    Forecasting wind speed data by using a combination of ARIMA model with single exponential smoothing

    Wind serves as natural resources as the solution to minimize global warming and has been commonly used to produce electricity. Because of their uncontrollable wind characteristics, wind speed forecasting is considered one of the best challenges in developing power generation. The Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Simple Exponential Smoothing (SES) and a hybrid model combination of ARIMA and SES will be used in this study to predict the wind speed. The mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and the root mean square error (RMSE) are used as measurement of efficiency.     This research aims to describe evaluation of implementiation The OperasiPangan Riau Makmur (OPRM) at Siak Regency from 2009 until 2013 especiallyon Bunga Raya Subdistrict hibiscus which is the granary in Siak. This programwas implemented by The government of Riau Province as mean to build foodsecurity as a legitimacy between the governor of Riau and the regent of SiakNumber: kptsn.580/VI/2012. The success of a program was evaluated be bassedon theory by William N. Dunn that is; effectiveness, efficiency, adikuacy, evendistribution, respon and accuracy program. The function of this program is asinforman substance about process of interaction as a crucial factor in the periodof implementation of the program so as to provide advice to the government,especially the implementation team to make this program success and to know theshortcomings and obstacles that occur.Methods used in this study is (kyu)alitative methods of data that can not berealized in the form of numbers, but in the form of an explanation that describesthe shape of the state, process, certain events. Data collection techni(kyu)uesusing interview techni(kyu)ues and documentation.From the research, The Operasi Pangan Riau Makmur (OPRM) at SiakRegency from 2009 until 2013 especially on Bunga Raya Subdistrict can becategorized not succeded. It seen from the failure to achieve self sufficiency inrice in Siak with many middlement out of town who come to buy particular fieldcrop farmers. Constrained case.     Lalat pengorok daun (Liriomyza sp.) merupakan hama utama pada pertanaman sayuran. Kerusakan yang ditimbulkannya mencapai 60% sampai 100%. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis parasitoid pada beberapa jenis tanaman sayuran. Pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2013 di Desa Sidera, dengan ketinggian tempat 176 meter dari permukaan laut dengan titik koordinat 10.00'21” LS dan 1190.56'.49” LU dan di Laboratorium Hama dan Penyakit, Fakultas Pertanian. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penanaman pada tanaman sayuran (kacang panjang, sawi, dan tomat) dan survei pada pertanaman ketimun milik petani yang berada disekitar lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, ada empat spesies parasitoid yang berasosiasi dengan Liriomyza sp. yang terdiri dari tiga famili yaitu Hemiptarsenus varicornis dan Chrysocharis pentheus (Eulopidae), Gronotoma micromorpha (Figitidae), dan Opius sp. (Braconidae). Tingkat parasitisasi parasitoid Liriomyza sp. berbeda-beda menurut jenis tanaman inang, yang terletak pada kisaran 12% sampai 38,4%

    Foodstuffs are a source of nutrition for humans and as well as a source of food for microorganisms. Microbes can contaminate food through water, dust, air, soil, processing tools (during production or preparation processes, as well as secretions from human and animal guts). Food can be toxic because it has been contaminated by pathogenic bacteria which can then grow and multiply during storage, so the bacteria are able to produce toxins that are harmful to humans. The aimed of this study was to detect the presence of Escherichia coli pathogen in food. This type of research is experimental laboratory using conventional method and multiplex PCR method. 8 positive samples of Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 by conventional method, consisting of 5 samples of tofu; 2 samples of ice syrup and 1 sample iced tea.     In carrying out the task of government affairs at Diskominfosanditik Sumedang Regency, an E-Government system is implemented, namely the ASN E-Office application which is a website-based and mobile-based application with a minimum specification of Android 4 which is used by all ASN (State Civil Apparatus) consisting of PNS (Civil Servants) and PPPK (Government Employees with Work Agreements) in Sumedang Regency. With this application, there may be threats and attacks including vulnerabilities that pose a risk, which disrupt the process of using the application. Therefore, the researcher decided to conduct information technology risk management research as a handling and protection of the application by applying the risk management process from ISO 31000:2018 where any information needed in this research was obtained from internal sources at Diskominfosanditik Sumedang Regency. This research was conducted in the informatics section and resulted in 14 possible risks consisting of 3 risks with high levels, 2 risks with medium levels, and 9 risks with low levels.     Ketahanan Bakteri Asam Laktat Asal Dangke terhadap Garam Empedu sebagai Kandidat Probiotik

    Bakteri asam laktat (BAL) merupakan kelompok bakteri yang menghasilkan asam laktat sebagaiproduk utama dalam metabolisme karbohidrat. BAL sebagai kandidat probiotik harus memenuhi salah satu syarat yang memiliki ketahanan garam empedu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketahanan bakteri asam laktat berasal dari dangke susu sapi terhadap garam empedu dengan berbagai konsentrasi yaitu 0,1% , 0,3%, dan 0,5% dan tanpa garam empedu sebagai kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakteri asam laktat isolat susu sapi asli dangke L. fermentum dan L. acidophillus memiliki ketahanan garam empedu. Lactobacillus acidophilus isolat memiliki ketahanan garam empedu lebih baik dari Lactobacillus fermentum. Perbedaan antara jumlah BAL koloni pada media + oxgall terhadap kontrol (A0 dan B0) untuk masing-masing konsentrasi Oxgall 0,1%, 0,3%, dan 0,5% masing-masing dari L. fermentum: 1,4 x 106, 1,7 x 106, 4 x 106, sedangkan L. acidophillus: 0,7 x 106, 0,9 x 106 dan 1,4 x 106. Ketahanan L. acidophillus pada berbagai konsentrasi garam empedu menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan nilai P = 0,445 sama seperti ketahanan L. fermentum pada variasi empedu konsentrasi garam juga menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan nilai P = 0,133. L. fermentum dan L. acidophillus memiliki kemampuan untuk bertahan terhadap garam empedu yang menunjukkan potensi sebagai probiotik kandidat

    Students' self-directed learning readiness towards using the “SolveMe” Web in Technical and Vocational Education

    Self-directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) is an essential skill in continuous Tearning and Leaching (T&L) that needs to be applied to any student. The study aimed to look at the Self-directed Learning Readiness Level (SDLRL) among the final semester students. The total number of students involved was 136 students, covering seven areas namely Catering, Electrical and Electronics, Building Construction, Creative Multimedia, General Machining, Welding, and Air Conditioning. The questionnaire instrument used was adapted from Guglielmino(1997). The results of the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics involving average use, standard deviation, percentages, frequency and scores. Inference statistics involve t-tests. Studies showed that the students' Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) were at moderate levels for three aspects of self-management, learning to learn and self-control. The t = .119 test, p <.905 showed no significant difference in SDLRL based on gender (female, average = 3.4002, SP = .37393 and male, average = 3.3925, SP = .37146) which served as a reference that could benefit the academic institution for adapting the T&L technique involving SDLR
