    The Effect of Situational Leadership Behavior Organizational Culture and Human Resources Management Strategy on Education and Training Institution Productivity (Survey on Educational and Vocational Training Institutions in West Java Province)

    The aim of this research is to analyze: situational leadership behavior, organizational culture and productivity of vocational training institutes in west Java Province. The correlation between situational leadership behavior and organizational culture at vocational training institutes, the effect of situational leadership behavior and organizational culture toward productivity of vocational training institutes in west Java Province. This research uses organizational behavior and human resources management approach. The type of the research is descriptive and verificative, while the method used both descriptive and explanatory survey. Investigation type is casualty and time horizon in cross sectional. The sample size used is proportionate sampling by taking sample 115 vocational training institute of spread over 19 locations totally, all its population counted 719 vocational training institutes in west Java Province. The data analyzed by descriptive analytic and path analysis. The result of research shows, 1) situational leadership behavior and organizational culture in generalities, rather high score and the productivity at vocational training institutes to society, cooperation with company or industry in training program development, and placement of training graduate assessed by rather low, 2) there is correlation which significant between situational leadership behavior and organizational at vocational training institutes in west Java Province, 3) situational leadership behavior, organizational culture has significant effect simultaneously and partially productivity of vocational training institutes in west Java Province

This approach influenced the educated people's competence, and subsequently, attitudes towards others within their locality and global arena. The study aims to investigate the role of the English Language in Nigerian Development. This paper argues that English as the Nigerian official language is well accepted due to the multi-lingual state of Nigeria. The study observes that English language is a political and social element in the process of building, unification, and maintaining the Nigerian state and as an essential element of national development. This study contributes to the understanding of multi-lingual nations and supports the research literature which shows that English language plays a significant role in unifying multi-lingual Nigeria

    Generally all devise used in industrial, commercial and residential applications need to undergo rectification for their proper functioning and operation. It connected to the non-linear loads which results in production of non-sinusoidal line current. Due to the increasing demand of these devices, the line current non-sinusoidal pose a major problem by degrading the power factor of the system thus affecting the performance of the devices. Hence there is a need to reduce the line current non-sinusoidal so as to improve the power factor of the system and led to designing of Power Factor Correction circuits. Power Factor Correction (PFC) involves two techniques, Active PFC and Passive PFC. In our project work we have designed an active power factor circuit using Buck Converter for improving the power factor. The advantage of using Buck Converter in power factor correction circuits is that better line regulation is obtained with appreciable power factor. Simulation and experimental are conducted to validate the theoretical analysis. The results show that the power factor can be improved

    Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa data cros-section PAD tahun pengamatan 2006. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui seberapa besar pengaruhu variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen dengan melihat koefesien regresi yang merupakan nilai elastisitas dari masig-masing variabel. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pertanian, Pertambangan dan Penggalian, Industri Pengolahan, Listrik, Gas dan Air Bersih, Bangunan, Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restoran, Pengangkutan dan Komunikasi, Keuangan, Persewaan dan Jasa Perusahaan, Jasa-jasa dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah di setiap kabupaten /kota Propinsi Nanggoe Aceh Darussalam tahun 2006. Sedangkan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier dengan metode OLS (Ordinary Least Square). Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi Uji Asumi Klasik menyatakan bahwa dalam variabel tidak terdapat masalah multikolinieritas yang serius. Untuk Uji Heteroskedastisitas tidak ditemukan masalah dalam model. Uji Normalitas menunjukkan distribusi ut normal. Sedangkan Uji Spesifikasi Model dengan uji ramsey – reset menunjukkan model yang digunakan tidak linier. Hasil Uji Kelayakan model nilai koefesien determinasi (R2) adalah 0,710 atau 71%. Hal ini berarti 71% variasi variabel dependen dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi variabel independen. Nilai signifikansi statistik Fhitung sebesar 2,719 lebih besar dari Ftabel (0,10;9;11) = 0,43 yang berarti sembilan sektor atau sembilan variabel tersebut di tiap kabupaten/kota secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah di setiap kabupaten/kota. Sehingga model yang digunakan eksis. Hasil Uji t diketahui bahwa variabel pertanian tiap kabupaten/kota, memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah di setiap kabupaten/kota pada derajat kepercayaan 90%, serta variabel Pertambangan dan Penggalian tiap kabupaten/kota memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah di setiap kabupaten/kota pada derajat kepercayaan 95%

    ABSTRACT ISKANDAR. The Influence of Work Environment and Work Motivation With Performance at PT Tri Dokumindo Jakarta. This study aims to determine whether ther is the influence of work environment and work motivation with performance at employees PT Tri Dokumindo Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months from Maret to Juni 2013. The research method used is survey method with the causality approach. The study population was all employees of PT Tri Dokumindo Jakarta as much as 79 employees. The sample used as many as 65 employees by using proportional random sampling. Data variable performance is a secondary data obtained from the value performance of periode mounths from January to Juni 2013. While the data variable work environment questionnaire-shaped instrument used. For the data variable work motivation questionnaire-shaped instrument used. Prior to use, tested the validity of contruct (construct validity) through the validation process of calculating the correlation coefficient score point with a total score and reliability testing with alpha cronbach. The result of the reliability of the instrument variable work environment of 0,900 and variable work motivation of 0,899. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 17.0 begins with finding the test requirements analysis test for normality using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method and obtained values of work environment is 0,200, work motivation is 0,200, performance is 0,200, and residual is 0,200 which are all more than the 0,05, it can be concluded the data work environment with performance has a linear relationship linearly. Structural equation obtained is Y = 0,382X 1 + 0,298 X2 + 0,668e 2 and R 2 yx2 x 1 = 0,332 with X2 = 0,425 X1 + 0,967 e 1 dan R 2 x 2 x 1 = 0,181.Test the hypothesis that the F test in ANOVA table produces Fcount (15,414) > Ftable (1,67), this means that performance. T test produce tcount of work environment is (2,601) > ttable . Is 1,67 and tcount of work motivation is (2,601) > ttable . Is 1,67. Because tcount > ttable , it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the work environment and work motivation with performance. The result of these studies concluded that there is a positive influence between work environment and work motivation with performance. Then a coefficient of determination of test result obtained 33,2%, variable performance determined by work environment and work motivation.     Pelaksanaan kebijakan tukar-menukar dan pelepasan kawasan hutan untuk kepentingan nonkehutanan, sarat dengan pelanggaran dan penyimpangan dan tidak menerapkan prinsip hukum pelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup. Kebijakan demikian ini diyakini penulis menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab kerusakan kawasan hutan, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian atau pengkajian, guna menganalisis isu hukum terkait dengan tukar-menukar dan pelepasan kawasan hutan dimaksud. Pendekatan penelitian dilakukan secara yuridis normatif. Sifat penelitian deskriptif yuridis analitis. Bentuk penelitian yaitu preskriptif. Tahapan penelitian yaitu: melakukan identifikasi dan inventarisasi bahan hukum; pengumpulan bahan hukum utama (primer, sekunder, dan tersier) dan data penunjang berupa informasi dari beberapa informan sebagai nara sumber; pengolahan bahan hukum, baik bahan hukum utama maupun data penunjang, yaitu dengan melakukan klasifikasi dan verifikasi; dan analisis bahan hukum dilakukan secara yuridis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa terhadap kawasan hutan yang telah dilakukan tukar-menukar dan pelepasan untuk kepentingan nonkehutanan pada kenyataannya banyak yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, bahkan lahan tersebut ditelantarkan, tidak segera diikuti dengan perizinan dalam bentuk HGU, dan pengusaha tidak memenuhi kewajiban penyediaan areal lahan pengganti, serta adanya pelanggaran kewenangan, prosedur dan substansi atas ketentuan kehutanan oleh pejabat terkait

Endometriosis sering terjadi pada wanita usia reproduktif namun belum dapat dijelaskan secara pasti patogenesis terjadinya endometriosis.
