Influence of Radiation on the Luminescence of Silicon Nanocrystals Embedded into SiO 2

Influence of γ-irradiation on light emission properties of silicon nanocrystals imbedded into SiO2 film is investigated. It was shown that small doses of γ-irradiation (103–105 rad) lead to enhancement of photoluminescence intensity in the nc-Si/SiO2 samples. This effect was explained by radiation induced passivation of recombination active centers on the nanocrystals surface. High doses of irradiation (~107 rad) lead to the photoluminescence intensity decrease up to 2 times. Radiation treatment of silicon oxide films with embedded amorphous silicon inclusions resulted only in the decrease of the photoluminescence intensity within the whole range of doses (103–5 × 107 rad). Radiation defects resulting in partial quenching of photoluminescence are characterized with the distributed activation energy of annealing with the peak position at ~0.96 eV and the frequency factor 107 s−1. The nature of such defects and the mechanisms of their creation are discussed

On the Growth of the Cauchy-Szegő Transform in the Unit Ball

The growth of analytic and harmonic functions in the unit ball Bn represented by the Cauchy-Stieltjes or Poisson-Stieltjes integral is studied. 18-Pulse rectifier with electronic phase shifting and pulse width modulation

At present, 12-pulse rectifiers with electronic phase shift are known. Unlike classic rectifiers, they do not use phase-shifting transformers and have a unit power factor. Increasing of the rectifier’s pulse makes it possible to improve the harmonic composition of the input current. This article is devoted to the study of the operation of an 18-pulse rectifier with an electronic phase shift. The use of the principle of electronic phase shift leads to different levels of constant voltage at the output of the rectifiers. The introduction of pulse-width modulation contributes to equalizing the output voltages of the 6-pulse rectifiers which are the parts of the converter. In addition, the use of the pulse-width modulation allows eliminating matching magnetic elements which are used to equalize rectifiers output voltages. This improves the mass and dimension parameters of the converter. The results of modeling are presented

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ІНВЕСТИЦІЙНОГО ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ ТУРИСТИЧНОЇ СФЕРИ В УМОВАХ ТРАНСНАЦІОНАЛІЗАЦІЇ СВІТОГОСПОДАРСЬКИХ ПРОЦЕСІВ

The globalization mechanisms of development put requirements for tourist businesses in entering the international level of absorption of other enterprises of the related industries within hotel chains and global travel networks. Consequently, the volume of capitalization of certain TNCs in tourism exceed national and industry capabilities, but because the classical hierarchy of levels of capitalization in the global competitive environment loses its meaning. In this scientific article the features of investment support for the tourism sector in conditions of world economy trans nationalization processes are developed. In particular, the tendencies, the level and outlines a transnational vector of the functioning of tourism; features of the development of the tourism chain are established. The features of development of hotel chains are their transnational nature, the dissemination of technology and knowledge, strong investment opportunities and support. The analysis of the level of capitalization has shown that the leaders in attracting investments in the tourism sector are the United States and China. They are positioned by substantial economic opportunities, existence of tourist potential and huge domestic demand, which provokes the development of tourism infrastructure. TNCs are pursuing a policy of acquisitions, merger and purchase of enterprises serving the areas of insurance, transportation, catering and recreation for the organization of vertical and horizontal travel of the chains. Among the main strategies of financial development completed by hotel TNCs are: direct investments, portfolio investments, franchising and management contracts. The factors that are decisive in the formation of favourable investment climate of individual countries in the context of increasing use of the tourism potential and attraction of foreign investments are allocated in the economic, geographic, infrastructure groups and elements of the hospitality and openness of the society. The flow of revenues for tourism enterprises in the scope of the regional trade, industry and agriculture explains the multiplier effect to increase the gross domestic product in tourism. В данной научной статье раскрыты особенности инвестиционного обеспечения туристической сферы в условиях транснационализации мирохозяйственных процессов. В частности, установлено тенденции, уровень и исследован транснациональный вектор функционирования туристической сферы; представлены особенности развития туристических цепей. Проанализирован уровень капитализации стран и объемов инвестиций в мировой рынок туристических услуг, условия и принципы наращивания бизнесс–деятельности ТНК и туристических цепей; выделены стратегии финансового обеспечения развития, реализуемых гостиничными ТНК, и факторы роста объемов реализованных туристических услуг. Сформированы и сгруппированы факторы улучшения инвестиционного климата, которые  выступают как основополагающие условия развития инвестиционного обеспечения туристической сферы в условиях транснационализации мирохозяйственных процессов. В даній науковій статті розкрито особливості інвестиційного забезпечення туристичної сфери в умовах транснаціоналізації світогосподарських процесів. Зокрема, встановлено тенденції, рівень та окреслено транснаціональний вектор функціонування туристичної сфери; представлено особливості розвитку туристичних ланцюгів. Проаналізовано рівень капіталізації країн і обсягів інвестицій у світовий ринок туристичних послуг; умови та засади нарощення бізнес–діяльності ТНК і туристичних ланцюгів; виокремлено стратегії фінансового забезпечення розвитку, що реалізуються готельними ТНК, та чинники зростання обсягів реалізованих туристичних послуг. Сформовано та згруповано фактори покращення інвестиційного клімату, що виступають як засадничі умови розвитку інвестиційного забезпечення туристичної сфери в умовах транснаціоналізації світогосподарських процесів

Features of the methodology of the development of cadets’ physical qualities during kettlebell lifting activities

La metodología de los autores sobre el desarrollo de las cualidades físicas de los cadetes durante las actividades de levantamiento de pesas se confirma en el artículo y se verifica su eficiencia. 86 cadetes participaron en la investigación. Se formaron los grupos experimentales (EG, n=29) y control (CG, n=57). La investigación se realizó de acuerdo con las siguientes pruebas: carrera de 100 m, carrera de 3 km, inclinación hacia adelante del cuerpo, mantener el cuerpo en posición horizontal, ejercicio de barra de levantamiento, balanceo de cadera, flexión en barras paralelas, ejercicio de poder complejo. Al final del estudio, la mayoría de las pruebas establecieron un nivel significativamente mejor del desarrollo de las cualidades físicas de los cadetes. The authors’ methodology of the development of the physical qualities of cadets during kettlebell lifting activities is substantiated in the article and its efficiency is checked. 86 cadets participated in the research. The experimental (EG, n=29) and control (CG, n=57) groups were formed. The research was conducted according to the following tests: 100 m race, 3 km race, forward inclination of the body, holding the body in a horizontal position, pull-up bar exercise, hipswing-up, push-up on parallel bars, complex power exercise. At the end of the study, a significantly better level of the physical qualities’ development of cadets engaged in kettlebell lifting activities according to the authors’ methodology was established by the majority of tests
