    REGISTERS USED BY MULTI LEVEL MARKETING BUSINESS MEMBERS IN PT. ORINDO ALAM AYU

In this study, the writer conducted a study about register used by multilevel marketing business members in PT. Orindo Alam Ayu. There are twoproblems of the study, they are (1) What are the registers used by the members of multi level marketing business in PT. Orindo Alam Ayu?; (2) What are thecontextual factors influencing the registers used by members of multi levelmarketing business in PT. Orindo Alam Ayu?In this study, the writer used descriptive qualitative approach with homogeneous purposive sampling. The data were conversation between the members and the data source was two small meetings of The Great One Club in PT. Orindo Alam Ayu discussing success plan knowledge and recruiting strategy (new recruitment program start from November) topics. The writer described the contextual analysis of the conversation where the registers used by the members.The writer found 22 registers used by the members of multi level maketingin PT. Orindo Alam Ayu. Some of the registers have common sense but some donot. Then, some registers in carrier levels of PT. Orindo Alam Ayu have analogywith the precious things, such as Gold Executive Director, Sapphire ExecutiveDirector, and Diamond Executive Director. Carrier levels are made based on thevaluable levels of gold, sapphire, and diamond. Diamond has the highest value so it is always at the top of the levels after gold and sapphire. Then, there are seven registers in acronym form such as OOM, BC, WP, and SPO. In contextual factor analysis, generally the writer found most of the contextual factors influencing the speakers are about carrier levels and ordering system. The situation is when the member share information in purpose to make the other members fell enthusiastic to attain next level and the discursive functions always support the topics and the social roles or the situations.The registers used by Multi Level Marketing Business members in PT. Orindo Alam Ayu had relation with the selling system and the carrier level and ordering system in their business. Those registers are important knowledge to reach success in the business. The writer suggested for the next writer to analyzeregister in other business community because business field is the interestingsubject.     Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan kegiatan yang wajib ditempuh oleh mahasiswa S1 UNY program kependidikan, sebab orientasi utamanya ialah kependidikan. Dalam pendidikan terkandung pembinaan (kepribadian), pengembangan (kemampuan atau potensi), peningkatan (pengetahuan), dan tujuan, yang ditujukan pada peserta pendidikan (peserta didik) untuk diwujudkan dalam kehidupan. Kegiatan KKN-PPL dilaksanakan kurang lebih selama dua setengah bulan, dimana mahasiswa KKN-PPL harus benar-benar mempersiapkan diri baik mental maupun fisik. Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) dilaksanakan di SLB Negeri 1 Bantul yang beralamat di Jl.Wates No. 147 KM. 3, Ngestiharjo, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta dan berlangsung dari tanggal 2 Juli 2014 sampai dengan 17 September 2014. Kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan PPL yaitu praktik mengajar dari kelas TK hingga kelas 6. Persiapan yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, bimbingan dengan dosen pembimbing, persiapan sebelum mengajar (pembuatan RPP, pembuatan media, dan konsultasi dengan guru kelas maupun guru pembimbing). Dalam pelaksanaan yaitu adanya persiapan, pelaksanaan mengajar dengan 11 kali praktik mengajar, analisis hasil pelaksanaan PPL dan refleksi. PPL yang dilakukan selama kurang lebih 2 bulan yaitu dari tanggal 2 Juli 2014 sampai 17 September 2014 berjalan dengan lancar. Meskipun dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat hambatan-hambatan namun hal tersebut tidak menjadi masalah yang berarti. Banyak manfaat dan pengalaman yang didapat mahasiswa praktikan selama melaksanakan PPL di SLB N 1 Bantul

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa dikelas VIII SMPN 3 Batukliang Utara pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII dengan jumlah 50 orang yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil secara sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perlakuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar berupa tes soal uraian pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji t independen dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran synectics terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran synectics

    SYNTHESIS OF ETHYL FERULATE AND BUTYL FERULATE BY FISCHER ESTERIFICATION UNDER MICROWAVE IRRADIATION Risa Umami Putri Ferulic acid is known to have activity as an antioxidant. To increase its antioxidant potential, a modification was done through Fischer esterification reaction to turn ferulic acid structure into ethyl and butyl ferulate compounds. Both of these compounds were then synthesized using microwave irradiation. The microwave radiation was estimated to cause the compounds collision and heat production which lead to the quicker reaction and increasing yield. Ethyl and butyl ferulate were formed from ferulic acid and two alcohols with different lengths of carbon chains, namely ethanol and n-buthanol. So, the percentage difference between both compounds’ yields was observed based on each of their steric effects. The results of the syntheses were purified using column chromatography tested further using TLC test, FT-IR spectrophotometry, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and1HNMR spectroscopy. The overall results of this study concluded that the percentage of ethyl ferulate was 37.6±1.8%, considerably higher than butyl ferulate which was 19.1±2.9%.     Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah yang ditemukan di kelas VIII-B MTs Ar-Rohmah Bandung terkait dengan rendahnya kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan perubahan di kelas agar terjadinya peningkatan kearah yang lebih baik salah satunya dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe time token. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Taggart dalam lima siklus. Setiap satu siklus diawali dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan dan lembar wawancara. Berdasarkan perolehan data penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meningkakan kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat siswa pada pembelajaran IPS melalui model cooperative learning mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa pada setiap skor indikator mengalami peningkatan dari siklus satu sampai siklus empat. Peningkatan indikator yang paling signifikan pada setiap siklus adalah mengemukakan pendapat dengan jelas dan dapat dimengerti. untuk indikator mengenai kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat secara analitis dan indikator kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat secara kreatif mengalami peningkatan pada siklus kedua dan keempat. Selanjutnya indikator kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat secara logis mengalami peningkatan pada siklus ketiga dan keempat. Pada saat pelaksanaan siklus satu sampai kelima siswa mampu bertanya, menjawab, menyanggah, mengemukakan pendapat dan mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Selain itu kondisi kelas menjadi lebih aktif serta berkurangnya siswa yang pasif dalam pembelajaran IPS. Kata Kunci : Mengemukakan Pendapat, Model Cooperative Learning, Pembelajaran IPS, Time Token. ABSTRACT This research started from the problem that was founded in the VIII-B grade of MTs ArRohmah Bandung about students’ competence of expressing opinion. The problem that was founded is the low of expressing opinion competence of students at social studies learning. When the teacher ask the students to express their opinion there were only some students that wanted to express their opinion. This research aims to do transformation in the classroom to a good direction such as cooperative learning model time token type implementation. This research is classroom action research with Kemmis and Taggart design research in five cycles. Every cycle was started from plan, action, observation, and reflection. Data collecting technic was observation sheets, field note, interview sheets. The instrument of this research was observation sheets, field note, interview sheets. Based on data collection research that was carried out to increase expressing opinion competence of students at social studies learning used cooperative learning model time token type get increasing at each cycle. It showed that at each score indicator increased from cycle 1 to cycle 4. The most significant improvement indicator was about expressing opinion with a clearly and understandably. The indicator of expressing opinion competence analytically and the indicator of expressing opinion competence creatively increased at cycle two and four. Next, the indicator of expressing opinion competence logically increased at cycle three and four. The student were able to ask, answer, interrupt, expressing opinion and do teamwork. In additional, the class became more active and diminish the passive students in social studies learning.     Optimasi Sumber Karbon Dan Kondisi Fermentasi Produksi Selulosa oleh Strain Bakteri Acetobacter lovaniensis (MGA 6, SLK 1)

    Dalam upaya memperoleh sumber karbon dan kondisi fermentasi selulosa yang paling sesuai oleh strain Acetobacter lovaniensis (MGA 6 dan SLK 1) dilakukan optimasi berbagai faktor fermentasi dengan metode statis. Optimasi sumber karbon dilakukan dengan berbagai cairan buah (nanas, mangga, jeruk, dan pepaya). Berdasarkan sumber karbon dan strain terbaik, selanjutnya dilakukan optimasi kondisi fermentasi yang meliputi konsentrasi sumber karbon, volume inokulum, pH, dan temperatur inkubasi. Penentuan produktivitas selulosa dilakukan pada kondisi optimum dan ditentukan dengan nilai yield. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber karbon terbaik yaitu cairan buah nanas untuk strain MGA 6. Sumber karbon berupa cairan buah nanas dengan kondisi fermentasi yang optimum yaitu konsentrasi sumber karbon dengan perbandingan buah:air adalah 1:11/2, volume inokulum 10 ml, pH medium 6, dan pada temperatur inkubasi 30oC. Produktivitas selulosa dengan sumber karbon berupa cairan buah nanas sebesar 4,41%.  &nbsp

    Abstract : Acne is a common skin disease that begins with increased sebum production and is aggravated by the presence of bacterial attacks. Ashitaba (Angelica keiskei) leaf extract Introduced has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus acne bacteria. The purpose of this study was to assess the antibacterial power of Ashitaba  (Angelica keiskei) leaf extract to the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. The treatment in this study used six treatments consisting of five treatments with the concentration of Ashitaba leaf extract  (5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, and 100%) while one treatment was positive control using tetracycline. The results showed that the inhibitory zone diameter was formed at concentrations of 25% to 100% with the largest diameter being 100%. This gives rise to higher concentrations, the higher the active compounds are Ashitaba leaf extract. Others with positive controls indicate a small inhibitory zone diameter as Staphylococcus aureus bacteria have been resistance with this antibiotic due to long-term use

    Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan pendekatan Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) pada pokok bahasan fluida statis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Gedangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design yang termasuk ke dalam kelompok desain quasi eksperimental dan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan rencana pembelajaran, aktivitas, keterampilan berpikir kritis, respon siswa serta kendala yang dihadapi saat menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan pendekatan SETS pada pokok bahasan fluida statis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 yang menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan pendekatan SETS dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yang menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri tanpa pendekatan SETS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan rencana pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen 1 mendapatkan persentase sebesar 85,1% dengan kategori sangat baik dan di kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 80,8% dengan kategori sangat baik. Persentase aktivitas siswa di kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 81,12% dengan kategori sangat baik sedangkan di kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 75,18% dengan kategori baik. Selain itu berdasarkan analisis aspek kognitif siswa menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dan uji-t satu pihak menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas eksperimen 1 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas eksperimen 2 dengan nilai thitung sebesar 3,92. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan pendekatan SETS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pokok bahasan fluida statis di SMAN 1 Gedangan telah tercapai dan mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa sebesar 85,70%. Dengan demikian dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan pendekatan SETS dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. This research is quantitative research design with non-equivalent control group design were included in the group of quasi-experimental design and aims to describe the implementation of lesson plans, activities, critical thinking skills, students' respones and the constraints faced when implementing inquiry learning model with SETS approach on the subject of static fluid. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class 1 that implement inquiry learning model with SETS approach and class XI IPA 5 as the experimental class 2 that implement inquiry learning model without SETS approach. The results showed that the implementation of the lesson plans in the experimental class 1 gets a percentage of 85.1% with very good categories and in the experimental class 2 was 80.8% with a very good category. The percentage of student activity in the experimental class 1 was 81.12% with a very good category, while in the experimental class 2 was 75.18% with a good category. Also based on the analysis of the cognitive aspects of students using t-test two parties and one party t-test showed that the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class 1 was better than the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class 2 with a value of tcount was 3.92. This shows that the application of inquiry learning model with SETS approach to improve students critical thinking skills on the subject of static fluid in SMAN 1 Gedangan have achieved and get a positive respone from the students was 85.70%. Thus it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model with SETS approach can be applied in teaching of physics to improve students critical thinking skills.     Pemanfaatan tanaman sebagai bahan bangunan dan kerajinan merupakan kegiatan turun temurun yang telah dipraktikkan oleh Suku Using Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Suku Using memanfaatkan tanaman sebagai bahan bangunan dan kerajinan menjadi beranekaragam jenis konstruksi bangunan dan produk kerajinan yaitu atap, pintu, jendela, kusen, lantai, tiang, plafon, reng, bekisting, ukiran, peralatan/perabot rumah tangga, hiasan, alat musik, anyaman, pewarna tekstil dan seni barong, untuk mendukung kegiatan pemanfaatan tanaman perlu adanya identifikasi mengenai potensi tanaman berguna. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tanamanyang berpotensi sebagai bahan bangunan dan kerajinan, mengetahui pengetahuan masyarakat Suku Using Banyuwangi tentang pemanfaatan tanaman sebagai bahan bangunan dan kerajinandengan jumlah responden yaitu 390 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan teknik survei lapangan dan wawancara dari narasumber yang berprofesi sebagai ketua adat, tukang bangunan, pengrajin kerajinan khas banyuwangi dan masyarakat Suku Using. Data yang diambil meliputi data keanekaragaman tanaman yang digunakan masyarakat Using sebagai bahan bangunan dan kerajinan.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juli 2018 di lima kecamatan di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yaitu meliputi Kecamatan Glagah, Kecamatan Giri, Kecamatan Kabat, Kecamatan Singojuruh dan Kecamatan Rogojampi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 33 spesies yang dimanfaatkaan sebagai bahanbangunan dan kerajinan oleh masyarakat Using terdiri atas 18 familia. Spesies yang paling dominan digunakan adalah jati (Tectona grandis), kelapa (Cocos nucifera), bambu (Gigantochloa apus), mahoni (Swietenia mahagoni), nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus), pulai (Alstonia scholaris), kopi (Coffea sp.), rotan (Calamus javanensis), dan bendo (Artocarpus elasticus). &nbsp
