    Diseño de un proyecto para implementar la simulación como metodología didáctica en el Grado de Enfermería

    [Resumen] La simulación se ha ido introduciendo en los procesos educativos en el ámbito sanitario, siendo un pilar en la metodología docente en nuestros días. La simulación se define como las actividades que imitan la realidad del entorno clínico, diseñado para entrenar procedimientos, toma de decisiones y aplicar el pensamiento crítico. Mediante la simulación se trabajan habilidades técnicas y habilidades no técnicas basadas en el CRM (Crew Resource Management) y en la cultura de seguridad y hacen referencia, entre otras, al trabajo en equipo, el liderazgo y a la comunicación eficaz. El objetivo principal del proyecto es introducir la simulación clínica en el Grado de Enfermería. El proyecto consta de 3 fases diferenciadas. La primera fase es la creación de un grupo de trabajo de profesorado voluntario en el cual se trabajarán varios puntos: estructura, dotación económica y objetivos; la segunda fase se realizará la propuesta del proyecto; la tercera fase será la formación del profesorado. La implementación de la simulación en el Grado de Enfermería será secuencial y se realizarán una evaluación anual y final, por alumnos y docentes del Grado de Enfermería.[Abstract] Simulation has been introduced into educational processes in healthcare, being a pillar in the teaching methodology in nowdays. Simulation is described as the activities that mimic the reality of the clinical setting, designed to train procedures, decision making and applying critical thinking. Simulation assist technical and non-technical skills based on the CRM (Crew Resource Management) and safety culture and which make reference to teamwork, leadership and effective communication. The main objective of the project is to introduce clinical simulation in the Nursing Degree. The project consists of 3 stages. The first stage will be the creation of a working group of voluntary teachers in which several points will work on: structure, financial resources and objectives; the second stage will be present the project proposal; the third stage will be teacher training. The implementation of the simulation in the Nursing Degree will be sequential and there will be an annual and final evaluation by students and teachers of the Nursing Degree

    Separation of Chrom(VI) From Electroplating Waste Using Polymer Inclusion Membran (PIM) Method

    Telah dilakukan penelitian pemisahan logam krom(VI) menggunakan metode polymer inclusion membrane (PIM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan PIM, melakukan pemisahan ion logam krom(VI) menggunakan PIM dan menentukan pengaruh konsentrasi fasa umpan, ketebalan membran dan banyaknya pemakaian membran terhadap difusi ion logam krom(VI). PIM dibuat dengan mencampurkan Aliquat 336-tributyl phosphate (TBP) sebagai senyawa pembawa, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sebagai polimer dasar, dibutyl ether (DBE) sebagai plasticizer dan tetrahydrofuran (THF) sebagai pelarut. Membran PIM diletakkan diantara fasa umpan sebagai sumber analit dan fasa penerima sebagai hasil pemisahan. Fasa umpan adalah limbah elektroplating yang mengandung logam krom(VI) dengan pH 4, sedangkan fasa penerima adalah larutan NaCl 2 N dengan pH 6,7. Variabel berubah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsentrasi fasa umpan dengan variasi pengenceran: 100x, 50x dan 10x, ketebalan membran: 25 μm, 20 μm dan 10 μm dan pemakaian membran sebanyak 3 kali. Kadar ion logam krom(VI) yang berdifusi sesudah proses pemisahan dianalisis menggunakan atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Uji stabilitas membran dilakukan dengan cara analisis keberadaan senyawa komponen penyusun membran di dalam fasa umpan dan fasa penerima. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Sedangkan analisis scanning electron microscopy (SEM) dilakukan untuk mengetahui morfologi permukaan membran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ion logam krom(VI) yang paling banyak berdifusi dari fasa umpan sebesar 99,24 % sedangkan yang berdifusi ke fasa penerima sebesar 85,88 %. Difusi ion logam tertinggi terjadi pada pemakaian pertama membran PIM dengan ketebalan 10 μm dan konsentrasi fasa umpan 10,55 ppm (hasil dari 100 kali pengenceran). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa difusi ion logam krom(VI) dipengaruhi oleh konsentrasi fasa umpan, ketebalan membran dan jumlah pemakaian membran

    UMA ATUALIZAÇÃO DA LÓGICA INTERNA DE COMPETIÇÃO DO COMBATE NO TAEKWONDO

    This manuscript addresses the internal logic of sparring taekwondo, regulated by the World Taekwondo Federation, to explain motor actions used in competitions. A narrative review was conducted on Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, Ebsco, PubMed, ProQuest, and Dialnet databases, guided by structural and functional taekwondo parameters with no limits as to year of publication or language used. The authors describe the various elements that make up the sport’s internal logic such as regulation, space, time, motor communication, roles and sub-roles in addition to the techniques or execution models that explain their special characteristics. This could assist in further examining the characteristics of that sport, defining combat actions, and contextualizing the real competitive situation by adapting tactical taekwondo sequences. Being aware of this sport’s unique characteristics will enable creating the necessary framework to continue research on Olympic-level taekwondo. El objetivo de este manuscrito es abordar la lógica interna del taekwondo de competición regulado por la Federación Mundial de Taekwondo para explicar la acción motriz en la competición. Se realizó una revisión narrativa basada en los parámetros estructurales y funcionales del taekwondo en las bases de datos del Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, Ebsco, PubMed, ProQuest y Dialnet sin limitar el año de publicación ni el idioma. Los autores se refieren a los diversos elementos que componen la lógica interna mencionada, como reglamento, espacio, tiempo, comunicación motriz, roles y subfunciones, además de los modelos de técnica o ejecución, explicando sus particularidades. Esto podría ayudarnos a profundizar en las características del taekwondo, a definir la acción de combate y a contextualizar la situación real de la competición, adaptando las secuencias tácticas del taekwondo. El conocimiento de las particularidades de este deporte permite crear un marco necesario para continuar el trabajo de investigación en el taekwondo olímpico. O objetivo do manuscrito é abordar a lógica interna do taekwondo competição regulamentada pela Federação Mundial do Taekwondo para explicar a ação motora na competição. Uma revisão narrativa foi realizada com base nos parâmetros estruturais e funcionais do taekwondo nos bancos de dados do Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, Ebsco, PubMed, ProQuest e Dialnet, sem limitar o ano de publicação nem o idioma utilizado.     Occupational Therapy Perspective in the Management of Lymphedema

    Problem: Lymphedema is a collection of excess water, interstitial fluid, plasma proteins, bacteria, and cellular waste products in the interstitial tissues as a result of an impaired lymphatic system due to disease or trauma (Cheville, McGarvey, Petrek, Russo, Taylor, & Thiadens, 2003). This fluid typically collects in a person\u27s upper and/or lower extremities. Lymphedema is a chronic condition and can be progressive if not managed properly. Lymphedema may result in significant impairments to the person, which results in functional limitations and a decrease in quality of life (Konecne & Perdoma, 2004). Treatment of lymphedema can be costly, timely, and overwhelming for many patients. Patients\u27 occupations are often impacted and compliancy with recommended treatment techniques is a significant indicator of successful outcomes. Methodology: An extensive literature review is completed to investigate alternative treatment strategies for lymphedema management. The author of a textbook was contacted and gave his permission for material usage within this scholarly project (see Appendix A). The professional clinical experience of the author as a certified lymphedema therapist and occupational therapist provided additional perspective on the management of lymphedema. The Canadian Model of Occupational Performance (Fearing, Law & Clark, 1997) is the theoretical basis for this scholarly project. Findings and Product: A comprehensive lymphedema program is developed to provide an individualized approach for the prevention and management of lymphedema for patients seen by occupational therapists in medical and/or community settings. The product encompasses three phases of lymphedema management. Part I is for the client diagnosed with lymphedema and includes occupational-based evaluation, treatment and follow through with managing this complex condition with as minimal impact on the client\u27s daily roles and routines. Part II is a PowerPoint® presentation for the education and training of other health care professionals on lymphedema. Part III is a tertiary, preventive program to educate clients at risk for developing lymphedema. Overall, the comprehensive lymphedema program will attempt to minimize the impact of lymphedema on clients\u27 meaningful occupations for improved physical and psychosocial well-being
