Role of Tetraspanins in SARS-CoV-2 Fusion and Entry
Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is responsible for the pandemic the world has been facing in recent years. Even as new countermeasures are developed, there is still much we don’t know in terms of its entry into host cells. Tetraspanins are transmembrane proteins that are near ubiquitous amongst cell types. They fulfill numerous roles, including that of a viral co-receptor. Here, we considered whether tetraspanins, specifically CD9, CD63, and CD81 influence SARS-CoV-2 fusion and entry. Using ACE2-LgBit and tetraspanin overexpressing EVs and HeLa cells, we find that the presence of excess tetraspanins inhibit fusion and entry. However, we later find that co-overexpressing cells express significantly diminished levels of ACE2-LgBit. Furthermore, when this is difference is accounted for in our transfection assay, we see an increase in transfection, suggesting that tetraspanins could promote receptor efficient entry
The presence of southern fishes in the Argentinian continental shelf and adjacent areas
A list of Southern Ocean fishes captured in the Argentinian continental shelf and adjacent areas is presented. The list comprises a total of 41 species. They represent 15% of the ichthyofauna registered in the Southern Ocean. The geographic position of the samples was considered in order to show the northward displacement of some Antarctic species toward southwestern Atlantic waters.
significancia de 0,05.The present investigation is of quantitative approach, of a non-experimental type with
correlational descriptive design, where the following objective is studied to determine how the
investigation strategies are related to the development of digital competencies in the
Administration students of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, In a sample
conformed by The sample was constituted by 155 students of the Faculty of administration, the
sample is of probabilistic type, stratified. The results were obtained two by applying two
questionnaires, which went through a process of validity and reliability. The hypothesis test was
performed using Pearson's r statistic because the data has a normal distribution. The result of the
sample hypothesis test that there is a direct, moderate and significant correlation, given that the
value r found is 0.067, with a level of significance equal to 0.000, a result that is less than 0.05, is
taken the decision to reject the null hypothesis and accept the working hypothesis. That is, inquiry
strategies are related to digital skills at a significance level of 0,05
The world’s native minority languages have been directly or indirectly affected after the colonisation processes that each country has had through history. There are 65 endangered indigenous languages in Colombia due to such processes and national institutional negligence. The Universidad Nacional de Colombia, being the most important educational institution of the country, is to take up actions that guarantee the conservation and preservation of our languages. The following article presents three proposals that should help attain the aforementioned objectives

The things that fall on the ground are signs of the constant use and throw away,
characteristics of a consumer society. To analyse these objects and deduce from them
what they are made of, allow us to identify the plants they are composed of: tobacco
packages, beer cans, packets of sugar, coins of minimum value, plastic caps for all kinds of
liquids and containers for drinks with artificial flavours. Tobacco, sugar cane, barley and
rubber are some of the plant species that where introduced from America to Europe. Since
colonial administration processes and the renaming of nature, to a current international
market, where these species circulate as merchandise.
The reciprocal relations with the contemporary nature are the symbiosis between the
natural and the artificial. It is the diversity of parts that compose a contemporary
landscape, showing a path of natural and political history of a timeless nature to a cultural
chronology.
From these reflections, I present the following theoretical research practice which result
in a series of assemblages, objects and drawings made with those parts of the everyday
landscape where the collection, the archiving and reopening of the archives of the objects
is used as a material to return to the appearance of industrialized plant.
