Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The research had done in Terapung Raya Village, Muara Batangtoru District, South Tapanuli Regency on 20 oil palm farmers. The researcher applied an interview system and filled out a questionnaire to collect data from 20 oil palm farmers who were selected based on predetermined criteria. The research objective is to determine the effect of production factors on the income of oil palm farmers in floating village and to see other constraints that affect the production and income of other farmers. The data used in this research are secondary data and primary data which come from interviews and farmer questionnaires as well as other supporting data from literature studies and related agencies. Production factors that form the basis of this research are the amount of oil palm production, land area, age of oil palm plantations, maintenance costs of oil palm and the selling price of oil palm. The results showed that on average the farmers in Terapung Raya Village were still of productive age with adequate levels of education and their own land. From the results of data analysis, production factors have an influence on the income of oil palm farmers. Production factors that have a significant effect on farmers' income are the amount of production and the selling price of oil palm. Meanwhile, other factors such as land area owned by farmers, plant age and maintenance costs do not have a significant effect on farmers' income in Terapung Raya Village, Muata Batangtoru District

    PENGARUH KOMPETENSI, KESADARAN, PELATIHAN KARYAWAN, PRASARANA DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT. LEMBAH KARET PADANG SETELAH PENGIMPLEMENTASIAN QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ISO 9001:2008 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya-upaya perbaikan kompetensi, kesadaran, pelatihan, prasarana, dan lingkungan kerja yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan PT. Lembah Karet Padang setelah pengimplementasian Quality Manajemen System ISO 9001: 2008 serta menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, kesadaran, pelatihan, prasarana, lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Lembah Karet Padang setelah pengimplementasian Quality Manajemen System ISO 9001: 2008. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif survei yang menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Metode penarikan sampel yaitu penarikan sampel proposional (Proportioned sampling). Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 responden. Uji instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan uji reliabilitas dan uji validitas. Model statistik yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda serta menggunakan asumsi klasik dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji multikolonieritas, uji heteroskedastiditas dan uji linieritas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi, Kesadaran, Pelatihan Karyawan, Prasarana, dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Lembah Karet Padang setelah pengimplemetasian Quality Manajemen System ISO 9001: 2008. Nilai R Square atau koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,672 dimana variabel Kinerja Karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Kompetensi, Kesadaran, Pelatihan Karyawan, Prasarana dan Lingkungan Kerja sebesar 67,2 % atau variabel Kompetensi, Kesadaran, Pelatihan Karyawan, Prasarana dan Lingkungan Kerja mampu mempengaruhi variabel Kinerja Karyawan sebesar 67,2 % sedangkan 32,8 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam model. Secara parsial faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Lembah Karet Padang setelah pengimplementasian Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 yaitu faktor Pelatihan Karyawan dimana nilai Sig. variabel Pelatihan Karyawan 0,007 < dari α 0,05. Lembah Karet Padang after implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008, and to analyze the effect of competence, awareness, training, infrastructure, work environment on the performance of employees of PT. Lembah Karet Padang after the implementation of the Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008. Data collection technique include survey and interview. Sampling method is proportional (proportioned sampling). The samples consist of 30 respondents. Reliability and validity test were applied to test data collection instruments. The statistical model used is multiple linear regression using classic assumptions; normality test, multicoloniarity, heteroscedasticity and linearity test. The results show that the competence, awareness, employee training, infrastructure, and work environment significantly affect employees performance of PT. Lembah Karet Padang after the implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008. The value of R Square or determination coefficient is 0.672 where the variable of employees performance represented by competence, awareness, employee training, infrastructure and environment with the value of 67.2%. It also reveals that competence, awareness, employee training, infrastructure and work environment affect the employees performance as much as 67.2%, while 32.8% is affected by other variables. Partially factors that significantly influence the performance of employees of PT.     Strategi Peningkatan Produksi Padi Lahan Suboptimal

    West Aceh Regency has suboptimal land potential in the form of dry land which is quite large reaching 9,227.7 Ha. Expansion of harvest areas and increased productivity of rice and other foodstuffs are a must to meet food needs. The purpose of this study is to formulate a strategy to increase rice production on suboptimal land in West Aceh Regency. The research was conducted in East Woyla District, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. The research method uses qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The sample amounted to 38 respondents, namely suboptimal land rice farmer that cultivate rice on dry land. Analyze strategy formulation using SWOT analysis. The results of the study are strategies in increasing rice production on suboptimal land is government intervention in socializing appropriate technology in cultivating rice on suboptimal land, as well as maintaining the availability of New Superior Varieties (VUB) seeds, fertilizers and agricultural machinery tools.Kabupaten Aceh Barat memiliki potensi lahan suboptimal berupa lahan kering yang cukup luas mencapai 9.227,7 Ha. Perluasan areal panen dan peningkatan produktivitas padi dan bahan pangan lainnya menjadi suatu keharusan guna memenuhi kebutuhan pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu merumuskan strategi dalam meningkatkan produksi padi pada lahan suboptimal di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Woyla Timur, Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Provinsi Aceh. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel berjumlah 38 responden yaitu petsni padi lahan suboptimal yang membudidayakan psdi pada lahan kering. Menganalisis perumusan strategi menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian yaitu strategi dalam meningkatkan produksi padi sawah pada lahan suboptimal adalah adanya campur tangan pemerintah dalam sosialisasi teknologi yang tepat dalam membudidayakan padi pada lahan suboptimal, juga menjaga ketersediaan benih Varietas Unggul Baru (VUB), pupuk dan alsintan

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan sumber daya di PT. Lembah Karet  setelah pengimplementasian Quality Manajemen System ISO 9001:2008. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan menetapkan key informan dan triangulasi data. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu PT. Lembah Karet  setelah mengimplementasikan Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008. Instrumen penelitian berupa panduan wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian yaitu PT. Lembah Karet telah melakukan pengelolaan sumber daya sesuai dengan pengimplemetasian Quality Manajemen System ISO 9001:2008 klausul 6. Pengelolaan kompetensi  dengan meningkatkan kompetensi karyawannya melalui kebijakan yang diterapkan dan program pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan. Pengelolaan kesadaran melalui kebijakan Punishment yang diberikan untuk menambah kesadaran karyawan dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya.  Pengelolaan Pelatihan Karyawan dengan mengadakan program pelatihan dari pihak internal maupun eksternal sejak tahun 1991. Pengelolaan Prasarana yaitu melakukan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan terhadap mesin/peralatan serta bangunan produksi. Pengelolaan Lingkungan kerja yaitu melakukan perbaikan terus-menerus terhadap keadaan lingkungan kerja melalui pemeriksaan rutin keadaan udara, kebisingan, dan kandungan zat-zat saat proses produksi serta hubungan kerja.

    Coffee (Coffeea sp.) is an agricultural commodity in the plantation subsector which includes the mainstray export commodity,has high economic value and an important source of foreign exchange (net exporters) for Indonesia. UD Tyyana Coffee is one of the busnisesses that runs agribusiness of coffee commodities ranging from plantations to coffee processing. The aims of this study is to analyze the Blue Ocean Strategy at UD. Tyyana Coffee in the South Tapanuli Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The result of the research is in running a large strategic series, UD Tyyana Coffe breaks down strategies that are not yet owned by competitors, such as (1) Improving product quality and HR will provide benefits to consumers by providing maximum results. Creating a trend of locations with cafe nuances and facilities such as homestays will increase the emotional appeal of consumers; (2) In the formulation of the Blue Ocean Strategy, the price offered by UD Tyyana Coffee is very attractive and does not change, so it does not affect consumer purchasing power; (3) The costs incurred for this strategy are still affordable. By improving service, it is only intensified when serving ground coffee to provide education about coffee; (4) Adopting the Blue Ocean Strategy requires commitment and cooperation in its processing

    This study is aimed to analyze business model, internal external environment and formulate alternative strategies in UD. Salacca based on Business Model Canvas. The methods of research used are descriptive qualitative method. The data was obtained through secondary data and primary data. Data collected through depth interviews, observation and focus group discussion. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the SWOT and BMC. The results showed that SWOT has Strengths (S), South Tapanuli is the salak production center in North Sumatra. Weaknesses (W) such as some products are not always available and cannot meet large-scale demand or exports; venture capital, technology and labor are still limited; there is no official cooperation contract with suppliers, customers and distributors. Therefore, BMC now needs to be improved by utilizing Opportunities (O) including the assistance from the Government in the form of counseling, training and mentoring of the production machinery business; product promotion facilities at trade shows / festivals and also trade sites; other than that the product has been in demand by domestic and foreign tourists; The business already has a link to export products. So as to be able to face the Threat (T) of many competing products that use substitute raw materials and more sophisticated production technology resulting in consumers not loyal. The resulting alternative strategies are increasing consumer reach and business scale; improvement of production facilities and infrastructure; improving services with consumers; partnerships with distributors and souvenir vendors; increase capital, technology and labor

    Empowerment of Robusta Coffee Farmers to Develop Entrepreneurs in Aceh Barat Based on Technology Application

    Background: The problems of robusta coffee farmer in Aceh Barat Regency are lack of insight into the downstream potential of robusta coffee,  lack of business development ideas and farmer do not understand making financial reports, legality and business organizational systems. For this reason, assistance are needed to coffee farmers so that they develop their business and increase their income. Contribution: Increasing insight into potential utilization and marketing, entrepreneurial development ideas, business finance. Method: Community service was held on 11-13 November 2022 at Teuku Umar University. The approach taken is in the form of a process of education, training and mentoring focuses on three stages: (1) Education of potential beneficiaries and development of the Robusta coffee business (2) Assistance in preparing financial reports, business organization systems and technology adoption and (3) Socialization of efficient coffee marketing channels. Results: The process that goes through each stage is the purchase of red cherries for robusta coffee. There are 3 sub-districts that currently can become suppliers of robusta coffee in Aceh Barat Regency, namely Woyla Induk District, Samatiga District and Meureubo District. The three districts have taken samples and carried out the drying process to become green beans. After purchasing the fruit, the next stage is the process of drying, roasting, grinding and packaging. During the harvest season, there is a surge in production which causes low prices. The main obstacle that arises is the decreasing production of salak every year. Community service activities in Lembah Lubuk Raya Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency gave very positive results seen from the enthusiastic response of the farming community to participate in activities, both socialization activities on value added for zero waste and training in the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer.     The research objective is to formulate a strategy for optimizing the adoption of barcode system technology by identifying internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats for oil palm plantation companies, especially PT. Langkat Nusantara Kepong (LNK). Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires, interviews and direct observation. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative research methods. Analysis of research data using SWOT analysis. The results of the research based on the SWOT analysis show that the strategy that must be applied in the adoption of barcode system technology is the WO strategy with alternative strategies, namely increasing employee competence, motivation, and behavioral intention. &nbsp;Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, teknologi telah mengalami transformasi secara drastis, selalu ada kreasi dan inovasi baru yang ditawarkan kepada manusia. Sekarang ini, hidup manusia telah terikat dengan teknologi bahkan sejak lahir, bayangkan, rumah sakit hingga klinik menggunakan berbagai teknologi untuk membantu proses kelahiran. Dapat dikatakan bahwa teknologi telah menjadi salah satu hal terpenting dalam hidup manusia . Tujuan penelitian untuk merumuskan strategi optimalisasi adopsi teknologi sistem barcode dengan mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan internal, serta peluang dan ancaman eksternal perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit khususnya PT.     Keterbatasan lahan mengakibatkan produktivitas lahan pertanian semakin menurun. Khususnya pada  daerah perkotaan yang sudah semakin terbatas, sedangkan kebutuhan pangan semakin meningkat. Pemanfaatan lahan perkarangan untuk bercocok tanam dapat membantu untuk memulihkan kondisi pertanian di tengah masyarakat perkotaan, dengan menggunakan sistem hidroponik. Hidroponik adalah budidaya tanaman dengan menggunakan air sebagai medium untuk menggantikan tanah. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Meureubo Aceh Barat yang bertujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada siswa dalam teknik budidaya tanaman hidroponik dengan memanfaatkan perkarangan sekolah dan memotivasi siswa untuk berwirausaha komoditas sayur hidroponik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan dan metode demontrasi. Penyuluhan diberikan oleh Dosen sebagai narasumber dengan memberikan materi terkait teknik budidaya tanaman hidroponik, bahan yang digunakan sebagai media tanam serta nutrisi yang digunakan untuk mendukung keberhasilan dalam budidaya kangkung hidroponik. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan mendemonstrasikan cara budidaya sayur kangkung secara hidroponik sistem wick yang di bantu oleh mahasiswa. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat dilihat dari pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, antusiasme dan keaktifan siswa, dan hasil kerja kelompok dalam menanam sayur kangkung hidroponik dengan metode sistem wick serta perkarangan sekolah yang menjadi lebih estetik. Pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada siswa diharapkan berkelanjutan guna mendukung lulusan SMK yang terampil serta mampu melihat prospek usaha agribisnis komoditas sayur hidroponik
