¿Es el huerto escolar ecológico una propuesta didáctica presente en las escuelas infantiles (0-3 años) de la provincia de Sevilla?

Nuestro trabajo gira en torno al huerto escolar con el propósito de ofrecer una visión clara y objetiva del lugar que este ocupa en las Escuelas Infantiles (0-3 años) de la provincia de Sevilla. Para ello, hemos optado por una investigación de corte cualitativo, donde a través de un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas y cerradas se han tratado aspectos como el papel del alumnado participante, la estructura, el carácter ecológico, la intervención de las familias, el enfoque didáctico y las experiencias desarrolladas en torno al huerto. Este instrumento se ha aplicado tanto a escuelas de carácter privado como a aquellas subvencionadas por la Junta de Andalucía. Como resultado hemos obtenido un número muy escaso de centros que incluyen esta iniciativa en sus instalaciones. Por ende, urge la necesidad de llevar a cabo investigaciones en el ámbito educativo que doten de un papel protagonista al medio ambiente.Our work revolves around the school garden with the purpose of offering a clear and objective vision of the place of it in the Nursery Schools (0-3 years) of the province of Seville. To do this, we have opted for a qualitative research, where through a questionnaire of opened and closed questions we have extracted aspects such as the role of participating students, the structure, the ecological nature, the intervention of families, the didactic approach and the experiences developed around the garden. This instrument has been applied to both private schools and those subsidized by the Junta de Andalucía. As a result, we have obtained a very limited number of centers that include this initiative in their facilities. Digital Marketing for Sustainable Growth: Business Models and Online Campaigns Using Sustainable Strategies

t: In recent years, digital marketing has transformed the way in which companies communicate with their customers around the world. The increase in the use of social networks and how users communicate with companies on the Internet has given rise to new business models based on the bidirectionality of communication between companies and Internet users. Digital marketing, new business models, online advertising campaigns, and other digital strategies have gathered user opinions and comments through this new online channel. In this way, companies have started to see the digital ecosystem as not only their present, but also as their future. From this long-term perspective, companies are concerned about sustainability and the growth of their business models. There are new business models on the Internet that support social causes, new platforms aimed at supporting social and sustainable projects, and digital advertising campaigns promoting sustainability. The overarching aim of this Special Issue was to analyze the development of these new strategies as well as their influence on the sustainability of digital marketing strategies. Therefore, we aimed to analyze how companies adopt these new technologies in a digital environment that is increasingly concerned with the sustainability of business models and actions on the Internet

Performance of people with diabetes in the labor market: An empirical approach controlling for complications

ABSTRACT: This paper introduces a framework for modelling the impact that diabetes has on employment status and wages, improving the existing literature by controlling for diabetes-related complications. Using the last wave of the Spanish National Health Survey, we find that 1710 adults out of the original sample of 36,087 have diabetes, reporting higher rates of unemployment. Our empirical results suggest that persons with diabetes, compared with non-diabetic persons, have poorer labor outcomes in terms of length of unemployment and lower income. However, diabetes is not significantly associated with unemployment probabilities, suggesting that the burden of diabetes on employment is mediated by lifestyle factors and clinical and functional complications. In addition, there are mixed outcomes to this econometric approach, depending on age and gender, among other factors. This interesting finding has several implications for research and policy on strategies to get lower health inequalities

Socioeconomic differences in the associations between diabetes and hospital admission and mortality among olderadults in Europe

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to explain the trends in socioeconomic inequality and diabetes outcomes in terms of hospital admission and death in old European people. The sample includes 73,301 individuals, across 16 European countries taken from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). People being diagnosed of diabetes were more likely to be admitted to hospital than those without diabetes, although its effect dropped after controlling for clinical and functional complications. Largest asscociations were observed in women, people aged 50?65 years old, with medium educational level and medium household income. Diabetes was significant and positively related to mortality in the whole sample. Diabetes is significantly associated with mortality risk especially in males, oldest old people, low education and medium income people. These findings have important implications for public policies to reduce socioeconomic-related health inequalities

Las experiencias musicales del coro vocacional del municipio de Dosquebradas en el primer semestre del año 2018

Los principales resultados y conclusiones obtenidos durante la realización del proyecto se refieren a las características de las melodías y las armonías de las obras musicales que hacen parte del repertorio coral infantil; los aspectos metodológicos de las organizaciones corales; los aspectos administrativos y las experiencias en los eventos. Las conclusiones se orientaron desde la discusión sobre el repertorio, las características del texto, los registros de la extensión de la capacidad vocal de los integrantes, las obras en distintos idiomas, un método de enseñanza musical, la vinculación de valores y la creación de sentido de pertenencia por medio de la música folclórica colombiana, la creatividad a la hora de realizar el montaje del repertorio seleccionado y los desafíos metodológicos relacionados con la temática que se va a estudiar

Un nuevo rumbo para el servicio de transporte: ¿Por qué las empresas intermediarias no serían responsables administrativamente por las fallas de seguridad?

¿Es posible sancionar administrativamente a una empresa intermediaria por las afectaciones y/o riesgos que un usuario pueda recibir en un servicio de transporte? Es frecuente encontrar trabajos académicos sobre las particularidades de los servicios de intermediación dentro del esquema de economía colaborativa pero son muy pocos los estudios que analizan estas particularidades en relación a la responsabilidad atribuible a las empresas intermediarias u operadores detrás de una plataforma colaborativa. En ese contexto, en el presente artículo el autor responderá a la interrogante acerca de la atribución de responsabilidad administrativa de las empresas intermediarias u operadores por las fallas de seguridad que se presenten en la prestación del servicio de transporte brindado por los usuarios-conductores. De esta manera, en primer lugar, se realiza una definición jurídica del modelo de negocio del servicio de transporte contratado a través de plataformas colaborativas. En segundo lugar, se clasifican las fallas de seguridad que surgen en el servicio de transporte brindado por el usuario-conductor; para luego, analizar la responsabilidad que asumen los intermediarios u operadores por las diversas problemáticas que pueden surgir en este servicio. En ese sentido, podremos concluir que un intermediario no puede asumir responsabilidad respecto a fallas de seguridad en el servicio de transporte.Trabajo académic

Maloclusión de clase III esquelética, tratamiento ortodóncico-quirúrgico con osteotomía sagital de rama mandibular bilateral

RESUMENSe reporta un caso de un paciente masculino de 19 años 3 meses, cuyo motivo de consulta fue «tener molestias en la mandíbula». Es clase III esquelética, hiperdivergente, clase III molar bilateral, clase III canina bilateral, con los incisivos superiores proclinados, la mordida cruzada anterior y posterior bilateral, tiene apiñamiento superior e inferior, con la línea media dental inferior desviada, presenta colapso maxilar, el tercer molar inferior izquiero en formación, el paciente no refiere ningún hábito. El tratamiento se realizó en tres fases, fase prequirúrgica: alineación, nivelación, descompensación dental, tripodismo (estabilidad oclusal), expansión transversal. Fase quirúrgica: cirugía mandibular Le Fort I: avance: 5mm, Fase postquirúrgica: detallado y retención. Tiempo de tratamiento activo 4 años 4 meses. Se utilizaron retenedores removibles Hawley superior e inferior y fijos de caninos a caninos tanto en superior como en inferior. El resultado del tratamiento fue exitoso, con la obtención de clases I caninas y molares bilaterales, sobremordida horizontal y vertical adecuadas, líneas medias coincidentes, correcta intercuspidación y un perfil facial armónico. Tiempo de 4 años y 4 meses.ABSTRACTA case of a male patient of 19 years 3 months of age is reported. The chief complaint was having discomfort in the jaw. The diagnosis was a hyperdivergent skeletal class III, bilateral molar and canine class III with proclined upper incisors, bilateral anterior and posterior cross-bite, upper and lower crowding with a lower dental midline deviation. The patient also had a maxillary collapse. The patient did not refer any habit. Treatment was conducted in three phases: a pre-surgical phase: alignment, leveling, dental decompensation, tripodism (occlusal stability), transverse expansion. Surgical Phase: Mandibular LeFort I Surgery: 5mm advancement. Post-surgical phase: Detailing, retention. Active treatment time was 4 years 4 months. Removable upper and lower Hawley retainers and fixed canine to canine both in the upper and lower arch were used. Treatment outcome was successful, obtaining bilateral canine and molar Class I, normal overjet and overbite, coincident midlines, adequate intercuspation and a harmonic facial profile
