The influence of crude oil price in biodiesel and its implication on the production of palm oil : the case of Indonesia

Over the last five years (2012-2016) there has been a rise in world oil prices which were very noticeable on an average of 17,85 percent per year. This increase encouraged the increased use of alternative fuels, one of which was biodiesel. It was estimated that the average increase in global biodiesel production amounted to 43.18 percent per year. Because one of biodiesel feedstocks was CPO, the increased production of biodiesel causes CPO export demand to increase simultanesly. The Bio-diesel utilization is also expected to reduce oil consumption. The purpose of this paper is to examine the influence of crude oil price increase on the Bio-diesel utilization, oil consumption reduction, and pollutant emission reduction.peer-reviewe

The impact of the global stock market and the foreign exchange market on domestic financial market

The JCI (Jakarta Composite Index) movement contributed 13.5 percent to the variation of movement in the balance of the rupiah exchange rate. EG test, cointegration test and VECM test with the period 2006-2016, explained that the IDR movement is not independent, influenced by the movement of IHSG (The Composite Stock Index) and currency from The United States, Singapore, Japan, Australia and Germany. Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Berbantu Media Audio Visual Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Pada Siswa Kelas V SD N Tlogowungu 03 Pada Tema 6 Panas Dan Perpindahannya Subtema 1

Model Problem Based Learning Problem Based Learning (PBL) adalah proses pembelajaran. Dalam kurikulumnya, dirancang masalah-masalah yang menuntut siswa mendapat pengetahuan yang penting. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan menggunakan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui besar keefektifan model PBL berbantu media audiovisual terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dilihat dari pemecahan masalah materi tema 6 subtema 1 siswa kelas V SDN Tlogowungu 03. Penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil mata pelajaran Tema 6 subtema 1 siswa yang tuntas hanya 20% dan tidak tuntas sebesar 80%, siswa masih kesulitan dalam memahami cara menyelesaikan soal berpikir kritis, selain itu pada saat proses pembelajaran belum menggunakan media secara maksimal. Hasil analisis data, rata-rata nilai posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan rata-rata nilai pretest  (79,60>53,05). Hasil analisis uji-t satu pihak diperoleh = 8,800 dan = 1,729 pada taraf signifikasi 5% . karena >  yaitu 8,800 > 1,729 sehingga  ditolak. Maka disimpulkan bahwa model PBL berbantu media audiovisual efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah supaya model pembelajaran PBL dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif guru dalam pembelajaran agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.Kata kunci : Berpikir Kritis, Problem Based Learning, Media audiovisual

ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN ALGORITMA LOAD BALANCING DYNAMIC RATIO DAN RATIO PADA SERVER

Website merupakan aplikasi internet yang menyediakan konten-konten menarik. Hal ini menyebabkan kunjungan pada suatu website mengalami peningkatan. Banyaknya kunjungan pada website mengakibatkan trafik pada suatu website menjadi padat dan beban kerja pada server semakin besar. Peningkatan beban kerja pada sever mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas pada saat melayani request dari client. Load balancing adalah sebuah teknik untuk membagi beban trafik dan membaca ketersedian resource pada server. Pembagian beban trafik dapat dilakukan menggunakan informasi perangkat pada server seperti CPU, memory, dan disk. Algoritma penjadwalan yang digunakan adalah dynamic ratio dan sebagai pembandingnya adalah algoritma ratio. Pada proyek akhir ini telah dirancang load balancing dengan menggunkan algoritma dynamic ratio dan ratio pada tiga jenis layanan yaitu web server, FTP server, dan VoIP server. Nilai rata-rata throughput tertinggi terdapat pada algoritma dynamic ratio yaitu web server 119.68 KB/s dan FTP server 120.53 KB/s. Nilai rata-rata response time tercepat yaitu algoritma ratio sebesar web server 8.66 detik dan FTP server 32.2 detik. Hasil rata-rata jumlah request loss paling sedikit yaitu algoritma ratio web server sebesar 2.1% kegagalan request, FTP server sebesar 0.07% kegagalan file transfer, dan VoIP server 0.18% kegagalan panggilan. kata kunci : load balancing, dynamic ratio, ratio, serve

The Author in conducting rsearch and community service activities wants to know the level of compliance and awareness of MSME taxpayers on tax obligations to pay taxes and report annual tax returns and reporting annual tax returns both manually and online on time.The purpose of this study is to better know and understand compliance and awareness to pay taxes and to report annual tax returns in reporting taxes owned.Through this qualitative descriptive study using content analysis with 15 informants on the results of long distance interviews from representatives of MSMEs in the Pondok Melati Sub District,Bekasi City,West Java and 10 key informants in Cipayung District,East Jakarta. Improvement of MSMEs business performance in terms of beingaware of carrying out tax obigations and being able to support the strengthening sector of state revenue for quality domestic MSMEs and fiscal taxes in a productive economic network in order to increase state income in the domestic tax sector. The limitation of the research is that it is limited to understanding and knowing the level of compliance and awareness of MSME taxpayers to pay taxes and reporting annual tax returns on time.
