Subleading Sudakov Logarithms in Electroweak Processes
Recent results for the asymptotic behavior of fermion scattering amplitudes
in the Sudakov limit are presented including next-to-leading logarithmic
corrections. These are used for the analysis of the dominant electroweak
corrections to the fermion-antifermion pair production in annihilation
at high energy.Comment: 6 pages, Latex, npb.sty is required (included). The complete paper is

The study is based on the analysis of the results of surgery on 34 patients with vertically unstable injuries of the pelvis at the age 16-61 operated on the period 2006-2010. Two following major methods of operative treatment were used: external fixation and combination of external and internal fixation. According to characteristics of posterior part of pelvis injuries patient were distributed as following: 19 patients with rupture of sacro-iliac joint, 15 patients with fracture of sacrum. In 18 patients injuries were associated with neuropathy of plexus sacralis. Follow-up long term results were estimated by Majeed scale. In the group of patients with vertically unstable injuries excellent results were achieved in 15 (45%) cases, good - in 10 (30%), satisfactory - in 9 (25%) patients.
Two-Loop Static QCD Potential for General Colour State
In this letter, we extend the known results for the QCD potential between a
static quark and its antiquark by computing the two-loop corrections to the
colour-octet state.Comment: 7 page
NIR Microscopy Possibilities for the Visualization of Silicon Microelectronic Structure Topology through the Substrate
AbstractExperimental setup based on visible and NIR spectral range microscope with laser port and picosecond laser is developed for silicon integrated circuit (IC) failure analysis. The possibility of visualizing the topology of the submicron technology silicon structures from the back side of the crystal through the substrate is shown. Main features of new setup are demonstrated by some results of backside focused pulsed laser beam initiated latchup effect study. The possibility of the localization of the latchup sensitive areas under focused laser irradiation is shown. NIR light emission accompanying the latchup effect is observed and analyzed. The practical aspects of NIR microscopy for failure analysis under backside laser irradiation are discussed
Particle-Field Duality and Form Factors from Vertex Operators
Using a duality between the space of particles and the space of fields, we
show how one can compute form factors directly in the space of fields. This
introduces the notion of vertex operators, and form factors are vacuum
expectation values of such vertex operators in the space of fields. The vertex
operators can be constructed explicitly in radial quantization. Furthermore,
these vertex operators can be exactly bosonized in momentum space. We develop
these ideas by studying the free-fermion point of the sine-Gordon theory, and
use this scheme to compute some form-factors of some non-free fields in the
sine-Gordon theory. This work further clarifies earlier work of one of the
authors, and extends it to include the periodic sector.Comment: 17 pages, 2 figures, CLNS 93/??
Quantization of Solitons and the Restricted Sine-Gordon Model
We show how to compute form factors, matrix elements of local fields, in the
restricted sine-Gordon model, at the reflectionless points, by quantizing
solitons. We introduce (quantum) separated variables in which the Hamiltonians
are expressed in terms of (quantum) tau-functions. We explicitly describe the
soliton wave functions, and we explain how the restriction is related to an
unusual hermitian structure. We also present a semi-classical analysis which
enlightens the fact that the restricted sine-Gordon model corresponds to an
analytical continuation of the sine-Gordon model, intermediate between
sine-Gordon and KdV.Comment: 29 pages, Latex, minor updatin
Two-Dimensional Critical Percolation: The Full Scaling Limit
We use SLE(6) paths to construct a process of continuum nonsimple loops in
the plane and prove that this process coincides with the full continuum scaling
limit of 2D critical site percolation on the triangular lattice -- that is, the
scaling limit of the set of all interfaces between different clusters. Some
properties of the loop process, including conformal invariance, are also
proved.Comment: 45 pages, 12 figures. This is a revised version of math.PR/0504036

Two-Loop Photonic Corrections to Massive Bhabha Scattering
We describe the details of the evaluation of the two-loop radiative photonic
corrections to Bhabha scattering. The role of the corrections in the
high-precision luminosity determination at present and future electron-positron
colliders is discussed.Comment: 20 pages, Latex; discussion, references added; to appear in

Splitting from Nonrelativistic Renormalization Group
We compute the hyperfine splitting in a heavy quarkonium composed of
different flavors in next-to-leading logarithmic approximation using the
nonrelativistic renormalization group. We predict the mass difference of the
vector and pseudoscalar charm-bottom mesons to be MeV.Comment: Eq.(22) and Appendix corrected, numerical results slightly changed.

Next-to-Next-to-Leading Logarithms in Four-Fermion Electroweak Processes at High Energy
We sum up the next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic virtual electroweak
corrections to the high energy asymptotics of the neutral current four-fermion
processes for light fermions to all orders in the coupling constants using the
evolution equation approach. From this all order result we derive finite order
expressions through next-to-next-to leading order for the total cross section
and various asymmetries. We observe an amazing cancellation between the sizable
leading, next-to-leading and next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic contributions
at TeV energies.Comment: latex, 20 pages; coupling constant in the fermionic contribution to
