) data, the population of this research is seventh grade students MTsN 1 Pati with two groups (35 from the control group and 35 from the experimental group). As for the results of this research and development, they are: (1) the production of a LKS for teaching speaking skill based on HOTS; 2) The developed LKS is suitable and valid for use in teaching speaking skill; 3) The developed LKS is “effective” for students in view of the results of the pre-test and the post-test that the value of “t” calculation (t-hitung) is greater than the value of “t” table (t-tabel) means 544.3 > 042,2 At the significance level of 5%, it means H0 is acceptable, and there is an effect of teaching speaking skill

    Peer Group Support on the Treatment Adherence of Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients

    In recent years, pulmonary tuberculosis attracts the global concern as about 1.2 million people died of the disease by 2014. Treatment disobedience is one of the most factors causing the increase in mortality and morbidity rates. This study aimed to identify the effect of peer-group support towards treatment adherence in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. The study used quasi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test groups. The sample was 36 people selected with purposive sampling method. The independent variable was peer group support, while the dependent variable was the treatment adherence. The data were analyzed by Chisquare test and McNemar‘s test. The results of Chi-square test showed that the peer group support had significant effect to treatment adherence in taking medication time sub-variable (p=0.005) and the McNemar‘s showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test in mentioned sub-variable (p=0.004). The results proved that peer group support could affect the medication time adherence on pulmonary tuberculosis patients. It can be concluded that peer group support can be used as an optional intervention to increase the obedience of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment in patients

    The effect of range of motion exercise on blood pressure, pulse and sleep quality among hypertensive patients

    Range of motion exercise is a simple nursing action that has many benefits and is easy to do independently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of range of motion exercise on the blood pressure, pulse and sleep quality of hypertensive patients. This study used quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design, including pre-test and post-test with a control group approach. The total population was 139 patients. A sample of 70 respondents was determined by stratified random sampling according to the inclusion criteria. The independent variable was the range of motion exercise conducted for seven consecutive days. The dependent variables were blood pressure, pulse and sleep quality. Data was obtained through the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) instrument and observation sheet. Research data were analysed using paired t-test and MANOVA. The results showed that the differences between the treatment and control groups were changes in blood pressure (p = 0.00), pulse (p = 0.00) and sleep quality (p = 0.00). MANOVA hypothesis test results obtained p = 0.00.     Family Counselling Enhances Environmental Control of Allergic Patients

    Introduction: Allergies can cause complications such as inadequate nutrition, impaired sleep quality, and inhibition of child growth and development. There were about 15% children who suffered from dust allergies in 2017 in Indonesia. Parents lacking of knowledge about environmental control can increase the prevalence of allergic relapse in children. Counselling is a method of health education that aims to improve knowledge, and practice. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether counselling has any influence on allergic related knowledge and environmental control measures skills. Methods: The design of study was a pre-experiment design. There were 14 respondents in this study who were recruited at a university hospital based on inclusion criteria with consecutive sampling. The independent variable was counselling, the dependent variable were knowledge and environmental control measures. Data were collected using both a questionnaire was developed from the AAAAI and a check list was used to determine parents' skills on environmental controls. Data were analysed using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with significance level of α<0,05. Results: There was an influence of counselling on knowledge and environmental control measures (knowledge level, p= 0,001; practice level p= 0,001).
