Emergency remote teaching at EWB-UFx during coronavirus pandemic: Coping with (di)stres

As coronavirus pandemic has spread all over the world, schools and universities needed to reinvent themselves so that their students could be remotely assisted. In this context, this paper aims to present the experiences of English without Borders Program at the Federal University of XXX with Remote Teaching, highlighting the actions related to the planning sessions, as well as the difficulties teachers and coordinators faced and the adjustments that were necessary. The analysis was carried out using the case study methodology, with teachers’ feedback collected from pedagogical meetings and questionnaires sent by e-mail. The remote teaching modality was contrasted with e-learning, and among the conclusions presented, it was evidenced that the initial difficulties with the promotion of interactions among students were reduced when the feeling of community identity built during the classes was perceived. The teacher training process developed to assist scholarship holders in this new educational scenario was also endorsed as a differential of the program, with the indication that sharing experiences with remote education is necessary so that educators can be prepared for a future surrounded for uncertainties

Universos expandidos : uma questão de integração

Still lacking theoretical definitions, expanded universes are an artistic phenomenon often seen in science fiction literature as well as innarratives in other media. This text proposes a mechanism to explain how these universes come into being. For this, we analyze a series of cases such as Robert A. Heinlen’s Future History, Ursula K. Le Guin’s Hainish Cycle, George R. R. Martin’s Thousand Worlds, Joanna Russ’ Whileaway, and transmedia examples such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Borrowing from Tamar Yacobi’s concept of mechanisms of integration –ways in which the reader makes sense of inconsistencies or oddities in a narrative –we argue that the explanation that two or more independent stories are set in a common universe is a hypothesis generated by the reader to integrate coincidences between these stories.Ainda sem definições teóricas bem delineadas, universos expandidos constituem um fenômeno artístico comum em narrativas de ficção científica, sejam literárias ou em outras mídias. Esse texto propõe um mecanismo para explicar como tais universos se formam, partindo de uma série de exemplos como a História Futura de Robert A. Heinlein, o ciclo Hainish de Ursula K. Le Guin, os Mil Mundos de George R. R. Martin e Whileaway de Joanna Russ, assim como de casos transmidiáticos, como o Universo Cinematográfico Marvel. Nos valemos do conceito de Tamar Yacobi de “mecanismos de integração”, ou seja, as formas que leitores encontram para resolver inconsistências ou estranhezas em narrativas, para argumentar que a explicação de que duas ou mais histórias independentes se passam em um universo ficcional comum constitui uma hipótese do leitor para integrar coincidências encontradas nesses diferentes textos

Dificuldades das organizações no apoio a projectos culturais

Estudos têm sido realizados abordando os efeitos do patrocínio, mas pouco tem sido pesquisado no Brasil a respeito do processo de escolha dos patrocínios por estas organizações. Através de estudos de casos, esta pesquisa identifica quais as principais dificuldades enfrentadas na condução do processo de seleção de projetos culturais. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas com pessoas-chave, cuja experiência no setor foi preponderante para a escolha. O estudo sugere que os principais problemas são gerados devido ao despreparo dos profissionais envolvidos no processo e as falhas de comunicação entre as partes envolvidas, servindo de base para futuras pesquisas, em busca de soluções para as questões aqui levantadas.Projetos Culturais, Seleção de projetos, Patrocínio, Marketing cultural

The agricultural activity possesses expressive relevance for the agriculture of the North region. In relation to the agricultural modernization, the researches are driven in a joined way (national), the one that disables verify, indeed, which the degree of municipal development and which the variables that to impact this development. In a general way, it intends to determine the degree of agricultural modernization in the municipal districts of the North region. A inclusão de surdocegos com o uso da tecnologia assistiva

O presente trabalho foi realizado com apoio da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – Brasil (CAPES) e tem por objetivo evidenciar as práticas de exclusão social de surdocegos por falta de informação. Essas práticas reforçaram a inacessibilidade aos espaços de conhecimento. Esse artigo investiga as práticas de inclusão no espaço escolar e os recursos de tecnologia assistiva que podem ser utilizados. Nesta perspectiva da escola como lugar propicio de desenvolvimento social, algumas questões estão presentes: Quais práticas pedagógicas podem ser utilizadas? Quais recursos de tecnologia assistiva favorecem a promoção de ensino aprendizagem? Do ponto de vista teórico, algumas referências são citadas, dentre elas: Galvão (2010), Bersch (2006/2008),Eustat (1999) e Sartoreto (2010). Este estudo está fundamentado na abordagem qualitativa na modalidade da pesquisa narrativa desenvolvida por Clandinin e Connelly (2015), na perspectiva autobiográfica a partir das percepções de Creswell (2010). O estudo traz possibilidades de atendimento e de reflexões sobre diretrizes legais que favoreçam o acesso ao ensino, além de citar estratégias e recursos de tecnologia assistiva facilitadores. a partir das narrativas das experiências dos participantes. Uma experiência com o uso da Lousa Digital Interativa por profissionais da educação infantil

Diante da grande presença das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) em nossa sociedade, é possível perceber que os ambientes escolares também estão sendo invadidos por diferentes tecnologias, sendo que uma delas é a Lousa Digital Interativa. A PERCEPÇÃO DOS CLIENTES DO BRECHÓ CHIC PEÇA RARA SOBRE A DIMENSÃO DO CONSUMO CONSCIENTE E SUSTENTÁVEL COMO VARIÁVEL INFLUENCIADORA NO COMPORTAMENTO DE ESCOLHA

The present work deals with an exploratory quantitative research on the dimension conscious and sustainable consumption as an influencing variable in the consumers behavior of thrift store Chic Peça Rara. The objective was to demonstrate the relationship between conscious and sustainable consumption among customers of a thrift store in the city of Taguatinga (DF) and in the Brasilia’s store (DF), to identify which variables effectively influence consumers' purchasing decisions, in general consumption and in the specific case of purchase in these thrift stores. In addition to a bibliographic search to conceptualize and define conscious consumption and sustainability, two thrift stores were selected to apply a questionnaire to customers in a purchasing situation, making it possible to observe the consumption profile and record their preferences and quantify the variables that influence the consumer behavior. The research showed that there is a relationship between the concept and the emergence of thrift stores as a motivator for conscious and sustainable consumption, given that consumers perceive sustainable gains and opportunities when carrying out these practices at Asa Sul store. However, at the Taguatinga store, it is known that customers choose the thrift store as an opportunity to purchase quality products and luxury brands with affordable prices.O presente trabalho trata de uma pesquisa quantitativa exploratória sobre a dimensão do consumo consciente e sustentável como variável influenciadora no comportamento dos consumidores do Brechó Chic Peça Rara. Objetivou-se demonstrar a relação entre o consumo consciente e sustentável entre clientes de uma loja do brechó na cidade de Taguatinga (DF) e na loja de Brasília (DF), a fim de identificar quais variáveis influenciam efetivamente na decisão de compra dos consumidores, no consumo em geral e no caso específico de compra nesses brechós. Além de uma pesquisa bibliográfica a fim de conceituar e definir consumo consciente e sustentabilidade foram selecionadas duas lojas do brechó para a aplicação de um questionário aos clientes em situação de compra, possibilitando observar o perfil de consumo, registrar suas preferências e quantificar as variáveis que influenciam no comportamento do consumidor. A pesquisa evidenciou existir relação entre o conceito e o surgimento dos brechós como motivador para o consumo consciente e sustentável tendo em vista que os consumidores percebem ganhos e oportunidades sustentáveis ao realizar essas práticas na Loja da Asa Sul. Entretanto, na loja de Taguatinga constatou-se que os clientes escolhem o brechó como oportunidade de compra de produtos de qualidade e marca de luxo com preços acessíveis

Educational measures to minimize occupational hazards in the ICU nursing staff

Objective: To identify the occupational risks to ICU workers, as well as the risk factors; and to propose educational measures to those risks. Methods: This is an integrative review conducted on the Lilacs, BDENF and Medline databases, after the inclusion and exclusion criteria, six articles were selected. Results: The results indicated biological, chemical, ergonomic, physical and mechanical hazards, the presence of occupational risks and occupational risk factors that influence the routine and the development of the nursing team's work. Studies show few educational measures in order to mitigate these types of risks to workers. Conclusion: All occupational hazards are present in the ICU, but the ergonomic risk is responsible for the higher rates in the polls showing stress as a major consequence. Continuing education permeates the educational proposals to minimize occupational hazards
