    Get PDF
Apart from pluralism as a common political good or minimum shared agreement, recognition of differences needs to be reckoned with. Concepts of nationalism and liberalism have not fully developed to consider each individual as unit. Further, the community should be treated as unit of analysis rather that of individual as unit. Muslims in multicultural Indian society should be treated as community as such. Recognition is important within the multiplex of differences. Muslims in India is not only a minority, but most importantly religious minority in the faces of Hindu nationalism. They are congeneric in nature, but in few cases they are frustrated and distinctive ethnicity has cropped up among them

The Ready-made Garment (RMG) industry has already promoted itself as the largest foreign currency earning sector for Bangladesh and occupying the 2nd position in leading exporters of clothing. From a humble beginning in late 70’s RMG sector has emerged itself and did employment about 4.5 million peoples. China is the largest clothing exporter and represents the lion’s share of the world market. In spite of being the second largest exporter, Bangladesh is far behind from China in any category of this sector including export earnings and a number of markets. Whereas China occupies one-third of global market share, Bangladesh has only 6 percent share in clothing export in the world but acts as a lifeline in her economy having 82 percent contribution of export earnings. Bangladesh could be more successful in this sector if it utilizes the available opportunities. For this, Bangladesh should try to grab the opportunities impeding in front because of backwardness of China in clothing export originating recently due to the transformation of the economy to high technology production and higher labor cost in garments. Hence it is important for policy makers to find out the facts and figure in exports of Bangladesh RMG to China. This paper will exhibit the comparativeness of Bangladesh vis-à-vis China in Ready-made Garment sector. Statistical analysis and secondary data sources have been used to make a broad discussion for this study. Bangladesh has the potentialities to be the next China if it can perform well according to the demand and challenges

Since the advancement in computer technology, fraud has become one of the high risk crimes in the world which needs urgent detection and prevention at early stage.

Nowadays, corruption and fraud are being covered in news continuously. Starting in 2004, the fifth Malaysian Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Badawi had launched a National Integrity Plan (NIP) to fight corruption and behold the nobility of integrity among civil servants. Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM) was then established, and IIM together with a few Malaysian university academicians developed a tool called Corporate Integrity Assessment Questionnaire (CIAQ) to measure the level of integrity in an organization adopted from a global Ethics and Integrity Benchmark previously introduced by Joan Elise Dubinsky from The United State of America. CIAQ consists of 12 Dimensions, in which each dimension has its own descriptors making a total of 214 questions pertaining to the level of integrity in the organization. In total, 179 respondents from Public Sector A (PSA) and 151 respondents in Public Sector B (PSB) take part in this assessment by completing and returning the questionnaires. All responses received have been screened for missing data, outliers, withdrawal from normality and other fitting checks for irregularity. Both public sectors have shown that their overall scores are slightly above 50% in which 56% for PSA and 53% for PSB. These results indicate that they are beginning to implement ethics and integrity mechanisms in their organization to maintain the highest levels of transparency, integrity, and professionalism.

This internship report is submitted in a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration,2013.Cataloged from PDF version of Internship report.Includes bibliographical references (page 50).When consumers were tied to a fixed phone with its fixed phone number few years back, mobile and cellular phones have proliferated to meet the demand for communication anytime, anywhere in the world. Robi is one of the companies that has accelerated and sought out every nook and cranny of telecom products and services for both consumers and businesses. Companies that have not foreseen change--or kept up--are quickly consigned to the technological and financial graveyard, Robi being just the latest example. Financial muscle has been displaced by quality and depth of management and speed of execution as the final arbiter in the telecom marketplace by Robi. And I had the opportunity to work with the corporate finance team as an intern for three months. The report is the reflection of that three months learning and hard work. The report has been started with the basic overview of Robi, its departments and has moved to the main topic of vendor payment. Since the process involves vendors that is why a short chapter is included about vendors, its selection strategies etc. However, since vendor selection is the work of supply chain management that is why, each and every topic on vendors are discussed shortly. In the later part, vendor payment process is illustrated and explained. Although the whole process is supported by SAP in Robi but these software needs to be upgraded because of CFO‟s decision to incorporate few things which the system cannot provide. As a result, we the interns help Robi management in finding that information which is not done by the SAP. It‟s also worth mentioning that the intern work in these particular sector is very new and I was the first intern in Robi who have started these project related to vendor payment. The information that I have to find, analyze and sometimes match with SAP includes invoice receives date, lead time, due date of submission to treasury etc. Lastly, the report concludes with few of the recommendation that I thought can make the process more efficient and ends with references of some of the sources that have supported me in finishing these report.Md.
