Privacy-Preserving Reengineering of Model-View-Controller Application Architectures Using Linked Data

    Get PDF
When a legacy system’s software architecture cannot be redesigned, implementing additional privacy requirements is often complex, unreliable and costly to maintain. This paper presents a privacy-by-design approach to reengineer web applications as linked data-enabled and implement access control and privacy preservation properties. The method is based on the knowledge of the application architecture, which for the Web of data is commonly designed on the basis of a model-view-controller pattern. Whereas wrapping techniques commonly used to link data of web applications duplicate the security source code, the new approach allows for the controlled disclosure of an application’s data, while preserving non-functional properties such as privacy preservation. The solution has been implemented and compared with existing linked data frameworks in terms of reliability, maintainability and complexity

This work focuses on research conducted in schools that give the second cycle of Infantile Education in capital Burgos, regarding the musical education. For it, we appear two aims: 1) to know what initial formation the teachers of the stage received as for musical education and 2) to design and to carry out formative actions that can be realized in agreement to the needs and lacks expressed by the polled group. The research has a design of predominantly descriptive character, bringing together the qualitative thing with the quantitative thing, being served especially the questionnaire as instrument of withdrawal of information. The obtained conclusions will allow to orientate future formative and methodological tasks so much in the initial as permanent formation of the professorship.

Los resultados sugieren que el trabajo rítmico realizado a través de la música ha contribuido a rehabilitar las dislalias funcionales que presentabanIn this work, it is shown the results obtained within two variables: Adaptation to an external rhythm and repetition of rhythmic structures, after implementing, as indirect intervention, a music programme specially designed to improve the functional basis of oral language, to an experimental group of subjects with functional difficulties of articulating the words. Those results have been extracted from a comprehensive research made according to a pre-test- rehabilitation- post-test design, in which for five months the experimental group received music lessons once a week, in addition to the direct intervention session with speech therapist. The control group doesn´t received music lessons and continued his usual speech therapy. The research touched on 7 variables; from those variables, we have selected the two mentioned above because they have a specific relevance on the dysfunctions treated. The results suggest that the rhythmic work through music has helped rehabilitate the difficulties presentin

Clumsiness and Motor Competence in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy

One of the main objectives of physical education and sport (PES) pedagogy in schools is to develop motor competence in children. While many schoolchildren practice sports, there is a group of children that does not receive the educational opportunities to be competent. These children show low motor competence and poor motor coordination. International agencies have called this condition as developmental coordination disorders (DCD) and its definition in short is “poor motor performance in daily activities that is not consistent with the child’s age and intelligence, and is not due to medical condition.” Physical education and sport teachers are the first interventionist with these children. They have the first opportunity of providing primary care to these children. In this chapter, motor coordination problems in school, its prevalence, how these children learn, how physical education and sport teachers can detect them, and why physical education and sport pedagogy must be concerned with this problem, will be analyzed

Lorentzian Metrics Null-Projectively Related to Semi-Riemannian Metrics

    Get PDF
We say that a Lorentzian metric and a semi-Riemannian metric on the same manifold M are null-projectively related if every null geodesic of the Lorentzian metric is an unparametrized geodesic of the semi-Riemannian one. This definition includes the case of conformally related Lorentzian metrics and the case of projectively equivalent metrics. We characterize the null-projectively relation by means of certain tensor and provide some examples. Then, we focus on the special case in which both metrics share parametrized null geodesics. In this case, it is said that they are null related. We show how to construct projectively equivalent metrics via a conformal transformation from null-related ones and conversely. The classical Levi-Civita theorem on projectively equivalent metrics is adapted to the case of null-related metrics and some results ensuring that two null-related metric are affinely equivalent are proven under curvature conditions.Open Access funding provided thanks to the CRUE-CSIC agreement with Springer Nature. // Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Málaga / CBUA

Orientación Emprendedora e Innovación en Productos. El Efecto Moderador de la Implicación Familiar en la Gestión

    Get PDF
In this current research it has been examined, firstly, the Entrepreneurial orientation in relation with Product innovation, Incremental innovation and Radical innovation, and, secondly, the moderating effect of Family involvement in the management of companies in the relationship between Entrepreneurial orientation and Product innovation, Incremental innovation and Radical innovation. Using a sample of 634 Spanish family firms, the results found conclude that the Entrepreneurial orientation has a positive effect on Product innovation, Incremental innovation and Radical innovation, and moreover, they reveal that the Family involvement in the management of companies has a moderating effect on these relations, witnessing that family firms with higher scale of Family involvement in the management of the companies reduces the effect of Entrepreneurial orientation on Product innovation, Incremental innovation and finally, Radical innovation.

This contribution has been published in this repository with the permission of the publisher. This contribution was presented in WEBIST 2018 (http://www.webist.org/?y=2018) and has been published by SCITEPRESS in http://www.scitepress.org/PublicationsDetail.aspx?ID=y9Yt0eHt02o=&.The performance in generic skills is increasingly important for organizations to succeed in the current competitive environment. However, assessing the level of performance in generic skills of the members of an organization is a challenging task, subject to both subjectivity and scalability issues. Organizations usually lay their organizational learning processes on a Knowledge Management System (KMS). This work presents a process model to support managers of KMSs in the assessment of their individuals’ generic skills. The process model was deployed through an extended version of a learning management system. It was connected with different information system tools specifically developed to enrich its features. A case study with Computer Science final-year students working in a software system was conducted following an authentic learning approach, showing promising results.Visaigle Project (grant TIN2017-85797-R)
