    Abstrak: Metode merupakan suatu hal yang urgen dalam proses pembelajaran karena dengan penerapan metode yang sesuai dengan materi, diyakini tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai, termasuk pembelajaran kitab kuning yang tidak memiliki tanda baca atau disebut kitab gundul di Pondok Khusus Al-Halimy Sesela. Sejumlah metode yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran kitab kuning yaitu metode Bandongan atau Wetonan, Sorogan, Halaqoh, Diskusi, Tanya Jawab, dan metode Ceramah. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning di Pondok Pesantren Khusus Al-Halimy Sesela. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tingkat kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran kitab kuning di Pondok tersebut. Abstract:  Method is an urgent thing in the learning process because with the application of methods that are in accordance with the material, it is believed that the purpose of learning can be achieved, including learning the yellow book that does not have punctuation or called the bald book in Pondok Khusus Al-Halimy Sesela.     This paper explained the pattern of overcoming difficulties of foreign language learning, identifying based one previous study in learning English as a foreign language. Yet, it also shows general strategies that are useful to overcome the difficulties of acquiring a foreign language based on processability theory. Then, it examines that for learning a foreign language, as the learners need proper time and good management; however, the concept reveals need to focus that teacher’s role, learning methods, and strategies are advised. As the previous study shows of authentic material motivated leaners to improve their focus study in a foreign language as a subject.Keywords: process language learning, language Acquisition, language skill, proccessability theory

    Senior Teacher Induction: An Alternative Apprenticeship Model for Pre Service Teacher

    This paper reports on a case study on the role of Senior Teacher Induction (STI) in promoting pre service teachers’ pedagogical competence at STKIP Al Hikmah Surabaya. This study is an attempt to promote an alternative apprenticeship model for pre service teachers. Students in STKIP Al Hikmah have been permitted to enter host schools since the first semester. STKIP Al Hikmah incorporated blended learning approach within the curriculum. Activities in campus and at host schools were fully integrated. Students spent half of their time at host schools. They sat in classes taught by senior teachers. They had to observe activities done by the senior teacher such as how the teacher opened the class, how the teacher explained the materials, how the teacher interacted with his students, how the teacher managed the class, how the teacher assessed the students’ performance and so on. The students had to discuss with senior teachers after class for further information dealing with the class observation. Then, the students were asked to search any relevant references to support their findings. They had to note the result of the observation. Then, consult it to his supervising lecturer for comments and feedbacks. In addition, the students were challenged to design and modify their own teaching version. Eventually, they had to present their report in general stadium. The result of the research showed that 1) Senior Teacher Induction (STI) enabled to raise students’ pedagogical interest and involved them in class interaction in advance; 2) STI enabled the students to observe teaching skills they have to achieve as being future teacher

    MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA BAHASA INGGRIS MELALUI CHART PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN (SMK)

    This research was conducted to find out whether chart can be used to improve the students’ speaking ability and to know whether it also can be used to improve the students’ learning activities. This was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles.  Each cycle comprised of planning, action, observation and interpretation, analysis and reflection. The subjects of the research were the students of the twelevth gradeof software engineering class in the academic year 2022/2023. To collect the data of the learning product and the learning process, the researcher used speaking test and observation sheets as the instruments. The result of the learning product shows that the using of the chart as a media and also as a technique in teaching speaking can improve the students’ speaking ability. In cycle 1, there are  8 of 23 students  (34.8%)  who  gain  score ≄ 70,  while  in cycle  2,  there  are  16 of 23 students (69.6%) who gain score ≄ 70. For  the  learning  process, dealing  with  the students’ activities,  there  are  only 11 students (47.8%) who did 80% of the activities during the teaching learning process in cycle 1, but there are 17 students (73.9%) who did 80% of the activities in cycle 2. Thus, it can be inferred that the chart can be used in teaching and improving the students’ speaking ability and also helping the students’ learning activities.   Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah grafik atau diagram dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dan untuk mengetahui apakah juga dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan interpretasi, analisis dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas dua belas kompetensi keahlian rekayasa perangkat lunakpada tahun akademik 2022/2023. Untuk mengumpulkan data produk pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran, peneliti menggunakan tes berbicara dan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen.Penemuan dari hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bagan sebagai media dan juga sebagai teknik dalam pengajaran berbicara dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Pada siklus 1, ada 8 dari 23 siswa (34.8%) yang memperoleh nilai ≄ 70, sedangkan pada siklus 2 ada 16 dari 23 siswa (69.6%) yang memperoleh nilai ≄ 70. Untuk proses pembelajaran, terkait dengan aktivitas siswa, hanya ada 11 siswa (47.8% ) yang melakukan 80% kegiatan selama proses belajar mengajar di siklus 1, namun ada 17 siswa (73.9%) yang melakukan 80% aktivitas pada siklus 2. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa chart dapat digunakan dalam pengajaran dan peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa dan juga membantu kegiatan belajar siswa

    Pendidikan merupakan langkah kongkrit pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam menempuh dunia global sekarang ini yang makin menantang, baik dari segi spritual, sosial dan emosional. Dengan demikian pendidikan merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam memecahkan permasalahan bangsa yang saat ini makin merosot terutama pondok peantren sebagai wadah menggali ilmu-ilmu agama melalui kitab-kitab turats (baca: kitab kuning). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam proses pengumpulan data-data dari lapangan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini ingin diungkap bagaimana proses belajar mengajar berbicara bahasa Arab berbasis komunikatif interaktif dalam bingkai pembelaran kitab kuning dan kendala apa saja yang dihadapi siswa. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukakan di pondok pesantren Al-Halimy khusus putra menemukan bentuk kegiatan yang mendukung meningkatnya keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab santri dengan memberikan materi penguatan bahasa Arab seperti: kosa kata (mufradat), imla’ dan nahu dan shraf, dan menggunakan metode-metode variatif sesuai dengan materi yang diajar. Kitab kuning juga sebagai basis pembelajaran disana sangat mempengaruhi kecakapan berbicara santri, selain itu juga milieu tidak bisa kita napikan yang punya peran penting dalam lingkungan pondok pesantren

    The background of the researcher to discuss this research is there is a discrepancy in the delivery of teaching material by some teachers. Therefore, researchers want to know, 1) how the teacher plans to deliver the material when teaching Arabic, 2) how the application of the material is delivered, and 3) how is the suitability of the delivery of teacher teaching material with cybernetics theory. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by taking place in the Darul Ulum Jombang Superior Madrasah Aliyah. The rearch subjects were Arabic teachers and IAI 3 class X students at the superior Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Jombang. Data collection using observation, interview, quessionare and documentation. This study. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of delivering Arabic language teaching materials with cybernatics in the Darul Ulum Superior Madrasah Aliyah. Latar belakang peneliti membahas penelitian ini adalah adanya ketidaksesuaian penyampaian materi ajar oleh sebagian guru. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti ingin melihat 1) bagaimana perencanaan guru dalam menyampaikan materi ketika mengajar bahasa Arab, 2) bagaimana penerapan dari penyampaian materi tersebut dan 3) bagaimana kesesuaian penyampaian materi ajar guru dengan teori sibernetik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengambil latar tempat di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Darul Ulum Jombang.     Productive Livelihood For Children On QS. An-Nisa Verse 09

    A living became a necessity in domestic life. Most studies of living still revolve around consumptive livelihood (an-nafaqah al-istihlākiyah), because read from an outward point of the texts indicate that living is in the form of food, drink, clothing, food, and domicile. Even though these consumptive details can be productive. Productive livelihood (an-nafaqah al-isti'māliyah) for children has not been so massive discussion among researchers. Some published research on productive living still requires a stronger foothold as a legal backing. From there, researchers want to provide the basic foundation of QS. An-Nisa': 09 as a formalistic legal basis in order to be more effective in taking application actions in the practical realm of each family. With the approach of Islamic legal philosophy, researchers read and study QS. An-Nisa': 09, is the verse relevant as the basic basis for productive livelihood for children? And what are the laws born of it? From this study, the results obtained are 1) this verse is relevant to be used as a basis for the concept of productive livelihood for children. 2) with the approach of Islamic legal philosophy gave conclusion of law a) the necessity of applying productive income for children to families who have knowledge and an established economy; b) be an encouragement for families with knowledge or established economies to manage management towards productive livelihood for children; c) does not apply to those who do not have the capacity of both or one of them.   Keywords: productive livelihood, children, QS.     Abstrak: Problematika yang sering ditemukan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa arab adalah problem liguistik yang kendala dalam menemukan ide-ide pokok dalam konteks pembelajaran sehingga siswa kesulitan dalam berbicara untuk menjelaskan untuk atau memberikan argument terkait materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Hal ini berakibat pada multi tafsir dan pesan-pesan pembelajaran menjadi sulit untuk dipahami oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan: Untuk mengetahui problematika dan solusi apa yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan tujuan untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami subyek penelitian. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan tehnik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Hubberman: reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian: Problematika dan solusi yang dilakukan dalam peningkatan kemampuan berbicara berbasis komunikatif intraktif dalam bingkai pembelajaran kitab kuning terdiri dari beberapa faktor yaitu: bakat, minat, motivasi dan kemampuan awal siswa yang termasuk pada faktor internal. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya terdiri dari guru, kurikulum dan milieu.Problems that are often found by teachers in the process of learning Arabic language is liguistic problems that constraints in finding the main ideas in the context of learning so that students have difficulty in speaking to explain to or give arguments related to the material delivered by the teacher. T his results in multi-interpretation and learning messages becoming difficult for students to understand. This study aims: To find out the problem and what solutions are done in improving the ability of Arabic speaking skills. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the aim of understanding the phenomenon of what the study subjects experienced.
