HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI DENGAN KEPATUHAN PELAKSANAAN DIET PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS

Planning diet is a major component of the successful management of Diabetes Mellitus. The success of meal planning depends on the behavior of people with Diabetes Mellitus in choosing food include the amount of energy, the type of food, and the meal schedule. Compliance is the individual's behavior to carry out the instructions suggested by the doctor. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of motivation with compliance with diabetes mellitus diet in patients with diabetes mellitus at Porsea Regional Hospital. The research design used was a cross-sectional approach. The population of Diabetes Mellitus patient at Porsea Regional Hospital was 21 respondents. The measuring instrument uses a questionnaire of motivation and compliance with diabetes mellitus diet. Data were analyzed by the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The result of Pearson Product Moment test analysis obtained significant value 0.000 which means there is a significant relationship between the relationships of motivation with compliance diabetes mellitus diet in people with diabetes mellitus at Porsea Regional Hospital. The motivation is important because it is related to dietary changes diabetes mellitus patients are based on the patient's desire to heal and reduce the risk of complications caused by diabetes mellitus so they are motivated to follow the recommended diet program. It is expected that the nursing and doctor always motivate people with diabetes mellitus to compliance the Diabetes Mellitus diet to reduce the complications of diseases caused by Diabetes Mellitus

ANALISIS FINANSIAL USAHA PERIKANAN TANGKAP GILL NET DI PPI TANJUNGBALAI ASAHAN, SUMATERA UTARA

Salah satu jenis alat tangkap yang digunakan oleh nelayan di PPI Tanjungbalai Asahan adalah gill net atau yang sering disebut jaring puput oleh nelayan Tanjungbalai. Kegiatan usaha penangkapan memerlukan investasi yang tidak sedikit, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisis usaha penangkapan alat tangkap gill net di PPI Tanjungbalai Asahan agar tidak mengalami kerugian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aspek teknis, ekonomi, serta finansial usaha perikanan gill net di PPI Tanjungbalai. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus. Data yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini ialah data hasil wawancara dengan 97 orang yang aktif beroperasi di perairan Tanjungbalai, serta data dari pihak PPI Tanjungbalai Asahan, Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek teknis usaha penangkapan gill net di PPI Tanjungbalai menggunakan armada penangkapan yang berukuran 15- 17 GT. Hasil tangkapan utamanya adalah Ikan Kembung (Rastrelliger kanagurta). Adapun modal rata-rata usaha gill net sebesar Rp 711.731.959, biaya tetap rata-rata sebesar Rp 71.772.165, biaya tidak tetap rata-rata sebesar Rp 667.856.598, penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp 1.077.095.876, keuntungan rata-rata sebesar Rp 337.467.113. Nilai NPV adalah sebesar Rp 1.583.671.685, nilai IRR sebesar 96%, nilai B/C ratio sebesar 1,36, dan untuk nilai PP yaitu 2 tahun 1 bulan 6 hari

Student’s Perception of Micro Teaching Course to Their Teaching Internship at The English Department of HKBP Nommensen University

This study aims to find out student perceptions and benefits of the Micro Teaching Course for Teaching Internships at the English Department of HKBP Nommensen University. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. The population is seventh semester students of English education, amounting to 20 students. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. To collect data, the researcher gave 20 statement  in the form of a questionnaire and then distributed them to 20 students and 7 questions through interviews with 10 students. From the results of the questionnaire the researchers concluded that students felt helped by their experiences in microteaching, as many as 20 participants 70% of whom agree and 29,75% strongly agree that microteaching had an effect on increasing their skills in teaching, From the results of the interviews, the researcher also concluded that students' perceptions of the microteaching course had an impact on their teaching practices as evidenced by the students' narrative presentations. Students think that with microteaching students can improve their skills in making and teaching based on lesson plans, skills in explaining material, time management and increasing self-confidence in teaching

Pembentukan Karakter Pada Anak-Anak Panti Asuhan Yayasan Tunas Kasih Olayama Raya Melalui Nyanyian Rohani

Membangun karakter bangsa dimulai dari kecintaan terhadap anak-anak. Bangsa yang besar dilihat dari berbagai sudut pandang yang salah satunya adalah kebahagiaan anak-anak. Anak-anak bangsa harus dididik dengan karakter yang baik sejak usia dini melalui kegiatan-kegiatan positif. Kegiatan sosial ini menanamkan karakter positif bagi anak-anak bangsa yang ada di panti asuhan tunas kasih olayama raya. Tujuanya agar anak-anak panti asuhan dapat merasakan uluran kasih dan perhatian dari masyarakat luar. Observasi langsung kelapangan dan berdiskusi dengan pengurus panti memberikan gambaran terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi sehingga tim dapat mencari solusi yang tepat. CHARACTERISTIC ORGANOLEPTIC, AND PROTEIN CONTENT OF COOKIES FROM MOCAF FLOUR WITH ADDITION LOMEK FISH FLOUR

The problem of wasting still occurs quite frequently in Indonesia so efforts are needed to overcome this so that it does not cause detrimental impacts in both the short and long term. One effort that can be made is by providing food that is high in protein originating from local food ingredients such as mocaf flour and lomek fish flour. One product that can be developed from this material was cookies. Therefore, in this research, researchers will develop a cookies product from mocaf flour with the addition of lomek fish flour. The aim of this research was to determined the organoleptic characteristics and protein content of cookies products made from mocaf flour with the addition of lomek fish flour. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). In this research, cookies product manufacturing, organoleptic testing, determination of the selected formula, and analysis of protein content were carried out. The organoleptic test results showed that the color, taste and texture attributes showed significantly different results (p-value<0.005) while the aroma attributes showed results that were not significantly different (p-value>0.005). The organoleptic test results show that formula 2 was preferable compared to formulas 1 and 3, especially in terms of taste attributes. Based on this, formula 2 was selected as the selected formula. Formula 2 contains 21.0 grams of protein per 100 grams of product and can be claimed as a high-protein product. This product requires further research related to organoleptic testing for the target group, complete proximate and amino acid content, and product shelf life

Optimalisasi Pencegahan Stunting Melalui Pembagian Bubur Kacang Hijau serta Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat pada Masyarakat Kampung Kandis

Stunting atau pendek merupakan kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita akibat kekurangan gizi kronis terutama dalam 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan. Program edukasi stunting merupakan program pencegahan stunting pada bayi dan balita. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting melalui pemberian makanan tambahan dan sosialisasi pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Metode pelaksanaan dalam program pencegahan stunting kepada masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan kader Posyandu Cinta Balita, sosialisasi pra nikah untuk pemuda dan pemudi di Kampung Kandis, kegiatan pelatihan budidaya tanaman holtikultura, pembagian bubur kacang hijau sebagai bentuk pemenuhan gizi seimbang untuk kesehatan masyarakat, dan sosialisasi perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat kepada ibu guru dan para siswa. Populasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah ibu-ibu kader Posyandu Cinta Balita, remaja Kampung Kandis, ibu-ibu Kampung Kandis yang memiliki bayi dan balita, dan ibu-ibu hamil di wilayah Kampung Kandis. Pemahaman mengenai stunting perlu lebih ditekankan di masyarakat serta penguatan dan keaktifan Kader perlu dimasifkan untuk terwujudnya program yang aktif dan baik. Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Literasi Baca dan Digital Berbasis Perpustakaan Online Di Kampung Klabili Distrik Selemkai

Kabupaten Tambrauw secara geografis memiliki wilayah yang begitu besar yang sangat memungkinkan daerah tersebut memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah, namun dengan tingginya sumber daya alam tidak di dukung dengan pembangunan sumber daya manusia di daerah tersebut. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mencakup 2 hal yaitu (1) Untuk menjelaskan sejauh mana peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam implementasi Literasi Baca, (2) Untuk menggambarkan tingkat keterampilan masyarakat dalam menggunakan literasi digital sebagai media informasi. Metode yang diterapkan dalam program ini mencakup beberapa tahapan yakni: tahap 1 pembinaan dan Pendampingan, salah satunya dengan memberikan modul baca dan mendata buku-buku baca online yang akan digunakan serta mendampingi proses belajar warga. Selanjutnya tahap 2 pelestarian yakni dengan memberikan kepada warga belajar kalimat-kalimat yang lebih komplek, Sedangkan untuk pembelajaran literasi digital diberikan pengkajian informasi yang berkaitan dengan fakta atau kabar yang diterima hoaks. kemudian pada tahap ini juga masyarakat diminta untuk belajar mengakses perpustakaan online. Adapun responden dalam penelitian ini masyarakat kampung Klabili. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa warga cukup tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran yang diberikan, dikarenakan materi yang diajarkan adalah sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang mereka inginkan. Berdasarkan perihal tersebut terdapat Peningkatan pengetahuan pada warga belajar dengan rata rata presentase keberhasilan kegiatan sebesar 71 persen. Kemudian pada capaian literasi digital menunjukkan hasil yang cukup baik pula dengan persentase sebesar 69 persen. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran yang diberikan mampu berkontribusi dalam mendorong pengetahuan warga, disatu sisi mereka juga terbantu dengan program-program yang diberikan pada saat kegiatan berlangsung.Â
