Higher education institutions are trying to give a greater flexibility and individualization, generally through the use of new digital pedagogies. The goal of the meta-analysis is to evaluate the efficacy of a real-world experiences using digital pedagogies in higher education. To that end, the PubMed and Medline databases have been combed for relevant research through December 2021, and the eligible papers were selected using the PRISMA-based selection approach. One compared digital pedagogies to traditional teaching approaches. Various digital pedagogy technologies, such as video tutorials/social media, mobile app/computer software, flipped classroom, and virtual reality/simulation, were applied in this research. As a consequence of the present search, twenty-three research with a total of 1450 participants adopting digital pedagogies for higher education were discovered. The findings advised that higher education stakeholders use an innovative teaching strategy based on digital pedagogies. This integration of digital tools generates an effective learning environment and encourages the self-learning, which enhances the pedagogical performance of students and teachers

The goal of this meta-analysis is to assess the effectiveness of blended learning in biomedical engineering. To that end, the PubMed and Medline databases were combed for relevant research through January 2022, and the eligible papers were picked using a rigorous PRISMA-based selection approach. Blended learning was compared to traditional teaching approaches in all of the research considered. As a consequence of the present search, eighteen research articles with a total of 3097 participants adopting blended learning for biomedical engineering education were dis-covered. Two studies were included from each of the following countries including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Spain and USA. While, one study from China, Denmark, France, KSA, Malaysia, Serbia, Turkey and United Kingdom was included. The results of a metaanalysis employing random effects models revealed a significant difference between all blended learning and conventional learning methods [MD and its 95% CI were 2.36 (0.94, 3.78)]. The findings advised that biomedical engineering education stakeholders use an innovative teaching strategy based on digital pedagogies

The digital hub for the medical university is the embodiment of a synergetic model of the educational system. It is an educational and me-thodical arsenal forms the content of the digital hubs. It is also an organiza-tional model that focuses on the use of information and communication technologies. The purpose of this scientific research is to examine two fun-damental elements of the digital hub in medical education: logistics and teaching. The methodology of comparative analysis that is used is closely re-lated to the synergetic principles of the modern scientific paradigm. This way we can see different levels of effectiveness of digital educational hubs in Ukraine and Europe in the training of future medical professionals. The reason is significantly higher rates of integrative factors in European educational hubs, compared to Ukrainian counterparts. Thus, filing hubs make up the in-formation and digital space of Ukrainian higher medical education. European counterparts have already integrated the potential of the digital hub not only in the educational space but also in the clinical environment

The modern requirements of the information society dictate an update on the work of educational institutions, in particular on the formation of soft skills among higher education applicants. The article aims to analyze educational trends and the role of soft skills for the professional development of future specialists in the conditions of distance learning. The article uses general scientific (analysis, synthesis) and special (abstraction, prediction) research methods. In general, it is noted that soft skills are important for career development, but it is difficult to measure them empirically. In European and American universities, the acquisition of soft skills has long been solved by additional classes and additional paid education, but since COVID-19 there are many digital platforms where you can learn them through distance education

Classical theories that give rise to the study of emotional intelligence and the latest developments of modern researchers are considered. Emotional intelligence is an important component of the personality of workers of helping professions, including psychologists. Although the issue of the development of emotional intelligence is quite well studied, only a small part of research covered the motivational factors that affect its level. The article draws attention to the motivational components of personality, as possible factors in the development of emotional intelligence. The novelty of the study is the identification of motivational factors that affect the emotional intelligence of practical psychologists. The aim of the article was to find out the features of emotional intelligence of practicing psychologists and the factors that affect its level in this group of subjects. The study was conducted through an electronic anonymous survey. A set of diagnostic methods was chosen, with quantitative and qualitative methods used for their processing (Statistica 16). It was found that the medium and high level of development of components of emotional intelligence dominate in subjects, and its development is significantly influenced by the components of prosocial motivation of an individual. We see the prospect of further research in a more detailed study of the peculiarities of the development of emotional intelligence of workers of various helping professions.

Reducing the gap between professional opportunities of graduates of medical education institutions and needs of patients is the priority of medical education. The introduction of interactive methods, in particular the case study method, can help solve this problem. The aim of this study was to investigate how the application of the case method in medical education affects the learning outcomes of students and acquisition of practical experience. Case method was used to identify its impact on the acquisition of practical skills, abilities and clinical experience by future physicians. Students’ opinions on the effectiveness of the case method in gaining practical experience were surveyed. The study showed that the case method helped students find solutions required by clinical situations, as they used not only theoretical knowledge, but also acquired practical skills and clinical experience. The case method also increases students’ confidence in their professional abilities. This experimental study proved the high efficiency of using the case method in medical education to gain practical experience by students in the education institution. It can be useful for scholars and educators who are looking for, developing and implementing effective teaching methods that allow students to acquire the necessary competencies
