The article describes the parameters necessary for the decision-making information system of the state organization in the provision of services through business processes. Any information system that allows data to be prepared for decision-making is based on quantitative information. However, the decision itself is chosen most often on the basis of experience, knowledge, which is subjective and not always correct. We propose to allocate a class of events for which it is possible to develop decision templates. The choice of the solution is based on the analysis of the parameters of the business processes of the state organization in the provision of service

A comparative study of Higgs boson production from vector-boson fusion

The data taken in Run II at the Large Hadron Collider have started to probe Higgs boson production at high transverse momentum. Future data will provide a large sample of events with boosted Higgs boson topologies, allowing for a detailed understanding of electroweak Higgs boson plus two-jet production, and in particular the vector-boson fusion mode (VBF). We perform a detailed comparison of precision calculations for Higgs boson production in this channel, with particular emphasis on large Higgs boson transverse momenta, and on the jet radius dependence of the cross section. We study fixed-order predictions at next-to-leading order and next-to-next-to-leading order QCD, and compare the results to NLO plus parton shower (NLOPS) matched calculations. The impact of the NNLO corrections on the central predictions is mild, with inclusive scale uncertainties of the order of a few percent, which can increase with the imposition of kinematic cuts. We find good agreement between the fixed-order and matched calculations in non-Sudakov regions, and the various NLOPS predictions also agree well in the Sudakov regime. We analyze backgrounds to VBF Higgs boson production stemming from associated production, and from gluon-gluon fusion. At high Higgs boson transverse momenta, the ∆yjj and/or mjj cuts typically used to enhance the VBF signal over background lead to a reduced efficiency. We examine this effect as a function of the jet radius and using different definitions of the tagging jets. QCD radiative corrections increase for all Higgs production modes with increasing Higgs boson pT, but the proportionately larger increase in the gluon fusion channel results in a decrease of the gluon-gluon fusion background to electroweak Higgs plus two jet production upon requiring exclusive two-jet topologies. We study this effect in detail and contrast in particular a central jet veto with a global jet multiplicity requirement

Lattice Dynamics and Specific Heat of α\alpha - GeTe: a theoretical and experimental study

We extend recent \textit{ab initio} calculations of the electronic band structure and the phonon dispersion relations of rhombohedral GeTe to calculations of the density of phonon states and the temperature dependent specific heat. The results are compared with measurements of the specific heat. It is discovered that the specific heat depends on hole concentration, not only in the very low temperature region (Sommerfeld term) but also at the maximum of Cp/T3C_p/T^3 (around 16 K). To explain this phenomenon, we have performed \textit{ab initio} lattice dynamical calculations for GeTe rendered metallic through the presence of a heavy hole concentration (pp \sim 2×\times 1021^{21} cm3^{-3}). They account for the increase observed in the maximum of Cp/T3C_p/T^3.Comment: 8 pages, 7 figures, ref. 19 correcte

The relative and absolute timing accuracy of the EPIC-pn camera on XMM-Newton, from X-ray pulsations of the Crab and other pulsars

Reliable timing calibration is essential for the accurate comparison of XMM-Newton light curves with those from other observatories, to ultimately use them to derive precise physical quantities. The XMM-Newton timing calibration is based on pulsar analysis. However, as pulsars show both timing noise and glitches, it is essential to monitor these calibration sources regularly. To this end, the XMM-Newton observatory performs observations twice a year of the Crab pulsar to monitor the absolute timing accuracy of the EPIC-pn camera in the fast Timing and Burst modes. We present the results of this monitoring campaign, comparing XMM-Newton data from the Crab pulsar (PSR B0531+21) with radio measurements. In addition, we use five pulsars (PSR J0537-69, PSR B0540-69, PSR B0833-45, PSR B1509-58 and PSR B1055-52) with periods ranging from 16 ms to 197 ms to verify the relative timing accuracy. We analysed 38 XMM-Newton observations (0.2-12.0 keV) of the Crab taken over the first ten years of the mission and 13 observations from the five complementary pulsars. All the data were processed with the SAS, the XMM-Newton Scientific Analysis Software, version 9.0. Epoch folding techniques coupled with \chi^{2} tests were used to derive relative timing accuracies. The absolute timing accuracy was determined using the Crab data and comparing the time shift between the main X-ray and radio peaks in the phase folded light curves. The relative timing accuracy of XMM-Newton is found to be better than 10^{-8}. The strongest X-ray pulse peak precedes the corresponding radio peak by 306\pm9 \mus, which is in agreement with other high energy observatories such as Chandra, INTEGRAL and RXTE. The derived absolute timing accuracy from our analysis is \pm48 \mus.Comment: 16 pages, 9 figures. Accepted for publication on A&

Aims: We investigate the X-ray spectral and timing properties of the high mass X-ray binary EXO 2030+375 observed during its June-September 2006 giant (type II) outburst. Methods: The data analyzed in this work are from partly simultaneous observations with INTEGRAL Swift. The pulse period P and its temporal derivative P_dot are measured. X-ray pulse profiles in different energy ranges and time intervals are constructed. Pulse averaged X-ray spectra for different time intervals are studied. Results: We report a strong spin-up of the source during the outburst, comparable to that observed in 1985 during the previous giant outburst when the source was discovered. The value of P_dot is found to be linearly related to the X-ray luminosity of the source during the outburst. For the first time the hard X-ray (>25 keV) characteristics of the source during a type II outburst are studied. The X-ray pulse profiles apparently change with luminosity. The X-ray spectral continuum in the 3--120 keV energy range is modeled with an absorbed power law with an exponential cutoff around E ~26 keV. An iron emission line at ~6-7 keV is observed. The spectrum reveals some features between 10 and 20 keV which can be modeled either by a broad emission line at ~13-15 keV (a ``bump'') or by two absorption lines at ~10 and ~20 keV.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figures, accepted for publication in A&A Letter
