Comparando la informatividad textual desde el paradigma traductológico del funcionalismo

The functional model of Hulst (1995) is one of the best instruments to analyse translation products in relation with their originals. It takes into account not only pragmatic approaches and models for translation oriented text analysis (Nord, 1991; Reiss, 1971; House, 1977 among others) but also theories in the field of texts linguistics, discourse studies and other functional theories on language use. One of its methodological contributions is to analyse informativity (cf. Beaugrande & Dressler, 1981) between texts. In this presentation, the model will be described and applied in relation with informativity by means of an example analysis to show its effectiveness.El modelo funcional de Hulst (1995) constituye uno de los instrumentos más eficaces para analizar los productos de traducción en relación con sus textos originales. Dicho modelo no solo toma en cuenta enfoques pragmáticos y modelos traslativos orientados hacia el análisis textual (entre otros, Nord, 1991; Reiss, 1971; House, 1977) sino también aspectos teóricos procedentes de la lingüística del texto, el análisis del discurso y otras teorías funcionalistas basadas en la lengua en uso. Una de sus contribuciones metodológicas consiste en analizar y comparar la informatividad (Beaugrande & Dressler, 1981) entre textos. En el presente artículo se describirá el modelo en relación con la informatividad y se aplicará a un caso de estudio para demostrar su eficacia

Norms, memes and cognitive schemes: constructing meaning in translation teaching

The concept of “meme” proposed by Chesterman (1997; 2000) describes the activity of translation as the spreading of ideas towards other cultures by means of the addition of new texts. The memetic metamorphosis is the reflection of a mental process in which the translator creates the interaction of the cognitive schemes of the target culture with those of the source culture. The overlapping of schemes is also ruled by the mental representation of a “cognitive scheme of cooperation between actors” (cf. Risku 1998: 52) established by the translator. This scheme of cooperation is based on certain norms of meaning negotiation and, therefore, conditions the translators mental representation of the “projected source text” (cf. Hönig 1997: 51). Negotiation of meaning in translation can exist – micro- and macro-strategically – at different textual levels, and this negotiation of meaning that exists in the cultural overlapping of cognitive schemes enables intercultural communication. The idea of “scheme” proposed in the present paper, in relation to “translational norms” (Toury 1995) and “memes” (Chesterman 1997), is partially based on Eco’s cognitive semantics (1999) and it serves as a useful theoretical construct for negotiating meaning in translation teaching. We will further describe how texts change when they are translated by means of an example to show the effectiveness of this theory

En esta comunicación presentaremos, en primer lugar, un marco teórico en el que se abordarán conceptos relacionados con la competencia estratégica y, en segundo lugar, nos detendremos en dos secuencias retiradas de una investigación de tipo cualitativo en la que se ha analizado la producción oral de un alumno lusófono de E/LE. Mejorar la oralidad de un alumno lusófono de E/LE a través del análisis de su interlengua

Presentaremos brevemente un marco teórico en el que desarrollaremos conceptos como interlengua (IL), el tratamiento del error en clase de Español como Lengua Extranjera (E/LE) y la clasificación de errores según diferentes criterios psicolingüísticos. Ya en la parte práctica, realizaremos un análisis cualitativo de la IL de un alumno lusófono de E/LE en Portugal y crearemos un corpus lingüístico que nos servirá para identificar y catalogar los tipos de errores que aparecen. Principales efectos y ventajas del uso de las nuevas tecnologías en campañas electorales

En la última década, la comunicación online se ha convertido en uno de los pilares de la comunicación empresarial debido a que, entre otras cosas, es una manera fácil y rápida de conectar con el público objetivo deseado (y sobre todo con los más jóvenes) a cualquier hora del día y sin intermediarios que puedan manipular el mensaje. Los partidos políticos también han empezado a utilizar estos medios para interactuar con sus seguidores y, sobre todo en campañas electorales, fomentar la movilización de sus adeptos. Debido a que es un tema muy novedoso y que aún está en plena expansión, no hay muchas investigaciones al respecto y, las existentes, se centran en las elecciones norteamericanas. Este artículo trata de poner de manifiesto la importancia que estos nuevos canales están adquiriendo dentro de la comunicación política en nuestro país, analizando el uso de las nuevas tecnologías por parte de los dos principales partidos políticos (PSOE y PP) durante las últimas elecciones generales y, de esta forma, abrir una línea de estudios en esta dirección.In the last decade, online communication has become a cornerstone of business communication because, among other things, is a quick and easy way to connect to the desired target audience (and especially the younger ones) at any time of day and without intermediaries that can manipulate the message. Political parties have also begun to use these means to interact with their fans and, especially in election campaigns, promote the mobilization of its supporters. Because it is a new way of communication and is still expanding, not much research has done in this field and, the existing ones, focus on the U.S. elections. This article aims to highlight the importance of these new channels are gaining in political communication in Spain, analyzing the use of new technologies by the two main political parties (PSOE and PP) during the last general elections and , thus opening a line of studies in this direction.Dans la dernière decade, la communication on line est devenue un des piliers de la communication des entreprises du au fait que, entre autres, elle est une manière facile et rapide à contacter avec le public objectif souhaité (et surtout avec ceux plus jeunes) à toute heure du jour et sans des intermédiaires qui peuvent manipuler le message. Les partis politiques ont aussi commencé à utiliser ces moyens pour interagir avec leurs partisans et, surtout dans des campagnes électorales, favoriser la mobilisation de leurs versés. Du au fait de la nouveauté du sujet et qu’il est encore en pleine expansion, il n’y a pas beaucoup de recherches et, ce qui se sont faites, se centrent auxs élections américaines. Novel Findings about Double-Loaded Curcumin-in-HPβcyclodextrin-in Liposomes: Effects on the Lipid Bilayer and Drug Release

In this study, the encapsulation of curcumin (Cur) in “drug-in-cyclodextrin-in-liposomes (DCL)” by following the double-loading technique (DL) was proposed, giving rise to DCL–DL. The aim was to analyze the effect of cyclodextrin (CD) on the physicochemical, stability, and drug-release properties of liposomes. After selecting didodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDAB) as the cationic lipid, DCL–DL was formulated by adding 2-hydroxypropyl-α/β/γ-CD (HPβCD)–Cur complexes into the aqueous phase. A competitive effect of cholesterol (Cho) for the CD cavity was found, so cholesteryl hemisuccinate (Chems) was used. The optimal composition of the DCL–DL bilayer was obtained by applying Taguchi methodology and regression analysis. Vesicles showed a lower drug encapsulation efficiency compared to conventional liposomes (CL) and CL containing HPβCD in the aqueous phase. However, the presence of HPβCD significantly increased vesicle deformability and Cur antioxidant activity over time. In addition, drug release profiles showed a sustained release after an initial burst effect, fitting to the Korsmeyer-Peppas kinetic model. Moreover, a direct correlation between the area under the curve (AUC) of dissolution profiles and flexibility of liposomes was obtained. It can be concluded that these “drug-in-cyclodextrin-in-deformable” liposomes in the presence of HPβCD may be a promising carrier for increasing the entrapment efficiency and stability of Cur without compromising the integrity of the liposome bilayer
