    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) pengaruh penggunaan internet, motivasi berprestasi dan teman sebaya secara secara parsial dan simultan terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa, (2) perbedaan penggunaan internet, motivasi berprestasi, teman sebaya dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa berdasarakan pendidikan orangtua dan jenis kelamin siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri atas hasil belajar, penggunaan internet, motivasi berprestasi, dan teman sebaya siswa SMAN kota Yogyakarta. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, regresi ganda dan ANOVA. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan internet, motivasi berprestasi dan teman sebaya secara parsial dan simultan terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. (2) a.) tidak terdapat perbedaan penggunaan internet, motivasi berprestasi, teman sebaya dan hasil belajar berdasarkan pendidikan orangtua siswa dan, b.) terdapat perbedaan penggunaan internet, motivasi berprestasi, teman sebaya dan hasil belajar berdasarkan jenis kelamin siswa.

    Sedimentary Facies of Seblat Formation Semaka Districts, Lampung, Indonesia

    Seblat Formation had been exposed in Sedayu village, Lampung. Stratigraphic measurements and detailed description at several outcrops was performed on Seblat Formation. The facies of Seblat Formation base on sedimentological study can be divided into to two facies, classical turbidtes and slump. Classical turbidites in study area characterized by monotonous sandstone intercalated with mudstone and slump facies consist of mudstone and fine-grained sandstone with total thickness around 5 meters and the thickness of each layer ranges from 3-13 centimeters. Based on two sedimentary facies, mid fan (smooth-channelled) and inner fan is proposed for Seblat Formation

    Evaluation of Nuitritional Properties of Yellow Oleander (Thevetia Peruviana) Seeds in Kenya

    The Yellow oleander (Thevetia peruviana), is a potential oil seed and a good alternative source of nutrition for food and animal feeds.   The seeds of Yellow oleander from four geographical regions (Busia, Bondo, Thika (JKUAT) and Mombasa districts) in Kenya were subjected to a nutritional value study. The oil and the defatted seed cake were analyzed for nutritional values (fatty acids, proteins, minerals, fibre, and carbohydrates). Fatty acid characterization of the oil was done by GC. Minerals analysis was performed using AAS and flame photometer.  The crude protein content of the defatted cake was determined by semi-micro Kjeldahl method.  Carbohydrates values were determined by difference. Data analysis was done by SPSS program.  The results showed that the nutritional values of these seeds were similar to those of other common oil seeds and did not depend on the climatic regions

    A thesis oral defence is the culmination of research enquiryon a specific subject or project. The defence provides an opportunity for presentation and sustained argument in support of the findings. This is preceded by examination of the thesis by indipendent nominated examiners who do not communicate on the work as they grade the thesis. The examiners look for soundness of the methodology applied in research, its originality creativity, innovativeness, mpact to the fieldof the study and finally its suitability for the degree award. This presentation examines the completion process that culminates in the defence, in camera or in public, to a panel of examinerschosen by the university. The defence provides an opportunityfor final improvement of the thesiswith the candidate demonstratingthe understanding of the topic of research, the contribution of the research work to knowledge, whereas the panelof examinersenrich the final document by offering their indipendent expert opinion on the enquiry and to finally provide swift and just judgement of the work. Sectioins of methodology, findings and the critical approach used by the candidate in relating the findings to existing knowledge in the field of study, ditermine the quality of the work. Conclusions should show the significance and impact of the research product that also support applicable recommendations

    Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Digital Berbasis STEM untuk Meningkatkan Kemandirian Belajar

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan Modul Digital berbasis STEM.; 2) Mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik terhadap Modul Digital berbasis STEM; 3) Mendeskripsikan efektivitas Modul Digital berbasis STEM; 4) Mendeskripsikan pengaruh Modul Digital berbasis STEM terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Data yang diperoleh selama pengembangan bahan ajar digital, kemudian akan dianalisis oleh peneliti dengan tahapan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif ini diperoleh dari pengumpulan data dari observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis kuantitatif dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan kualitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian dari validator ahli. Berdasarkan hasil validasi para ahli, Modul Digital berbasis STEM yang dikembangkan dalam kategori layak, respon peserta didik terhadap kepraktisan Modul Digital berbasis STEM dalam kategori layak, berdasarkan uji gain score  sebesar 0,53 terdapat peningkatan kemandirian, dan berdasarkan hasil paired samples test sebesar 0,012 terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Modul Digital terhadap kemandirian belajar. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Digital berbasis STEM efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar

    Comparison of Learning Outcomes Between Using PBL And TAI Viewed From Student’s Motivation

    This study aims to find out: (1) the differences of learning outcomes between student’s learning by using PBL model and student’s who learn to use TAI model, (2) the difference of the learning outcome between the use of PBL model and TAI model at learners who have high learning motivation, (3) the difference of the learning outcome between the use of PBL model and TAI model at learners who have low learning motivation and (4) the interaction effect between of learning models and student’s motivation to learning outcomes. This was a quasi-experimental research study employing the factorial 2x2 design. The research population is the XI grade social class of SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik, totaling 94 student's. The sample was selected using simple random sampling technique. The data analysis used the variant analysis (Anava) two way with significance level of (ɑ) 0.05
