Interactive strategies to improve the english teaching learning process for the students of 1st year of secondary education at “CATORCE DE JULIO” high school during the academic year 2012 - 2013.

Many of the teachers who are immersed in the English language teaching do not have extensive knowledge about what the interactive strategies are. These activities should be implemented in classes; with this application students can adequately develop the four skills which are important into the English Teaching Learning Process. The monotony in the classroom, lack of teaching materials, the lack of teachers’ commitment, etc, have been very fundamental problems that have affected the proper development of students’ skills in the English language learning. The activities carried out in the classroom are important to improve the students’ communicative skill, but many teachers of the English area just limited to use a textbook and not using all the technological tools for students learning. Technology has advanced in a very fast way which has brought solutions to many difficulties, so it is vital to prioritize the vocation of the teacher to find ways to improve the students’ skills. All students know a lot about technological advances such as: the management of social networks, blogs, websites, etc., so why not to apply these interests of students to improve the learning environment and students’ relationship in the classroom.Muchos de los docentes que se encuentran inmersos en la enseñanza del idioma Inglés no cuentan con un conocimiento extenso en cuanto a las estrategias interactivas se trata. Estas actividades deben ser aplicadas en clases; con esta aplicación los estudiantes pueden desarrollar de manera adecuada las cuatro habilidades las cuales son fundamentales dentro del proceso enseñanza – aprendizaje del idioma Inglés. La monotonía en las clases, la falta de material didáctico, la falta de compromiso del docente, etc han sido problemas muy fundamentales que han afectado el correcto desarrollo de las habilidades de los estudiantes en el aprendizaje del idioma Inglés. Las actividades que se realizan dentro del aula son importantes para mejorar la habilidad comunicativa de los estudiantes; sin embargo muchos docentes del área de Inglés solo se limitan al seguimiento de un libro de texto y no usan todas las herramientas tecnológicas a favor del aprendizaje de los estudiantes. La tecnología ha avanzado de una manera muy rápida lo cual ha traído soluciones a muchos problemas, es aquí donde debe primar la vocación del docente por encontrar la manera de mejorar las habilidades de los estudiantes. Todos los estudiantes conocen mucho acerca de los avances tecnológicos como por ejemplo: el manejo de las redes sociales, blogs, páginas web, etc; entonces porque no aplicar estos intereses de los estudiantes para mejorar el ambiente de estudio, la relación entre compañeros en el aula y sobre todo hacer que a los estudiantes les guste el idioma Inglés

Brand Placement in Music Videos: Artists, Brands and Products Appearances in the Billboard Hot 100 from 2003 to 2016

The aim of this paper is to analyze the presence of artists, brands and products in music videos in the best-selling songs; the Billboard Hot 100 from 2003 to 2016. Using a content analysis, we look at 420 music videos at the top of the chart and which artists had more placements, what kind of brands and products were more likely to be linked to music, and the ratio of appearances between placements, brands and products. Firstly, some artists repeatedly appeared at the top of the chart, thereby implying there is a high concentration of a few pop stars in the chart (Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift) and Chris Brown was the artist with the highest number of placements. Development of a teaching team in the coordination of the teaching staff in the university environment

La coordinación en la docencia universitaria se ha establecido como uno de los elementos relevantes para el buen desempeño de la docencia y el buen desarrollo profesional y organizativo. Ante la identificación de la baja satisfacción de los alumnos del Grado de Marketing e Investigación de Mercados de la Universidad de Cádiz con la coordinación docente se plantea la creación de un equipo docente formado por profesores de dicho título con el objetivo de crear procedimientos comunes para conseguir una mejor comunicación del profesorado del Título y resolver así los inconvenientes derivados de la falta de coordinación generando una mayor satisfacción del alumnado. De esta manera se creó y desarrolló el equipo docente estableciéndose reuniones periódicas durante el curso académico 2016/2017 y proponiendo una serie de actividades que ayudasen a conseguir una mayor y mejor coordinación docente. Una vez realizadas las actividades se analizaron los resultados conseguidos durante el curso 2016/2017, comprobándose una mayor satisfacción por parte del alumnado y el profesorado del título. Por lo tanto, la experiencia fue realmente positiva, no obstante, es conveniente que el desarrollo y el estudio dicho equipo docente se siga realizando para los posteriores cursos académicos para corroborar así la eficacia de su implantaciónThe teaching coordination in the university field has been established as one of the main elements for the good performance of teaching and good professional and organizational development Before the identification of the low satisfaction of the students of the Marketing and Market Research Degree of the University of Cadiz with the teaching coordination, the creation of a teaching team made up of professors of said degree is proposed with the aim of creating common procedures to achieve better communication of the Title faculty and to solve the problems derived from the lack of coordination, generating greater student satisfaction. Studying the capacity of cellular encoding to generate feedforward neural network topologies

A method to analyse how the search space is covered and how are the movements along search process applying genetic operators is needed in order to evaluate the different encoding strategies for multilayer perceptrons (MLP). In this paper, the generative capacity, this is how the search space is covered for a indirect scheme based on cellular systems, is studied. “EFICACIA DEL TRATAMIENTO DE TERAPIA FÍSICA EN PACIENTES CON SECUELAS DE QUEMADURAS EN EL HOSPITAL PEDIÁTRICO TACUBAYA EN EL PERIODO DE MAYO - JUNIO 2012”.

Las quemaduras son lesiones en los tejidos vivos frecuentemente provocadas por descuidos siendo en su mayoría los niños los más afectados, causadas por la acción de agentes térmicos, eléctricos, químicos o de radiación, constituyendo una causa frecuente de secuelas físicas, estéticas y psicológicas. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la eficacia del tratamiento de Terapia Física en pacientes con secuelas de quemaduras en el Hospital Pediátrico Tacubaya en el periodo de Mayo - Junio 2012. Se aplicó un cuestionario de evaluación aunado a un dibujo, a pacientes de 7 a 15 años de edad y a familiares de los usuarios, que acudieron al área de medicina física y rehabilitación, realizando la revisión de expedientes de los mismos. Obteniendo como resultados que la eficacia del tratamiento es bueno, al igual que la evolución del paciente. los niños de 7 años son los más afectados, siendo las mujeres las que ocupan el mayor porcentaje de accidentes; la mayoría de las quemaduras se presentaron en zona articular; causadas frecuentemente por un agente térmico; provocando alguna deficiencia, la modalidad terapéutica usada con mayor frecuencia fue el masaje, no hubo cambio significativo en la disminución del dolor, pero si en el prurito, el rendimiento académico e integración social disminuyeron, aunque el nivel mental de la mayoría es de normal alto a superior, sin embargo presentaron un sinfín de emociones y sentimientos, enfrentándonos con secuelas estéticas, funcionales y psicosociale

Análisis de la adaptación de los libros de texto de ESO al currículo oficial, en el campo de la química

Este artículo muestra un análisis del tratamiento dado a la química en los libros de texto de ciencias de la ESO. Se hace una revisión de la bibliografía existente sobre la investigación del libro de texto y se elabora un instrumento de análisis para examinar diversos aspectos de las unidades de química de una muestra de libros de texto. Los resultados obtenidos en este análisis indican hasta qué punto los libros de texto facilitan que los estudiantes consigan los objetivos generales presentes en la legislación oficial.This paper shows an analysis of how chemistry is treated in secondary school textbooks. We have reviewed the existing bibliography on textbook research and have developed a tool to study different aspects of chemistry units from a sample of textbooks. The results thus achieved show how far textbooks enable pupils to attain the general objectives required by official regulations

El juego como recurso para desarrollar el aprendizaje coeducativo

Con este trabajo de fin de grado pretendemos analizar los juegos más populares en los niños y en las niñas a la hora de jugar con sus amigos y amigas. De este modo podemos identificar los estereotipos que hoy día siguen existiendo en el ámbito educativo debido a la sociedad patriarcal. Por ello, la necesidad de implantar un sistema coeducativo en las aulas de los centros, erradicando dichos estereotipos y fomentando una igualdad entre sexos. A raíz de esto, en este trabajo se plantea una propuesta de intervención coeducativa para 5º de Educación Primaria, la cual será llevada a cabo en dos centros públicos de la provincia de Sevilla, a través de la técnica del cuestionario abierto antes y después de realizar la propuesta para observar la efectividad de dicha intervención. Para concluir, a pesar de obtener en los resultados una evolución favorable por parte del alumnado, es fundamental seguir introduciendo la coeducación en la escuela puesto que es una meta que requiere tiempo y debe comenzar desde el profesorado, quienes deben permanecer en continua formación abordando dicho tema.With this end of degree project we intend to analyze the most popular games for children when it comes to playing with their friends. This was we can identify the stereotypes that still exist today in the educational field because of a patriarchal society. Therefore, we have a need to implant a coeducational system in the classrooms, removing said stereotypes and inducing equality between sexes. Starting with the above, this project is a proposal for a coeducational intervention in year 5, which will be carried out in two public schools in the province of Seville, using the technique of an open questionnaire before and after making the suggestion to observe the reality of such action. To conclude, despite obtaining a positive evolution by the students in the results, it is fundamental to continue introducing coeducation in the schools, since it is a goal that requires time and must begin with the teachers, who should remain in continuous training in this subject.Universidad de Sevilla. Development of Cellular Models to Study Efficiency and Safety of Gene Edition by Homologous Directed Recombination Using the CRISPR/Cas9 System

In spite of the enormous potential of CRISPR/Cas in basic and applied science, the levels of undesired genomic modifications cells still remain mostly unknown and controversial. Nowadays, the efficiency and specificity of the cuts generated by CRISPR/Cas is the main concern. However, there are also other potential drawbacks when DNA donors are used for gene repair or gene knock-ins. These GE strategies should take into account not only the specificity of the nucleases, but also the fidelity of the DNA donor to carry out their function. The current methods to quantify the fidelity of DNA donor are costly and lack sensitivity to detect illegitimate DNA donor integrations. In this work, we have engineered two reporter cell lines (K562_SEWAS84 and K562GWP) that efficiently quantify both the on-target and the illegitimate DNA donor integrations in a WAS-locus targeting setting. K562_SEWAS84 cells allow the detection of both HDR-and HITI-based donor integration, while K562GWP cells only report HDR-based GE. To the best of our knowledge, these are the first reporter systems that allow the use of gRNAs targeting a relevant locus to measure efficacy and specificity of DNA donor-based GE strategies. By using these models, we have found that the specificity of HDR is independent of the delivery method and that the insertion of the target sequence into the DNA donor enhances efficiency but do not affect specificity. Generative capacities of cellular automata codification for evolution of NN codification
