    UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR TEKNIK KENDARAAN RINGAN PADA KOMPETENSI MOTOR BAKAR MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA ENGINE CUTTING

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran: (1) Penerapan media Engine Cutting dalam pembelajaran Teknik Kendaraan Ringan pada kompetensi motor bakar. (2) Peningkatan motivasi belajar Teknik Kendaraan Ringan pada Kompetensi Motor Bakar dengan menggunakan Media Engine Cutting pada Siswa Kelas X TKR1 SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk Kabupaten Klaten.( 3) Peningkatan hasil belajar Teknik Kendaraan Ringan pada Kompetensi Motor Bakar dengan menggunakan Media Engine Cutting pada Siswa Kelas X TKR1 SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk Kabupaten Klaten pada semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yaitu bentuk penelitian dalam upaya memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan pembelajaan, penelitian ini terdiri tiga siklus, dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil refleksi digunakan untuk melakukan tindakan pada siklus berikutnya sehingga diperoleh peningkatan. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes, kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Sumber data penelitian adalah siswa dan guru. Uji validitas dengan kisi-kisi soal, kisi-kisi angket dan review informan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis kritis dan komparatif. Hasil analisis tindakan kelas dengan penerapan penggunaan media pembelajaran enggine cutting dalam pembelajaran Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Kompetensi Motor Bakar pada Siswa Kelas X TKR1 SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk Kabupaten Klaten menunjukkan bahwa motivasi siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I hanya ada 10 siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi atau sebesar 29,41%. Pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang bermotivasi tinggi sebanyak 15 siswa atau sebesar 15,14%. Sedangkan pada siklus III, jumlah siswa yang bermotivasi tinggi sebanyak 30 siswa atau sebesar 88,24%. Peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang sudah mencapai KKM sebesar 32,35,% dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 67,79. Pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang sudah mencapai KKM sebesar 58,82 % dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,35. Sedangkan pada siklus III semua siswa sudah mencapai KKM 100% dengan ratarata nilai sebesar 84,78. Sehingga kesimpulannya adalah: (1) Penerapan penggunaan media pembelajaran enggine cutting dalam pembelajaran Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Kompetensi Motor Bakar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. (2) Penerapan penggunaan media pembelajaran enggine cutting dalam pembelajaran Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Kompetensi Motor Bakar dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada Siswa Kelas X TKR1 SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk Kabupaten Klaten.     WSN infrastructure for green campus development

    A system providing accurate environmental data for campus stakeholders to formulate and evaluate policies of the sustainable campus development is needed. This paper presents the design of WSN infrastructure capable of providing accurate, real-time and reliable environment data, namely PM2.5, SO2, CO, O3, NO2, temperature, humidity, soil moisture and light intensity to be analyzed and presented by servers. This infrastructure is composed of fixed sensor nodes, mobile sensor nodes, display nodes and server nodes. The sensor node provides environment raw data to the server using an RF transceiver. The server processes, stores and presents environment information to public users through Internet and mobile network. This infrastructure can be used as a platform to provide environmental data to decision support system for campus stakeholders, so that a recommendation can be made

    Expert system for campus environment indexing in wireless sensor network

    Prognostic Nutritional Index (PNI) as a Prognostic Factor in Stage IV Lung Adenocarcinoma

    Background. Based on nutritional and immunological indicators, the Prognostic Nutritional Index (PNI) is one of the prognostic indicators besides the Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) and Glasgow Prognostic Score (GPS). PNI can serve as a biomarker to help guide clinical practice and promote clinical outcomes for lung cancer patients. PNI was superior to Neutrophil- to- Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) in the prediction of progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). Objectives. To analyze the association between a low PNI score (PNI <40) and increased risk of mortality among stage IV pulmonary adenocarcinoma patients.Methods. A cohort-retrospective study was performed by extracting PNI data from medical records and the mortality of patients with stage IV pulmonary adenocarcinoma. A total of 265 patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, based on the medical records of patients with stage IV pulmonary adenocarcinoma who were hospitalized at Dr. Sardjito hospital Yogyakarta between January 1st, 2016 and July 1st, 2019. PNI score were calculated as follows: 10 x serum albumin (g/dl) + 0.005 x lymphocyte count (per mm3). Mortality was considered six months since the diagnosis. Chi-square tests were used to analyze the proportions of mortality and confounders. Multiple logistic regression tests were used to analyze the association between PNI and mortality.Results. Subjects with PNI score <40 were at risk of mortality three times higher than subjects with PNI score ≥40 (adjustedOR 3.356, 95% CI 1.165 - 9.670, p = 0.025).Conclusion. PNI score significantly affected the mortality in patients with stage IV pulmonary adenocarcinoma

    Traumatic Inhalation due to Merapi Volcanic Ash

    Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is fibrotic lung diseases of the pulmonary parenchyma following chronic inhalation of inorganic dusts containing crystalline silicon dioxide. The acute manifestations observed after heavy ashfalls include attacks of asthma and bronchitis, with an increased reporting of cough, breathlessness, chest tightness, and wheezing due to irritation of the lining of the airways. The chronic health condition of most concern is silicosis, a diffuse nodular fibrosis of the lungs, develops slowly, usually appearing 10 to 30 years after first exposure. A 35 years old male was admitted to Sardjito Hospital, Yogyakarta with complaints of progressive dyspnoea, right side chest pain since last 3 month and periodic episodes of dry cough. He had history of exposure to volcanic ash at the location around volcano eruption for about 10 month. Examination revealed hyperresonantnote, diminished vesicular breath sounds in lower right side of the chest. The chest X-ray presence leads to bleb. Based on the clinical and radiological suspicion of pneumoconiosis the patient was submitted to computed tomography of the chest and revealed bilateral multiple bullae mainly at the right lung field. The biopsy specimen verified the diagnosis of anthrocosilicosis. There is no proven specific therapy for any form of silicosis. Symptomatic therapy should include treatment of airflow limitation with bronchodilators, aggressive management of respiratory tract infection with antibiotics, and use of supplemental oxygen (if indicated) toprevent complications of chronic hypoxemia.Key words: Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, inorganic particles inhalation, dyspnoea, bullae

    Hasil Turnitin "Control system of train speed based on fuzzy logic controller"

    This study aims to implement fuzzy logic controller using Mamdani and defuzzification method of Centroid, as a controller for train speed. Research methodology employed consists of Modeling, Design, Testing, and Analysis. At Modeling phase, the system is modeled utilizing transfer function model; at Design phase, the system with fuzzy logic controller is designed; at Testing phase, system output is examined by utilizing four types of testing (testing of rise and fall, testing of pulse input, and testing with simulated scenarios); at Analysis phase, system output is analyzed based on rise time, fall time, settling time, and average steady-state error. The results showed that when tested with the reference speed of rise and fall, the system with fuzzy logic controller has an average value of rise time 2.3 seconds, fall time 2.44 seconds, and settling time 3.58 seconds; when tested with testing of pulse input, the system has an average value of rise time 2.359 seconds, fall time 4.238 seconds, and settling time 4.1125 seconds. Train simulation results with additional resistance showed that system using fuzzy logic controller has an an average value of error 2

    Environmental health is an important issue today due to the increasing number of people living in urban areas and the threat to human health from various kinds of pollution. It is very dangerous for us to carry out daily activities where the health of the environment cannot be known with certainty. In this research we study, understand, design and develop smartphone applications that can indicate if the environment where we conduct our everyday activities is free from harmful pollution. The measurement of various types of pollution requires a variety of sensors. This study examines which types of pollution can be detected by today's modern smartphones. In addition to pollution observations, today's smartphones also provide sensors that measure acoustic quantities, light strength, and air pressure. The aim of this research is the development of mobile device applications (Android) and external sensors. The applications to be developed are expected to monitor and provide early warning on the environmental health conditions of a place in real-time. People can then avoid places where pollution levels endanger human health

    Skripsi ini membahas metode pembelajaran qur’an hadist di kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran Blora. Hal ini dilatar belakangi berdasarkan penulis yang pernah memandu dan mengawasi anak-anak kelas VIII M.Ts Muhammadiyah membaca al qur’an (tadarus) sepuluh menit dimulainya jam pelajaran pertama atau 10 menit sebelum jam 7 pagi. Latar belakang tersebut menuntut keingintahuan penulis terhadap metode pembelajaran qur’an hadist di kelas VIII M.Ts Muhammadiyah Blora. Studi ini dimaksudkan untuk menjawab permasalahan: (1) metode apakah yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran qur’an hadist di kelas VIII M.Ts Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran Blora? (2) Problematika apakah yang dihadapi guru qur’an hadist dalam pembelajaran qur’an hadist di kelas VIII M. Ts Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran Blora?. Permasalahan tersebut dibahas melalui studi lapangan (diskriptif kualitatif) yang di laksanakan di M. Ts Muhammadiyah kelas VIII serta dijadikan sumber data untuk mendapatkan potret metode pembelajaran serta hal-hal yang terkait yang sudah penulis sampaikan. Datanya diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi, Dokumentasi dan menggunakan angket. Semua data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis metode induktif dan metode deduktif , Triangulasi data serta dengan bantuan teknik analisis kuantitatif untuk mempresentase hasil dari angket siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Metode Ceramah, Metode Membaca, Metode Diskusi, Metode Tanya Jawab, Metode Drill menurut penulis adalah drill atau latihan menulis, Metode Hafalan. (2) problematika terhadap penggunaan metode metode yang digunakan guru qur’an hadist kelas VIII M. Ts Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran sebagai berikut :Faktor asal sekolah anak dan juga pendidikan non formal keagamaan akan sangat berpengaruh terutama terhadap metode membaca, menulis, menghafal, Faktor kemampuan anak yang berbeda-beda akan berpengaruh pada metode pembelajaran, disinilah guru sangat penting untu menentukan metode yang tepat. Ceramah adalah metode yang sangat sering digunakan di, menurut penulis memang mengharuskan dengan menggunakan ceramah mata pelajaran ini selain itu juga dengan pertimbangan faktor siswa yang lebih banyak lulusan dari SD, Faktor dari guru yang bersangkutan juga menjadi problematika dalam metode pembelajaran, Penggunaan metode drill menulis, drill membaca ataupun drill menghafalkan masih kurang intensitasnya
