Farmers' Demand for Information about Agribusiness

This study is focused on the habits of the Brazilian farmers that access the Internet for searching information to their economical activities. The main goal is to understand how come those agents of the agribusiness use the formal and informal (personal contact) means of communication, as well as the functions that each of those means accomplish to this public. In other words, it intends to identify the channels of communication of major importance to farmers (used more often, considered the ones of more credibility and preferred among them). That is possible by means of a questionnaire sent exclusively by e-mail, answered by Brazilian farmers. The motivation of the study is to contribute to make the communication more efficient to those who work on farms. That can produce benefits to the communication companies and to the public. The results show that the Internet is the mean of communication more often used and preferred on the process of searching information about the agribusiness among Brazilian farmers. The personal contact, not considered in the valuation about preference, appears in second position in the ranking for intensity of use. On the other hand, the radio, regional press newspapers and newsletters of class entities were the less consulted and the last ones in the ranking of preference.Agribusiness, Teaching/Communication/Extension/Profession,

O Direito Internacional dos Refugiados em xeque: refugiados ambientais e econômicos

O presente artigo tem por escopo uma breve análise sobre o documento legal de excelência do Direito Internacional dos Refugiados, a Convenção Relativa ao Estatuto dos Refugiados de 1951, bem como questionar a sua adequação em face da nova realidade contemporânea no tocante à problemática dos refugiados. Advoga-se, neste sentido, a necessidade de ampliação deste diploma diante de dois exemplos – não exaustivos – de grupos de migrantes forçados que deveriam gozar da proteção do instituto universal do refúgio e que não o fazem por não se enquadrarem na definição formal trazida pela Convenção de 1951, quais sejam, os refugiados ambientais e os refugiados econômicos, estes últimos também chamados refugiados da fome.   This article aims at a brief analysis of the legal document on excellence of the International Refugee Law, the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees of 1951, as well as questioning its adequacy in light of new contemporary reality of refugee problems. Thus, the extension of this law is advocated in face of two examples – non exhaustive - of groups of forced migrants who should be under protection of the Universal Institute for Refugees but who are not protected because they do not comply with the formal definition brought by the Convention of 1951, i.e., the environmental and the economic refugees, these last also called hunger refugees

Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Curricular Obrigatório em Oftalmologia Veterinária

Medicina Veterinária.O estágio curricular é extremamente importante para o aprendizado e fixação dos conteúdos vistos durante toda a graduação pelo aluno. Neste momento, o estagiário estará de frente com as possíveis casuísticas que atenderá futuramente, podendo aprender na prática inúmeros procedimentos, além de conseguir observar como pode se portar na frente de tutores e passar as informações de forma prática para que todos consigam entender. Este relatório foi feito com base no local de estágio realizado, sendo ele na área de Oftalmologia Veterinária na Clínica Lovely Dog, localizada em Florianópolis-SC, sendo este apresentado ao curso de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, fazendo parte de um dos requisitos para a conclusão do curso. O estágio ocorreu no período de 04 de janeiro de 2021 à 30 de abril de 2021, tendo como supervisor de estágio o Dr. Thiago Alegre Coelho Ferreira e orientador o Prof. Dr. Álvaro Menin, e contabilizando 560 horas. O objetivo deste é relatar as casuísticas, procedimentos e treinamentos realizados durante o estágio, assim como fazer uma breve introdução sobre o funcionamento e instalações do local.The curricular internship is extremely important for the learning and fixation of the contents seen during the entire graduation of the student. At this point, the intern will be facingthe possible casuistry that he will attend in the future, being able to learn in practice numerous procedures, in addition to being able to observe how he can behave in front of tutors and pass on the information in a practical way so everyone can understand. This report was made based on the internship location, in the area of Veterinary Ophthalmology at the Lovely Dog Clinic, located in Florianópolis-SC, which was presented to the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, being part of the requirements for the conclusion of the course. The internship took place from January 4, 2021 to April 30, 2021, with Dr. Thiago Alegre Coelho Ferreira as intership supervisor and teacher Dr. Álvaro Menin, as advisor accounting 560 hours. Luxfagia : um modus operandi instaurativo

Luxfagia desenvolve, a partir da metodologia poética da antropofagia por outra via (CLARK, 1969), reflexões sobre minha trajetória prática de caráter transdisciplinar. A ideia de que a luz existe como matéria (CARTAXO, 2006) dialoga diretamente com a energia espacializante da cor, que ganha corpo através da diluição estrutural do ambiente e de um redirecionamento do olhar na vivência da arte. Além das analogias referentes a expansividade e propagação da luz, este estudo trata do deslocamento da sensação colorante (DELEUZE, 2007) para o espaço arquitetônico. Ainda, no contexto das telepresenças, busco novos modos de germinação no território online e a consequente multiplicação constituinte do eu enquanto artista, através dos desdobramentos das imagens nas redes. Estabeleço, portanto, um modus operandi instaurativo que busca responder a seguinte questão: qual é a operação que engendra a tripla relação entre a cor, o corpo e o espaço?Luxfagia develops, from the poetic methodology of anthropophagy in another way (CLARK, 1969), reflections on my practical trajectory of a transdisciplinary character. The idea that light exists as matter (CARTAXO, 2006) dialogues directly with the spatializing energy of color, which gains body through the structural dilution of the environment and a redirection of the gaze in the experience of art. In addition to the analogies related to expansiveness and light propagation, this study deals with the displacement of the coloring sensation (DELEUZE, 2007) to the architectural space. Still, in the context of telepresences, I look for new ways of germination in the online territory and the consequent multiplication of the self as an artist, through the unfolding of images on the networks. I establish, therefore, an instaurative modus operandi that seeks to answer the following question: what is the operation that engenders the triple relationship between color, body and space

Votar ou não votar? : um estudo sobre o reconhecimento do direito de voto para refugiados

Dissertação (mestrado)—Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade de Direito, 2013.O presente trabalho almeja discutir o direito de sufrágio, manifesto na capacidade eleitoral ativa, vale dizer, no exercício do direito de voto, por parte de refugiados, imigrantes que, por conta de um fundado temor de perseguição deixam seus Estados de origem. São discutidas questões como a emergência de uma comunidade internacional e a subsistência do Estado, no plano interno e internacional, como um espaço de concretização de direitos fundamentais. Também é alvo de discussão a construção histórica da cidadania atrelada à nacionalidade e a politização da vida natural. Em seguida, são debatidas propostas para a afirmação de uma cidadania pautada em critérios outros que não, necessariamente, na nacionalidade. Mais que isso, o trabalho explora experiências já realizadas em diversos Estados no tocante ao reconhecimento do direito de voto a estrangeiros regularmente residentes e foca sua análise sobre essa questão na condição especial de vulnerabilidade dos refugiados, que os diferencia dos imigrantes em geral. Por fim, o trabalho desenvolve experiência de pesquisa empírica consistente em entrevistas a refugiados e membros do Conare (Comitê Nacional para Refugiados). ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis essay aims to discuss the right of suffrage, manifested through the active electoral capacity, i.e., the exercise of the right to vote, by refugees, immigrants who, because of a well-founded fear of persecution, leave their countries of origin. This work discusses issues such as the emerging of an international community and subsistence of the State, both on domestic and international spheres, as a space of achievements of fundamental rights. Also under discussion is the historical construction of citizenship tied to nationality and the politicization of natural life. Hereupon, the work confers some proposals for the affirmation of a citizenship based on other criteria that not necessarily on nationality. More than that, the work explores experiments already performed in several States regarding the recognition of the right to vote to foreign regular residents and focuses its analysis regarding this issue on the special condition of vulnerability of refugees, which differentiates them from immigrants in general. Finally, the essay develops an experience of empirical research consisting of interviews of refugees and members of Conare (National Committee for Refugees)

Ultrassonografia Ocular e Biomicroscopia Ultrassônica na Oftalmologia Veterinária: Revisão de Literatura

Medicina Veterinária.A ultrassonografia ocular é um exame amplamente distribuído na rotina clínica oftalmológica veterinária, sendo de extrema importância para avaliação das estruturas intraoculares e tecidos adjacentes ao globo ocular, como o tecido retrobulbar, que não pode ser avaliado nos exames oftalmológicos clínicos. Se trata de um exame indispensável quando as estruturas intraoculares não podem ser avaliadas clinicamente por algum motivo que impeça a visualização das mesmas, como opacidade da córnea, catarata e blefaroedema grave. Com a ultrassonografia ocular convencional (modo-B amplamente utilizado) pode-se avaliar todo o globo ocular, porém, sua resolução não é boa para avaliar estruturas da região anterior do olho. Estas estruturas necessitam da biomicroscopia ultrassônica para serem avaliadas, sendo um exame ultrassonográfico de alta frequência, levando a imagens microscópicas de alta resolução, porém seu poder de penetração é baixo, logo os dois exames são complementares entre si.A biomicroscopia ultrassônica (UBM) consegue detalhar toda a região anterior do globo ocular, desde as camadas da córnea até, em média, a região equatorial da lente, sendo possível, inclusive, avaliar o ângulo iridocorneal e os ligamentos zonulares. Estes exames associados permitem uma avaliação completa das estruturas anatômicas do olho e com isso o diagnóstico de inúmeras patologias oculares, incluindo de glaucoma.Ocular ultrasound is an exam widely distributed in the veterinary ophthalmological clinical routine, being extremely important for the assessment of intraocular structures and tissues adjacent to the eyeball, such as retrobulbar tissue, which cannot be evaluated in clinical eye exams. This is an indispensable test when intraocular structures cannot be evaluated clinically for any reason that prevents them from being seen, such as corneal opacity, cataracts and severe blepharoedema. With conventional ocular ultrasound (B-mode widely used), the entire eyeball can be evaluated, but it is resolution is not good for evaluating structures in the anterior region of the eye. These structures require ultrasound biomicroscopy to be evaluated, being a high frequency ultrasound exam, leading to high resolution microscopic images, however their penetrating power is low, so the two exams are complementary to each other. The ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) is able to detail the entire anterior region of the eyeball, from the layers of the cornea to, on average, the equatorial region of the lens, and it is even possible to assess the iridocorneal angle and zonular ligaments. These associated examinations allow a complete assessment of the anatomical structures of the eye and, therefore, the diagnosis of numerous ocular pathologies, including glaucoma

Rosa Pangéia : crise cor criação

Minha pesquisa, ROSA PANGEIA, crise cor e criação, tem por objetivo pensar o processo de criação nas artes visuais, considerando a imagem como uma rede de significados. Na direção de um estudo da cor e seu cosmos afetivo, em paralelo às multilinguagens do campo visual. Como referências teóricas trago Didi-Huberman, que fala sobre a emoção como movimento para fora de si; Gilles Deleuze, sobre a captura e o pensamento-artista; e ainda Suely Rolnik, quanto à liberdade de experimentação e improvisação de novos territórios. Mulher, antropofagia, crise de subjetividade. Entendo que a arte ser- ve como local de fala, espaço de liberdade e construção de si, propor- cionando a experiência do exílio, de poder falar outra língua. Metodologicamente, este trabalho desenha-se na cartografia do processo artista, que vai desde a teoria/pensamento a experimentação/realização e por fim a exposição/ confrontação. Pergunto: qual a relação desses procedimentos com a produção de conhecimento? Que tipo de saber é esse que passa pela matéria e chega ao sensorial? O instante da criação de um mundo outro: é nele que alcança-se novos significados, num jogo constante de visibilidade e invisibilidade.My research, PINK PANGEA, color crisis and creation, aims to think the process of creation in the visual arts, considering the image as a network of meanings. In the direction of a study of color and its affective cosmos, parallel to the multilanguage of the visual field. As theoretical references I bring Didi-Huberman, who thinks about emotion as a movement out of itself; Gilles Deleuze, on the capture and the thought- -artist; and Suely Rolnik, regarding the freedom of experimentation and improvisation of new territories. I assume that art serves as a place of speech, an area of freedom and self-construction, providing the experience of exile, of being able to speak another language. What is the relation of these procedures to the production of knowledge? What kind of knowledge is this that passes through matter and reaches the sensory? O direito internacional dos refugiados sob o impacto da soberania estatal na contemporaneidade

O presente trabalho acadêmico tem por escopo investigar os reflexos da soberania estatal sobre o Direito Internacional dos Refugiados na contemporaneidade. Para tanto, intenta-se uma análise dos antecedentes históricos deste sistema de proteção internacional à pessoa humana, bem como suas principais estruturas, de que são exemplos a Convenção Relativa ao Estatuto dos Refugiados de 1951 e o princípio do non-refoulement, dito pedra angular do Direito Internacional dos Refugiados. Num segundo momento, pretende-se o estudo acerca do tema da soberania estatal, como este elemento se tornou fundante do Estado Moderno e qual sua atual configuração no sistema internacional do século XXI, globalização e interdependência. Por último, o trabalho almeja a apuração dos efeitos do apego à concepção tradicional de soberania estatal sobre o Direito Internacional dos Refugiados na atualidade

A Diretiva do Retorno no Contexto das Políticas Migratórias Contemporâneas

O presente artigo apresenta como escopo a análise do fenômeno de restrição à imigração, no início do século XXI. Para tanto, intenta-se, preliminarmente, uma breve retrospectiva histórica dos movimentos migratórios, e das correspondentes políticas concernentes ao tema adotadas pelos Estados envolvidos, além da apuração de alguns fatores que podem explicar a adoção de políticas migratórias restritivas. Ademais, o trabalho pretende realizar um breve estudo da denominada Diretiva do Retorno, documento legislativo no âmbito da União Européia, que sinaliza a acentuação do fenômeno de restrição severa à imigração
