A STUDY OF REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMN STRUCTURE TO COMPARE OF STEEL COLUMN STRUCTURE (CASE STUDY ON INDONESIA EDUCATION MUSEUM BUILDING YOGYAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITY)

Indonesia education museum building which consists of two floors has a unique architectural style and in the earthquake zone 3, its design is using a system of intermediate moment frame bearers (SRPMM) to carry the gravity and seismic loads. The frame of the building is quite unique, so the author is interested in reviewing of the structure. In this study is limited on reviewing the structures of the frame and the aims of the study: (1) Expenses of gravity and seismic loads, (2) Analyzing the strength and ductility of columns, and (3) Comparison the use of reinforced concrete columns and steel columns. The design of the frame was using the 3D and analysis assuming the dimensions of each frame in according to the real building ground. The author used Etabs version 7.10 for earthquake load analysis based on SNI 03-1726-2002 the code of earthquake resistant building standards of assigning, analysis of concrete structures based on SNI 03-2847-2002 about regulation procedures for reinforced concrete structures, and SNI 03-1729-2002 about steel structure design procedures for structural design of steel columns. Based on engineering drawing, obtained K1 column uses 400 mm x 400 mm using 8D16 for the longitudinal reinforcement, shear reinforcement P10-100 on the pedestal and P10-150 on the middle of the space area. K2 column uses 400 mm x 400 mm using 6D16 for the longitudinal reinforcement, shear reinforcement P10-100 on the pedestal and P10-150 on the middle of the space area. From the results shows of data analysis to K1 column uses 400 mm x 400 mm using 8D16 for the longitudinal reinforcement, shear reinforcement P10-120 on the pedestal and P10-200 on the middle of the space area. K2 column uses 400 mm x 400 mm using 6D16 for the longitudinal reinforcement and shear reinforcement P10-120 on the pedestal and P10- 200 on the middle of the space area. For the design of steel columns was taken from the Mnb as Mr for column interaction diagram (MN) on its balance point. It was obtained I-profile steel 350mm x 350mm x 10mm x 16mm for the whole portal columns. Employment cost of reinforced concrete column total is Rp. 56,038,214.36 while total cost of the work of steel columns is Rp. 130,938,080.00. Key words: study columns, concrete, and steel

LOAN WORDS AS SHAPERS OF IDENTITY IN SEVENTEENTHCENTURY MALAY: A HISTORICAL LINGUISTICS STUDY OF CHRISTIAN SONGS INTRODUCED BY THE VOC

The presence of loan words in a language shows the long-standing interactions between that particular language as a recepient and its donors. Over time, these loan words are absorbed into the recipient language and they become a part of the linguistic identity of its speakers. Very often the speakers no longer realize that these words originally came from another language. This essay looks at seventeenth-century texts of Christian songs in Malay that were first introduced to the East Indies by the VOC. By looking at the presence of several loan words, mostly coming from Arabic, Sanskrit, and Dutch this essay seeks to explain how these loan words form the identity of speakers of Malay, not just among Christians who sang these songs, but also the speakers of this lingua franca who lived all over the East Indies archipelago

The analysis technique used is path analysis with the help of the SPSS application. Abstract : Art is an expression of feeling representing the crystallization of ideas that result from imaginative experiences though observation and exploration of such social life as religion, culture, custom and traditional, and natural environment. These are all encouraged by internal stimulus and intuitive urge that stimulate emotion and imagination to be expressed in a painting. To Balinese people, lontar is want of the human cultural achievements containing dual values and spiritual teaching to guide people to have a physically and mentally harmonious and balanced social life. The observed and comprehended values contained in lontar have inspired the writer during the creative process. By understanding the balance concept of ontained in lontar we can wisely interpret the phenomena of life in our recent social envirotment which is characterized by intrigues of personal interest and violation of moral norms that result in horizontal conflicts as represented by the changes of life style and mental attitude such as damaged environment, degraded human value and status, pressure to others, and so on. PENGARUH GENDER TERHADAP PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN RUMAH TANGGA INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gender terhadap pengambilan keputusan rumah tangga Indonesia. Gender menjadi fenomena menarik pada rumah tangga Indonesia karena mulai adanya kesetaraan gender pada segala aspek, tidak terlepas pada hal pengambilan keputusan rumah tangga. Pada konstruksi budaya gender pada rumah tangga terbagi menjadi domestik dan publik. Hasil penlitian ini dapat menunjukkan sudah adanya kesetaraan gender atau masih bertahan dengan kontruksi budaya bahwa laki – laki pada aspek publik sedangkan perempuan pada aspek domestik. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang bersumber dari Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) edisi ke-5. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan bantuan software analisis statistik E Studio. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 21.587 yang tersebar di Indonesia. Terdiri dari 10.287 responden laki – laki dan 11.300 responden perempuan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengambilan keputusan rumah tangga cenderung dilakukan secara bersama antara suami dan istri. Kesetaraan gender terlihat apabila dalam rumah tangga terjadi kerjasama dalam pengambilan keputusan. Namun, terdapat beberapa aspek yang memang mendominasi salah satu pihak, tergantung pekerjaan yang akan dilakukan oleh suami maupun istri. Kata Kunci: gender, pengambilan keputusan, rumah tangg

Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Herba Krokot (Portulaca oleracea L.) terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli

Krokot (Portulaca oleracea L.) can be used as traditional medicine is to cure skin diseases and diarrhea. This study aimed to determine the phytochemical profile of krokot herb extract qualitatively, and to determine the effect of krokot herb extract on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus FNCC 0047 and Escherichia coli FNCC 0091. Testing the effectiveness of antibacterial calculated using test wells with bacteria S. aureus and E. coli. This study used 6 levels is 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, positive control (ampicillin) and a negative control (distilled water). The results showed that the phytochemical profile krokot herb extract contains tannin, saponin and flavonoid. The existence of the effect of krokot herb extract against the bacteria S. aureus is characterized by the formation of zones 90% inhibition at concentrations of 2 cm, concentration of 100% of 2.2cm, beside of negative control, concentration of 50-70% not make clear zone and E. coli at a concentration of 90% of 0.6 cm, concentration of 100% of 0.9 cm, beside of negative control, concentration of 50-70% not make clear zone. Krokot herb extracts more influence on the bacteria S. aureus than E. coli bacterial wall structure is polar and easily penetrate krokot extract. Krokot herb extract concentration that is 90% and 100% effective which inhibits bacteria S. aureus. Research showed that the higher the concentration of antibacterial agent is given the greater the inhibition zone formed

SURVEY KEPEMILIKAN MESIN 3R (RECOVERY, RECYCLE, RECHARGE) PADA BENGKEL-BENGKEL AIR CONDITIOANER (AC) MOBIL DI KOTA SURABAYA

Hal ini dibuktikan dengan keluarnya peraturan pemerintah No. 02 Tahun 2007 tentang lingkungan hidup yang berisi tentang teknis dan persyaratan kompetensi pelaksanaan retrofit dan recycle pada sistem refrigerasi. Penggunaan refrigerant jenis R12 pada AC atau alat pendingin lain merupakan salah satu bentuk yang turut andil dalam proses perusakan ozon, jadi dengan keluarnya peraturan ini seluruh bengkel di Indonesia mematuhi peraturan yang ada dalam undang-undang diantaranya penggunaan mesin 3R yang befungsi untuk recovery, recycle, recharge. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepemilikan mesin 3R, penggunaan mesin 3R, tahun dan merk kendaraan yang melakukan perawatan sistem AC dan jenis freon apa saja yang digunakan pada bengkel AC mobil di kota Surabaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dan observasi kepemilikan mesin 3R yang dilakukan pada 38 sampel bengkel AC mobil selama 1 minggu di kota Surabaya yang sudah di bagi menjadi 5 wilayah (Surabaya Barat, Surabaya Timur, Surabaya Utara, Surabaya Selatan, dan Surabaya Pusat). klasifikasi bengkel AC mobil dibagi menjadi 3 kriteria yaitu bengkel AC ATPM, bengkel AC menengah, dan bengkel AC kecil. Hasil observasi dari 38 bengkel AC yang dijadikan sampel hanya 23 bengkel AC yang memiliki mesin 3R di kota Surabaya, dan yang menggunakan mesin tersebut untuk melakukan perawatan hanya 8 bengkel AC dari semua Bengkel AC yang memiliki mesin 3R. Dari kisaran kendaraan tahun 1980-1997 masih ada sejumlah kendaraan yang menggunakan Freon jenis R12 dan kendaraan dengan kisaran tahun 1997-2010 sudah mengunakan Freon R134a.

This article aims to provide an argument about the transaction alert system that willbe implemented in Indonesia. At this time, transaction alert system is believed as a solution toprevent the crime of misuse of credit cards. The purpose of this study is to examine whetherthe transaction alert system can be implemented in Indonesia. This study is a comparativestudy toward countries that have implemented transaction alert system. It is compared toUnited States, India, and Malaysia. The results of a comparative study shows that theimplementation of the transaction alert in each country are not much different. The thing hasdone in order to go ahead transaction alert in Indonesia is the awareness of customers toplay an active role in the transaction alert and a cooperative relation between bank andtelephone provider. SISTEM INFORMASI PERTOKOAN PADA MINIMARKET “ NURI”

 ABSTRAKKebutuhan informasi saat ini semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, begitu pula kebutuhan informasi pertokoan pada Minimarket “NURI” di Desa Batukerbuy Kecamatan Pasean. Pada Minimarket “NURI” ini masih mengalami kendala terutama dalam hal pengelolaan stok barang yang tidak sesuai antara laporan dengan keadaan jumlah stok barang. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk mengangkat permasalahan tersebut sebagai judul skripsi yaitu " Sistem Informasi Pertokoan pada Minimarket “NURI".Dalam skripsi ini, metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode deskriptif, sebagai upaya untuk mendapatkan gambaran dan penjelasan mengenai keadaan objek penelitian berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak. Sedangkan untuk metode pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan, studi lapangan, dan metode wawancara. Implementasi dan rancangan program menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP versi 5 dan database MySQL. Pada akhirnya penulis berharap dengan dibuatkannya aplikasi yang dirancang untuk minimarket ini dapat membantu mempermudah dalam hal Pengelolaan Minimarket “NURI” dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai penyedia informasi pertokoan. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Pertokoa
