    Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta semester khusus 2014 yang berlokasi di smp Muhammadiyah 2 Depok telah dilaksanakan sejak pada tanggal 03 Juli 2014 sampai 17 september 2014. Kelompok PPL di lokasi ini terdiri dari 8 mahasiswa dari program pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, dan Pendidikan Jasmani Keolahragaan dan Rekreasi. Selama kegiatan PPL, praktikan melakukan praktik mengajar mandiri dan terbimbing di lima kelas, yaitu kelas VII A, VII B, VII A, VIII B, dan VII C. Dari keseluruhan praktik mengajar praktikan melakukan praktik mengajar sebanyak minimal 8 kali tatap muka berdasarkan RPP. Secara umum, pelaksaan kegiatan mengajar telah berjalan dengan lancar. Praktikan telah berusaha sebaik mungkin baik secara fisik dan mental agar dapat mengahadapi hambatan-hambatan serta kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi dilapangan. Selama PPL berlangsung, mahasiswa praktikan telah mendapatkan banyak pelajaran dan pengalaman yang berharga yang akan digunakan ketika menjadi guru nanti. Praktikan juga telah memberikan banyak manfaat yang banyak dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh seluruh warga sekolah salah satunya guru

    Newcastle Disease Virus is an RNA virus causing a disease in avian. ND caused by Avian Paramyxovirus serotype I. ND is an endemic disease in Indonesia and one of the most infectious poultry diseases with high morbidity and mortality rates. Vaccination program are not perfectly succeed because of the differences seed vaccine and strains circulating in the environment. Therefore, information of local strains data recording are needed for providing better vaccination. Three out of thirty-six samples isolated from domestic avian in Surabaya are positive infected by ND. Nucleotide sequence of partial F protein from domestic pigeon (Columba livia domestica) isolate was analyzed by comparing with selected isolates in Genbank. HA and HI titre of the domestic pigeon shows 26. The partial F genes producing 699bp of sample was amplified using One Step RT-PCR then visualized using agarose gel electrophoresis. PCR products were purified then the sequence was run using ClustalW Alignment in BioEdit ver.7. The homology scores were analyzed using Needle-Wunsch Global Align Nucleotide Sequences via NCBI and showed 97% of sample compared to LaSota and Hitchner-B1 strain. Sample was categorized as lentogenic strain from its cleavage site. The phylogenetic tree showed it has genetically close with LaSota vaccine strain

    Program linier adalah suatu cara untuk menyelesaikan persoalan pengalokasian sumber-sumber terbatas secara optimal. Metode simpleks merupakan algoritma yang efisien untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan program linier. Algoritma interior point merupakan alat baru yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah program linier yang kompleks, yaitu yang memiliki fungsi kendala dan variabel keputusan yang jumlahnya besar. Nilai interior point diberikan secara acak, dengan nilai yang harus memenuhi batasan (constraint) yang ada pada permasalahan. Apabila nilai interior point tidak memenuhi batasan, maka tidak dapat dihasilkan nilai solusi yang optimal. Berdasarkan contoh 4.1 dan contoh 4.2, penyelesaian program linier menggunakan metode simpleks lebih efisien dibandingkan algoritma interior point. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari banyaknya iterasi yang dilakukan, karena interior point, iterasi dan nilai diambil secara acak. Katakunci: algoritma interior point, iterasi, metode simpleks

    Optimization of Drinking Water Distribution Costs Using Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM) and Three Modified Methods of VAM (Case Study: Sikumbang Kampar Spring)

    Distribution system Springs Sikumbang Kampar is from the primary seller, and the distributor distributes it to the public. The Sikumbang Kampar Springs distributor is experiencing the problem of increasing the cost of distribution because it does not have a distribution pattern. Therefore, it takes a transportation model to complain distribution problems experienced by the distributor of Springs Sikumbang Kampar. The research was conducted to obtain the minimum cost in distributing the drinking water to help distributors solve these problems. For this reason, a method is needed in compiling a mathematical model appropriate to the distribution problem. The methods used in the study are Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM), Improved Vogel's Approximation Method (IVAM), Max-Min Vogel's Approximation Method (MM-VAM), and Modified Vogel's Approximation Method (MVAM). Based on the results of the study, Vogel's Approximation Method generates total cost different initial solutions. Vogel's Approximation Method is more efficient, as it has few iterations to obtain the optimal solution using the stepping stone method. Distributors can consider the use of Vogel's Approximation Method in optimizing the distribution costs of drinking water from Sikumbang Kampar Springs. Total distribution transportation costs Sikumbang Kampar Springs per week uses transportation model is Rp 4,580,485.00. This result is more optimal for transportation costs distributor, that is Rp 5.050.000.000,00, so there is a reduction in transportation for Rp 469,515.00

    CV. Bintang Anugerah Sukses is a company engaged in the distribution of product PT. Belfoods Indonesia. Distribution of frozen goods distributes to 12 customer agencies using one vehicle. The route distribution is determined based on the experience and subjective decisions of a salesman in charge of distributing goods. The problem will be solved using the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) approach, so the best route for distributing goods can be obtained that can minimum mileage and time. One of the methods applied to the traveling salesman problem is the Tabu Search algorithm. Tabu Search is one of the metaheuristic methods with the process of searching moving from one solution to the next. The algorithm uses a taboo list to store a set of solutions that have just been evaluated, the result will be adjusted first to the contents of the taboo list to see whether the solution already exists or not. If the solution already exists then the solution will not be evaluated. The calculation results obtained a minimum mileage of 53.6 km and a minimum of time 305 minutes or 5 hours 5 minutes

    The Sentosa  Santul Women Farmers Group (KWT) is a group of women farmers in Dusun Santul, Kampar Utara District an is engaged in the field of food crops is chili. The Sentosa Santul Women Farmers group (KWT) uses 4 types of fertilizers for chili plant fertilization, namely hydro complex fertilizer, phonska, NPK Zamrud and goat manure.The KWT wants the minimum fertilizer cost but the nutrients in the plants are met. The method used in this research is the dual simplex method and the quick simplex method. The purpose of this study is to determine the minimum costs that must be incurred by the Womens Farmer Group (KWT) for fertilization using the dual simplex method and the quick simplex method to obtain an optimum and feasible solution. For the dual simplex method, the optimum and feasible solution were obtained using the Gauss Jordanelimination. While the quick simplex method, the solution is illustrated using a matrix to reduce the number of iterations needed to achieve the optimal solution. Based on the research result, it is found that the quick simplex method is more efficient than the dual simplex method. This can be seen from the number of iterations carried out. Dual simplex method iteration there are two iterations and quick simplex one iteration. The dual simplex method and the quick simplex method produce the same value
