en FacebookIn this paper, we aim to study a new Body-Object displayed on the social
networks: the Body-@, different from the traditional set of entrails. Away from the
comparison with the cyborg and the feminism, we are going to focus on the oral
construction of LiveJournal, the one that destroys the intimate notes. Also, we are going to

With Cartesio appears the ontological rupture between the res cogitans and the res extensa, division that it goes accompanied by the dichotomy certainty – doubt. Applying this outline to the human being, we find a conscience separated from the world, a body-machine, a cogito and a body that aren’t intrinsically united. For that reason, the vision of a body is not to enter in contact with a conscience, which, ultimately, prevents to explain the other people's existence. Merleau-Ponty seeks to give solution to the problem of the alterity and, for that reason, he criticizes the Cartesian position. To give some few examples tried in this paper, Merleau-Ponty attacks the notion of conscience, the representation, the introspection, the reasoning for analogy
Celle-là apparaît à la peinture moderne à laquelle la séparation sujet-objet disparaît pour laisser surgir le co-naître du être-au-monde — être-du-monde.[Abstract] The broad outlines of this paper is to show how Merleau-Ponty tried to overcome the epistemological dichotomy subject-object between the perception and the picture. The conceptual building elaborated around the character non-positional of perception is insufficient because its supposes the past ontology. For this reason, Merleau-Ponty proposes the ontology of the flesh that shows in the modern picture. In it, the classical dichotomy disappear and we can observe the co-birth of a being-in-the-world and a being-at-the-world
The fundamental objective of this paper is to show the prejudices that underlie the treatment of the mental illness. We begin defining how our life is in the “natural attitude” in which we accept as natural certain beliefs without foundation. We defend that the epojé is the appropriate method to make that commitent presents. After setting the method, we describe what happens to a mental sick person in a psychiatrist- psychologist’s cabinet and, from this situation, we begin to figure out the prejudices of “double realities”, “naturalistic”, “identical method” and the “naturalization of the psychic symptom”
I try to study in this paper the virtual reality called SecondLife making use of the phenomenological method. For this purpose I analyze what happens in the natural attitude where reality is the factual existence here-and-now, and against which the virtual reality bears a duplication of planes: the real-real thing and my digital copy. To analyze what sustains the concept of reality it is necessary to make use of the epokhe. By means of it, we find out the relation of a bodily subject to the world, in a sense that is not given in SecondLife, a virtual universe whose zero-point is just my avatar, that is, the physical object that represents me. The paper unfolds of the consequences of this contrast.
In his last works, Merleau-Ponty elaborates a new ontology to overcome the dichotomies
of the classic objective ontology. In this intent, he trips with a fundamental problem:
how to express this ontology of the communion. He finds the solution in the painting of
Cézanne. In this paper, we oppose the classic objective ontology and her representation
way by means of the space of the lineal perspective and the Merleau-Ponty’s ontology that
it is exemplified in Cézanne

The purpose of the following article is to elucidate certain aspects of the intersubjective dynamics of the expression and recognition of the pain of others. To this end, recourse has been made to the artistic notion of embodiment, present in the modern theatrical tradition of psychological realism, as opposed to its contemporary reinterpretation in action art or performance. While, in the first case, the embodiment of pain in drama has to do with the embodiment of a character who is suffering, which implies a process of disembodiment, the performance art embodiment of pain can be defined, on the other hand, as a process of embodying vulnerability. From the description and contrast of both dramatic approaches interesting considerations arise about possible mismatches or disconnections in the intersubjective circuit of pain, as well as an understanding of the rhetoric of pain as a communication strategy in the hipertechnological society.
