2030: la Era Token

This article studies the phenomenon of blockchain technology, analysing a new legal framework that is unknown and, to date, in full regulatory development. In order to understand the disruptive nature of this new trend in the current and foreseeable future market, it details the process known as “tokenisation of assets”, its evolution, and the advantages and difficulties presented by these cryptoassets. To such an extent has blockchain technology shaken the regulatory market framework known until now, with the creation of the Metaverse, that virtual reality is being marketed by major companies worldwide as a showcase for their new products. Although there is some regulation of crypto-assets, this is a booming phenomenon whose current regulation is no more than an analogical application of current legislation when it comes to understanding this new international economic model. In the same sense, this paper analyses the so-called “fan tokens”, from their basic concept to their evolution as a new way of attracting investment. The last challenge of cryptoassets is addressed with the possibility of the tokenisation of real estate, i.e. the digitisation of real estate in the physical world to its digitisation in the virtual world, a possibility that, as of today, is not without its light and shadows for a fully effective application.En este artículo se estudia el fenómeno de la tecnología blockchain, adentrándonos en el análisis de un nuevo marco jurídico desconocido y hasta la fecha en pleno desarrollo normativo. Con el propósito de entender el carácter disruptivo de esta nueva tendencia en el mercado actual, y previsiblemente futuro, se detalla el proceso denominado tokenizacion de activos, su evolución, razón de ser, y las ventajas y dificultades que presentan estos criptoactivos. Hasta tal punto la tecnología blockchain ha hecho tambalear el marco regulatorio de mercado conocido hasta ahora, con la creación del Metaverso, que la realidad virtual está siendo comercializada por las principales empresas a nivel mundial como escaparate para sus nuevos productos. Si bien existe cierta regulación respecto a los criptoactivos, se trata de un fenómeno en pleno auge y cuya regulación actual no deja de ser una aplicación analógica de la legislación vigente a la hora de entender este nuevo modelo económico internacional. En el mismo sentido, en el presente trabajo se analizan los denominados fan tokens, desde su concepto básico hasta su evolución como una nueva forma de captar inversión. El último reto de los criptoactivos se aborda con la posibilidad de la tokenización de bienes inmuebles, es decir, la digitalización de bienes inmuebles en el mundo físico a su digitalización en el mundo virtual, posibilidad que a día de hoy, no deja de tener luces y sombras para una aplicación plenamente efectiva

Model based on TPM and Standardization for the maximization of efficiency in an SME in the plastics sector

The plastics industry is important in the world due to its recurrent use in daily life and the supply it provides to other sectors such as medicine, transportation, health. Previous studies show that the average difference in global efficiency between the manufacturing industry and the World Class ranges between 15 to 25 percentage points, also affecting the plastics sector. The case study presents a gap of 17% regarding this metric in the thermoforming line. This efficiency gap has had an impact on cancelled orders, which generate 18.8% of annual sales losses. During the analysis it was determined that availability losses are generated by constant machinery breakdowns and quality losses are caused by the high rate of nonconforming products. Thus, in view of the scarcity of efforts in the sector, an efficiency maximization model is proposed that combines the management of time and machinery with the quality associated with the process. To this end, the integration of tools such as 5S, autonomous and planned maintenance to reduce unscheduled stops and standardization under a continuous improvement framework to reduce the sources of quality loss is proposed. In this way, an improvement of 12.15% in the efficiency of the line is achieved, increasing by 3.36% and 10.96% in the Availability and Quality indicators respectively for the M4 thermoforming machine

Estrategias de Marketing Mix y posicionamiento en la empresa SCABZE E.I.R.L. San Martin de Porres, 2022

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo, Determinar la relación entre las estrategias de Marketing mix y el posicionamiento en la empresa SCABZE E.I.R.L. SMP, 2022, el tipo de investigación es aplicada, de diseño, no experimental, transversal, correlacional, con una muestra de 74 clientes, se utilizó como instrumento de investigación la encuesta y se aplicó el cuestionario, el resultado obtenido, Se evidencia que existe relación entre las variables Marketing Mix y el posicionamiento con un Rho Spearman de 0,657 por lo cual se indica que es significativa, con un p. valor de 0, 000 estableciendo la hipótesis de la investigación, evidenciando que Existe relación entre las estrategias de Marketing mix y el posicionamiento en la empresa SCABZE E.I.R.L. SMP, 2022. Concluyendo que, se determinó que existe relación entre las variables Marketing Mix y el posicionamiento con un Rho Spearman de 0,657, con un p. valor de 0, 000 por lo cual se establece que al incrementar las estrategias de marketing mix en las dimensiones de producto, precio, plaza y promoción, el posicionamiento se verá incrementado en la empresa SCABZE E.I.R.L. SMP

Bienestar psicológico y estilos de afrontamiento al estrés en pobladores aledaños al Museo Chotuna-Chornancap de Lambayeque.

La presente investigación busca contribuir al estudio científico de la salud mental en poblaciones rurales. Por consiguiente, el objetivo general del estudio fue establecer la relación entre bienestar psicológico y estilos de afrontamiento en pobladores aledaños al Museo Chotuna-Chornancap de Lambayeque, 2022. De ahí que, la metodología del estudio fue cuantitativo de alcance correlacional. Se trabajó con una muestra total de 60 pobladores adultos a los cuales se les aplicó la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico de Carol Ryff y el Inventario de Modos de Afrontamiento al estrés COPE de Carver, Scheier y Weintraub. Como resultado general, sólo en el grupo de jóvenes se encontró correlación directa y significativa (p<0.05) en grado medio (Rho = ,618) entre el bienestar psicológico y los estilos enfocados en la emoción. Asimismo, el 83,3% fueron mujeres, el 68.3% adultos, el 73,3% casados, el 76,7% ama de casa y el 53,3% tenía grado de instrucción primaria. El nivel de bienestar psicológico predominante fue el normal al igual que el estilo de afrontamiento enfocado en la emoción. Asimismo, se encontró relación significativa (p<0.05; Rh=-0.295) e inversa, con un grado de relación débil entre la dimensión propósito de vida y los estilos evitativos. Únicamente se encontraron diferencias significativas en los estilos enfocados en el problema según edad, a favor de los adultos (p < 0.05). Se concluye que en la muestra general las variables tienen un comportamiento independiente y, en los jóvenes, la reducción de la angustia favorece directamente a su bienestar psicológico

Impacto de las costumbres alimentarias en Nuevo León, México: estudio parcial

En los últimos años, ha aumentado la prevalencia de enfermedades crónico-degenerativas en el mundo, incluyendo México, debido a sus costumbres alimenticias. Nuevo León ha experimentado un incremento alarmante en la región, afectando a un porcentaje significativo de la población adulta. Según la ENSANUT 2022, la prevalencia de obesidad y diabetes en adultos fue del 160.0%. Además, el 46% de los adultos en México tienen niveles altos de colesterol LDL en sangre, siendo una de las principales causas de enfermedades cardiovasculares. Asimismo, 3 de cada 10 niños y niñas entre 5 y 11 años y 7 de cada 10 adultos padecen sobrepeso u obesidad. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las costumbres alimentarias de Nuevo León, con el fin de comprender las posibles causas de enfermedades crónicas. Para ello, se realizó una encuesta a 78 voluntarios para analizar factores de predisposición. Los resultados mostraron que las personas de 40 a 49 años son las que padecen más obesidad, diabetes y enfermedades gastrointestinales. De acuerdo con lo anterior, las costumbres alimentarias de una población influyen significativamente en el riesgo de padecer enfermedades crónicas, lo que destaca la importancia de promover una alimentación saludable para reducir el impacto de estas enfermedades en la salud

ERCP and splenic injury

Abstractendoscopic Retrograde Colangiopancreatography (eRCP) is an invasive procedure with important complications that occurs in 5%-10% of the cases. The most frequent procedure related complications are: acute pancreatitis, hemorrhage, perforation and infection. an infrequent but potentially life threatening eRCP complication is the splenic injury, with very few cases reported in the literature. We report a patient with cholecholithiasis and biliary pancreatitis who was diagnosed with a subcapsular splenic laceration a few hours after an eRCP. Clinicians should be alerted to this potential post-procedure complication associated with eRCP

Streptococcus Pneumoniae Serotype 19A in Hospitalized Children With invasive Pneumococcal Disease after the introduction of Conjugated Vaccines in Lima, Peru

BACKGROUND: The Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) has decreased cases of invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) worldwide. However, the impact of PCVs introduction may be affected by the serotype distribution in a specific context. METHODS: Cross-sectional multicenter passive surveillance study of IPD cases in pediatric patients hospitalized in Lima, Peru between 2016 and 2019 (after PCV13 introduction) to determine the serotype distribution and antimicrobial resistance of Streptococcus pneumoniae. Serotyping was performed by a sequential multiplex PCR and confirmed by whole genome sequencing. RESULTS: Eighty-five S. pneumoniae isolates were recovered (4.07/100,000 among childrenage). Serotype 19A was the most common (49.4%). Children infected with serotype 19A in comparison with children infected with other serotypes were younger, had a lower rate of meningitis and higher rates of pneumonia, complicated pneumonia and antimicrobial resistance; 28.6% of patients with serotype 19A have received at least one dose of PCV13 vs. 62.8% of patients with other serotypes. Using MIC-breakpoints, 81.2% (56/69) of non-meningitis strains and 31.2% (5/16) of meningitis strains were susceptible to penicillin; 18.8% (3/16) of meningitis strains had intermediate resistance to ceftriaxone. Resistance to azithromycin was 78.8% (67/85). Serotype 19A frequency increased over time in the same study population, from 4.2% (4/96) in 2006-2008, to 8.6% (5/58) in 2009-2011, to 49.4% (42/85) in the current study (2016-2019) (p \u3c 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: After PCV13 introduction in Peru, serotype 19A remains the most prevalent; however, the vaccination coverage is still not optimal. Therefore, additonal surveillance studies are needed to determine the remaining IPD burden

Precursor reaction kinetics control compositional grading and size of CdSe1-xSx nanocrystal heterostructures

We report a method to control the composition and microstructure of CdSe1-xSx nanocrystals by the simultaneous injection of sulfide and selenide precursors into a solution of cadmium oleate and oleic acid at 240 degrees C. Pairs of substituted thio- and selenoureas were selected from a library of compounds with conversion reaction reactivity exponents (k(E)) spanning 1.3 x 10(-5) s(-1) to 2.0 x 10(-1) s(-1). Depending on the relative reactivity (k(Se)/k(S)), core/shell and alloyed architectures were obtained. Growth of a thick outer CdS shell using a syringe pump method provides gram quantities of brightly photoluminescent quantum dots (PLQY = 67 to 90%) in a single reaction vessel. Kinetics simulations predict that relative precursor reactivity ratios of less than 10 result in alloyed compositions, while larger reactivity differences lead to abrupt interfaces. CdSe1-xSx alloys (k(Se)/k(S) = 2.4) display two longitudinal optical phonon modes with composition dependent frequencies characteristic of the alloy microstructure. When one precursor is more reactive than the other, its conversion reactivity and mole fraction control the number of nuclei, the final nanocrystal size at full conversion, and the elemental composition. The utility of controlled reactivity for adjusting alloy microstructure is discussed

ANGPTL-4 is associated with obesity and lipid profile in children and adolescents

Angiopoietin-like protein 4 (ANGPTL-4) regulates lipidic metabolism and a_ects energy homeostasis. However, its function in children with obesity remains unknown. We investigated plasma ANGPTL-4 levels in children and its relationship with body mass index (BMI) and di_erent lipidic parameters such as free fatty acids (FFA). Plasma ANGPTL-4 levels were analyzed in two di_erent cohorts. In the first cohort (n = 150, age 3-17 years), which included children with normal weight or obesity, we performed a cross-sectional study. In the second cohort, which included only children with obesity (n = 20, age 5-18 years) followed up for two years after an intervention for weight loss, in which we performed a longitudinal study measuring ANGPTL-4 before and after BMI-loss. In the cross-sectional study, circulating ANGPTL-4 levels were lower in children with obesity than in those with normal weight. Moreover, ANGPTL-4 presented a negative correlation with BMI, waist circumference, weight, insulin, homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index (HOMA index), triglycerides, and leptin, and a positive correlation with FFA and vitamin-D. In the longitudinal study, the percent change in plasma ANGPTL-4 was correlated with the percent change in FFA, total-cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
