Intertwining Symmetry Algebras of Quantum Superintegrable Systems

We present an algebraic study of a kind of quantum systems belonging to a family of superintegrable Hamiltonian systems in terms of shape-invariant intertwinig operators, that span pairs of Lie algebras like $(su(n),so(2n))$ or $(su(p,q),so(2p,2q))$. The eigenstates of the associated Hamiltonian hierarchies belong to unitary representations of these algebras. It is shown that these intertwining operators, related with separable coordinates for the system, are very useful to determine eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Hamiltonians in the hierarchy. An study of the corresponding superintegrable classical systems is also included for the sake of completness

Is Sexual Attraction Independent of the Instrumental and Expressive Traits?

Sexual attraction is an essential part of sex, just as the instrumental and expressive traits are the mainstay of gender. Various hypotheses concerning the dimensionality and independence versus dependence/overlapping of these core entities were tested. A group of 423 university students completed the Sexual Attraction Questionnaire (SAQ; Fernández, Quiroga, & Rodríguez, 2006) and the 12-item Bem Sex Role Inventory (BSRI; Bem, 1974). Internal consistency and factor analyses (PAF) were conducted. The results support the dimensionality established for the SAQ and reveal some psychometric and conceptual weaknesses of the 12-item BSRI. The results also support the independence of the two cores: sexual attraction and the instrumental and expressive traits. The logical implications for the different viewpoints of the relations between sex and gender are discussed.Uno de los núcleos básicos de la realidad del sexo es la atracción sexual, al igual que uno de los núcleos básicos de género hace referencia a los dominios instrumental y expresivo. En este trabajo se van a poner a prueba las distintas hipótesis sobre la dimensionalidad de la atracción sexual y de los dominios instrumental y expresivo, a la par que la hipótesis de la independencia frente a la dependencia o solapamiento de ambas realidades. Se contó para ello con la participación de 423 estudiantes universitarios. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario de Atracción Sexual (CAS; Fernández, Quiroga, & Rodríguez, 2006) y la versión de 12 ítems del Bem Sex Role Inventory (BSRI; Bem, 1974). Los resultados proporcionaron un claro apoyo empírico a la dimensionalidad establecida para el SAQ, a la par que dejaron al descubierto ciertas debilidades conceptuales y psicométricas del BSRI. Los resultados apoyan la independencia de los dos núcleos: la atracción sexual y los dominios instrumental y expresivo. Se establecen las implicaciones lógicas para las distintas posturas en torno a las relaciones del sexo y el género

Definición de una arquitectura configurable para la implementación de redes neuronales en dispositivos FPGA

En los últimos años, en el mundo de la robótica cada vez es más importante el campo de la Inteligencia Artificial y el Machine Learning, donde, además, cada vez cobran más importancia las redes neuronales. El propósito de este trabajo es el diseño de una arquitectura flexible y eficiente para la implementación de redes neuronales en un dispositivo FPGA; para ello, se atenderá a la maximización en la eficiencia de los recursos, sin reducir la frecuencia de actualización de la red neuronal y la latencia de ésta. Finalmente se mostrarán ejemplos de cómo generar algunas estructuras basadas en la arquitectura propuesta.In recent years, in the field of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning has become increasingly important, and neural networks are even more interesting. The purpose of this work is the design of a flexible and efficient architecture for the implementation of neural networks in an FPGA device; for that , we will focus on maximizing the efficiency of resources, without reducing the update frequency of the neural network and its latency. Aplicación de algoritmos SSA a la predicción de demanda en centros de transformación

Este TFG pretende explorar una solución a la problemática existente en los sistemas de distribución de energía eléctrica, que por motivos de planificación, ajuste de oferta-demanda, etc., necesitan de una predicción del consumo. Esta predicción se puede realizar a largo, medio o corto plazo. En este TFG se trata el problema de la predicción de corto plazo, por lo que se realiza con una antelación de 24 horas de horizonte, con el objeto de ajustar la oferta y demanda de energía. Para realizar la predicción se propone un sistema mixto que aúna dos herramientas: el Análisis de Espectro Singular y Redes Neuronales.This TFG aims to explore a solution to an existing problem in the distribution systems of electric energy, which for reasons of planning, supply-demand adjustment, etc., need a prediction of consumption. This prediction can be made long, medium or short term. This TFG treats the problem of short-term prediction, so it is done with a 24-hour horizon ahead, in order to adjust supply and demand for energy. Modelling and simulation of heat and mass transfer for liquid type foods under high pressure processes

High Pressure (HP) Processing has turned out to be very effective in order to prolong the shelf life of some foods. This paper deals with the modelling and simulation of the effect of the combination of high pressure with thermal treatments on food. The behaviour and stability of this model are checked by various numerical examples. Furthermore, a simplified version of the model is presented and compared with the full model in terms of accuracy and computational time. The models developed provide a useful tool to design suitable industrial equipments and optimize the processes

Metodologías activas e innovadoras en la promoción de competencias interculturales e inclusivas en el escenario universitario

Las aulas universitarias se han transformado en los últimos años de manera acelerada. La metamorfosis de la nueva educación está impregnando los cambios didácticos, metodológicos, curriculares y tecnológicos del contexto universitario. La incorporación de metodologías activas e innovadoras buscan no solamente un cambio de rol y una enfatización del papel proactivo de los estudiantes como protagonistas de su propio aprendizaje. De igual forma, pretenden dar un impulso constructivo al desarrollo integral, relacional y emocional de los estudiantes como agentes que, a la vez que adquieren competencias profesionales, se nutren de una formación en valores donde la interculturalidad y la educación inclusiva adoptan un eje trascendental. Para ello, en los espacios formativos universitarios se vienen desarrollando nuevas fórmulas y acciones metodológicas, cooperativas, de aprendizaje servicio y de implementación de modelos dinámicos basados en la resolución de problemas y proyectos. Este artículo pone de relieve la necesidad de estimular la formación intercultural a través de una amplia variedad de recursos metodológicos activos que fomenten la creatividad, el pensamiento crítico y el desarrollo práctico de la interculturalidad en los futuros profesionales de la educación. University classrooms have been transformed rapidly in recent years. The metamorphosis of the new education is permeating the didactic, methodological, curricular and technological changes of the university context. The incorporation of active and innovative methodologies seeks not only a change of role and an emphasis on the proactive role of students as protagonists of their own learning. Similarly, they seek to give a constructive impulse to the integral, relational and emotional development of students as agents who, while acquiring professional skills, are nourished by a formation in values where interculturality and inclusive education adopt a transcendental axis. To this end, new formulas and methodological, cooperative, service-learning and dynamic models based on problem-solving and project implementation are being developed in university training spaces. This article highlights the need to stimulate intercultural training through a wide variety of active methodological resources that foster creativity, critical thinking and the practical development of interculturality in future education professionals
