Avaliação técnico-económica da produção de bovinos da raça Mertolenga em sete explorações agrícolas - contextos da PAC actual e da PAC pós 2013

O presente trabalho teve por base dados técnicos e económicos recolhidos em explorações agrícolas integrantes da Associação de Criadores de Bovinos Mertolengos (ACBM) no período 2010/2011. Para o registo da informação técnica e económica das explorações agrícolas foram elaborados quadros específicos para identificação, caracterização e valorização económica dos recursos associados à produção de bovinos da raça Mertolenga (terras e águas, melhoramentos fundiários, construções e instalações, máquinas e equipamentos, reprodutores), assim como mapas para registo da utilização dos recursos, da aquisição de produtos e de serviços e dos proveitos obtidos (vendas de animais, subsídios e outros proveitos). Para cada exploração foram determinados os respectivos custos da actividade e custo unitário dos produtos em distintas ópticas, com destaque para «reais e atribuídos» e «variáveis e fixos específicos e não específicos». Dos resultados obtidos destacam-se o valor acrescentado bruto, os rendimentos bruto e líquido de exploração, o rendimento empresarial e o lucro, assim como as margens bruta, de contribuição e líquida e o limiar de rendibilidade para a actividade de produção de bovinos Mertolengos no contexto de cada exploração agrícola. Os resultados obtidos serão analisados no quadro estrutural e tecnológico de cada exploração objecto de estudo e comparados entre si, sendo também considerados os cenários da PAC em vigor e previsível pós 2013

Disponibilidade De Antídotos No Município De Campinas, São Paulo

The lack of availability of antidotes in emergency services is a worldwide concern. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the availability of antidotes used for treating poisoning in Campinas (SP). DESIGN AND SETTING: This was a cross-sectional study of emergency services in Campinas, conducted in 2010-2012. METHODS: The availability, amount in stock, place of storage and access time for 26 antidotal treatments was investigated. In the hospitals, the availability of at least one complete treatment for a 70 kg adult over the first 24 hours of admission was evaluated based on stock and access recommendations contained in two international guidelines. RESULTS: 14 out of 17 functioning emergency services participated in the study, comprising pre-hospital services such as the public emergency ambulance service (SAMU; n = 1) and public emergency rooms for admissions lasting ≤ 24 hours (UPAs; n = 3), and 10 hospitals with emergency services. Six antidotes (atropine, sodium bicarbonate, diazepam, Phytomenadione, flumazenil and calcium gluconate) were stocked in all the services, followed by 13 units that also stocked activated charcoal, naloxone and diphenhydramine or biperiden. No service stocked all of the recommended antidotes; only the regional Poison Control Center had stocks close to recommended (22/26 antidotal treatments). The 10 hospitals had almost half of the antidotes for starting treatments, but only one quarter of the antidotes was present with stocks sufficient for providing treatment for 24 hours. CONCLUSION: The stock of antidotes for attending poisoning emergencies in the municipality of Campinas is incomplete and needs to be improved.1351152

A Ranking Method to Prioritize VFR Airports to be Provided Instrument Approach Procedures

The primary purpose of this work is to investigate the necessity of a more comprehensive and systematic method to prioritize airports to be provided with instrument approaches and landing procedures in the Brazilian air transportation landscape. First, an overview of the main contributors to risks associated with the approach and landing phases is provided, covering the most critical aspects of unstable approaches and controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) events. Second, considering the emergence of Terrain Awareness and Alerting Systems (TAWS), the role of its contribution to safety is discussed and the certification context related to the design, installation, and operation of those systems. A ranking method is developed based on the analysis of TAWS alert events in several Brazilian airports. The technique results in a ranking list of airports eligible for instrument procedures and points to objective means to improve safety, accessibility, and efficiency on the flight operations to those locations

A EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA DO CAPS: EXPERIÊNCIAS DO ESTÁGIO EM GUANAMBI - BA

The objective of this work was to describe the experience of Internship in the Physical Education course at UNEB, held at CAPS II, with the purpose of stimulating and reinforcing sociability. The intervention was based on the proposal of Abid and Ferreira (2010), the information of the experience were recorded through the logbook and the evaluation of the lessons by the talk wheel. During the internship it was noticed that the corporal practices in the CAPS contribute to the thought and action of freedom of expression (to say and to suggest), this implies to create new horizons for the users, since it presupposes the importance of their participation in the decisions that involve the collectivity. One of the weaknesses was the teacher (regent) without training in EF and one of the positive was to the joy of the users in the activities.Este artigo descreve uma experiência de Estágio do curso de Educação Física da UNEB realizada no CAPS II, tendo como intervenção a cultura corporal com o intuito de estimular e reforçar a sociabilidade. A intervenção teve como base a proposição de Abid e Ferreira (2010), as informações da vivência foram registradas por meio do diário de bordo e a avaliação das aulas pela roda de conversa. No decorrer do estágio, notou-se que as práticas corporais no CAPS contribuem para o pensamento e ação de liberdade de expressão (opinar e sugerir), isso implica em criar novos horizontes para os usuários, pois pressupõe a importância de sua participação nas decisões que envolvem a coletividade. Study of the Interference between Plectranthus

Plectranthus is one of the most representative genera of Lamiaceae family. In this study, the essential oils from Plectranthus amboinicus, Plectranthus ornatus, and Plectranthus barbatus were investigated for their chemical composition and antimicrobial and modulatory activities. The major components found were carvacrol (54.4%—P. amboinicus) and eugenol (22.9%—P. ornatus e 25.1%—P. barbatus). In vitro antimicrobial activity was conducted against Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Bacillus cereus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus aureus (multiresistant) using microdilution method. The results of bioassay showed that all strains were sensitive to the oils, except P. aeruginosa that was resistant to P. amboinicus and P. ornatus. A synergistic effect of all essential oils combined with the aminoglycosides was demonstrated. These results show that P. amboinicus, P. ornatus, and P. barbatus inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganism, and besides this they present antibiotic modifying activity, providing a new perspective against the problem of bacterial resistance to antibiotics

As diferenças em torno dos valores culturais: um estudo empírico a partir de entidades listadas em índices europeus.

Artigo em revista científica internacional com arbitragem científicaA influência do fator cultural no âmbito da subcultura da Contabilidade é reconhecida pela literatura, que não descura os seus eventuais impactos na comparabilidade do relato financeiro. A presente investigação visa aferir a eventual existência de distintos níveis de valores culturais propostos por Gray (1988) em função de agrupamentos regionais. Adicionalmente, pretende-se testar a existência de uma eventual associação entre os referidos valores culturais. A recolha dos dados foi realizada a partir dos relatórios e contas consolidados anuais, referentes a 2013 e 2014, divulgados pelas entidades cotadas (grupos não financeiros) nos índices bolsistas relativos a mercados financeiros da União Europeia (UE), tendo sido utilizada a análise de conteúdo como metodologia. Após a aplicação de critérios específicos de seleção, a população final deste estudo é constituída por 137 entidades. Os resultados obtidos a partir da aplicação de técnicas de análise não-paramétricas bivariadas sugerem que o conservadorismo distingue-se em função de alguns agrupamentos regionais. Constata-se ainda a existência de uma conexão positiva entre o conservadorismo e o secretismo. Um dos contributos desta investigação consiste, entre outros, na identificação do potencial impacto da cultura sobre o julgamento profissional, mesmo no contexto do avançado processo de harmonização contabilística internacional em curso.The influence of cultural factor within the subculture of accounting is recognized by the literature, that does not neglect its possible impact on comparability of financial reporting. This research seeks to analyze the possible existence of distinct levels of cultural values proposed by Gray (1988) on the basis of regional groups. Additionally, it is intended to test the existence of a possible association between the cultural values, as well as between these and the qualitative characteristics. Data collection was carried out from the reports and consolidated annual accounts, for 2013 and 2014, disclosed by non-financial entities listes in stock indexes relating to financial markets of the European Union, having been used as content analysis methodology. After the application of the selection criteria, the final population of this study encompasses 137 entities. The findings based on the application of non-parametric bivariate analysis techniques suggest that the conservatism could be distinguished on the basis of some regional groups. The existence of a positive connection between conservatism and secrecy is equally noticed. One of the contributions of this investigation is constituted by, among others, the identification of the potential impact of culture in the context of professional judgment, even in the context of advanced international accounting harmonisation process.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

This article examines aspects of the socio-functionalist paradigm, an approach that fuses, within the study of variation and change, theoretical and methodological hypotheses of Variationist Sociolinguistics and of Functionalism. Two studies illustrate the sociofuncionalist process for data analysis: in the first, with synchronic treatment, we highlight future tense expression with gerundive periphrases; in the second, from a diachronic perspective, we address the grammaticalization and variation of the present perfect.Este artigo tece algumas considerações sobre o paradigma sociofuncionalista, abordagemque conjuga, no estudo da variação e da mudança, pressupostos teórico-metodológicosda Sociolinguística variacionista e do Funcionalismo. Estágio em Educação Física na saúde mental: experiência em ministrar práticas corporais

The text purpose is to describe the internship experience of the Physical Education course, held at the Center for Psychosocial Attention Alcohol and drugs (CAPS-AD), based on the experience of teaching body practices. This work is an experience report of qualitative approach and descriptive character. For the data collection we used the observation script, the logbook and the conversation circle. The intervention schedule was composed by: games and jokes, physical exercises and sports practices. We highlighted as results: the satisfaction of the users in doing the body practices, joy in remembering the childhood and the participation of the spectators of the soccer game in stretching and warm up. Finally, the diversification of body practices has contributed to the adherence and attendance of users in Physical Education workshops. This result is credited to the performance of activities according to the users traits and use of playfulness.O objetivo do texto é descrever a experiência de Estágio do curso de Educação Física, realizado no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Drogas (CAPS-AD), pautado na vivência de ministrar práticas corporais. Este trabalho é um relato de experiência de abordagem qualitativa e caráter descritivo. Para a coleta dos dados utilizamos o roteiro de observação, o diário de bordo e a roda de conversa. O cronograma de intervenção foi composto por: jogos e brincadeiras, exercícios físicos e práticas esportivas. Destacamos como resultados: a satisfação dos usuários em fazer as práticas corporais, alegria em relembrar a infância e participação dos expectadores do jogo de futebol no alongamento e aquecimento. Enfim, a diversificação de práticas corporais contribuiu para a adesão e assiduidade dos usuários nas oficinas de Educação Física. Tal resultado é creditado a realização das atividades de acordo com as características dos usuários e uso da ludicidade
