Thinning CsPb2Br5 Perovskite Down to Monolayers: Cs-dependent Stability

Using first-principles density functional theory calculations, we systematically investigate the structural, electronic and vibrational properties of bulk and potential single-layer structures of perovskite-like CsPb2Br5 crystal. It is found that while Cs atoms have no effect on the electronic structure, their presence is essential for the formation of stable CsPb2Br5 crystals. Calculated vibrational spectra of the crystal reveal that not only the bulk form but also the single-layer forms of CsPb2Br5 are dynamically stable. Predicted single-layer forms can exhibit either semiconducting or metallic character. Moreover, modification of the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of single-layer CsPb2Br5 upon formation of vacancy defects is investigated. It is found that the formation of Br vacancy (i) has the lowest formation energy, (ii) significantly changes the electronic structure, and (iii) leads to ferromagnetic ground state in the single-layer CsPb2Br5 . However, the formation of Pb and Cs vacancies leads to p-type doping of the single-layer structure. Results reported herein reveal that single-layer CsPb2Br5 crystal is a novel stable perovskite with enhanced functionality and a promising candidate for nanodevice applications.Comment: 18 pages, 5 figure

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dankeadilan prosedural terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior From Islamic Perspective(OCBIP) pada karyawan di Universitas Muhammdiyah Yogyakarta. THE INFLUENCE OF MIND MAPPING TECHNIQUE IN TEACHING WRITING SKILL

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan perbedaan signifikan pada prestasi menulis siswa setelah diajarkan dengan menggunakan teknik mind mapping dan apakah mind mapping dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan aspek menulis pada istilah organisasi, kosa kata, dan tata bahasa. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif berdasarkan desain eksperimental. Sampel dipilih secara acak dengan menggunakan lotere yaitu kelas XI IPA1. Data diperoleh dengan mengadakan pretest, posttest dan treatment. Peneliti menggunakan Repeated Measure t-test dalam menganalisa data yang dikumpulkan. Level signifikan adalah 0,05 dan hipotesa dibuktikan jika tanda p. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari hasil t-test yang menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed)  adalah ,000. Ini dapat diperkirakan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak karena 0,000 0,05. Jadi kita dapat menyimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan signifikan dari prestasi siswa setelah mereka diajarkan dengan menggunakan teknik mind mapping.The aims of this study are to find out significant difference in students’ writing achievement after being taught by using mind mapping technique and whether or not mind mapping can be used to increase students’ writing aspect in terms of organization, vocabulary, and grammar. This research was quantitative based on the experimental design. The sample was chosen randomly by using lottery that was XI IPA1. The data were gained by administering pretest. posttest and treatments. The researcher used Repeated Measure t-test in analyzing the data collected. Evaluating the Effectiveness of Training Program Developed for Teachers Working with Dyslexic Students on their Competencies

In Turkey, the number of studies determining the competence level of classroom teachers working with dyslexic students is limited. It is thought that a dyslexia training program, which will be developed based on teacher needs, will meet the training needs of teachers. In this study expletory sequential mixed method was adopted and, qualitative research method was used in the first stage and quantitative research method in the second stage. In the first stage, the teacher training program was developed in the light of the data obtained by semi-structured interview technique. Pre-test post-test control group experimental design was preferred in the process of evaluating the effectiveness of the program. The study group consists of 46 teachers working in primary schools of Karaman province. The independent samples t-test analysis between the two groups and the dependent group t-test analysis between the pre-test post-test scores revealed a significant difference between the means of the groups. As a result, teachers who consider themselves competent and receive the necessary training will both support their students with dyslexia more comprehensively and display a more positive attitude

The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the significance of the effect of self-confidence on employee performance either directly or through work motivation as an intervening variable; (2) the significance of the effect of morale on employee performance either directly or through work motivation as an intervening variable; The research sample was 89 employees. The sample was determined using the Sampling Table with an error rate of 5%. Data were collected with the main instrument, namely a questionnaire. Data analysis technique using Path Analysis. The results showed that (1) Self-confidence had a significant effect on employee performance but not significant through work motivation as an intervening variable; (2) Work morale has a significant effect on employee performance but is not significant through work motivation as an intervening variable

An Assessment of the Spatial Comfort at the Open Piazza of Baiturrahman Mosque, Banda Aceh, Indonesia

 The Baiturrahman Grand Mosque is well-known as the identity of Banda Aceh town, Indonesia. The extensive renovation was carried out in 2015 to the Mosque, presenting an open piazza coated with glossy white marble replacing the previous greeneries and grass. This change creates a much different thermal sensation of the prior environment. This condition also invites the contrast to respond and define spatial comfort, including thermal and visual comfort. Therefore, this study conducts an assessment of thermal and visual comfort at the open piazza, which was done through field measurements. The outdoor thermal comfort was calculated using the equations proposed by Sangkertadi that are appropriate for the tropics. The visual comfort was examined using the De Boer glare scale. The result shows the discomfort appearance for both thermal and visual comfort. The study gives recommendations, such as planting greeneries, providing more shades for achieving lower outdoor air temperature. Replacing the glossy marble with the diffusing and rough surface will reduce the glare for getting the more acceptable visual comfort against the marbles
