The interview covers the early years of the varsity football program at Bridgewater State College in the mid- to late-1960s. The subjects detail their experiences as football players in those years, reminiscing about many of their fellow athletes, specific games played, their training and practice experiences, and the reception of the Bridgewater campus community to the football program. The interview includes discussion about the team’s first coach Edward Swenson and his successor Peter Mazzaferro.
