El artículo constituye una reflexión sobre el Modelo Comprensivo de Gysbers, sus bases teóricas, su estructura organizativa y funcional. Su fundamentación en las teorías del Desarrollo de la Carrera; el carácter de comprensividad como seña de identidad y su integración en el proceso educativo propician; por un lado establecer un paralelismo con el modelo institucional de orientación de nuestro país; por otro retomarlo como inspiración para el modelo organizativo y funcional del Plan de Orientación y Acción Tutorial en nuestros centros de secundaria

Religious environment and power groups. The example of dissappeared Franciscan convent of Burges

A través de algunas de las noticias documentales y de algunas de las obras artísticas que pertenecieron al desaparecido convento franciscano de Brujas se hace una aproximación a la espiritualidad expresada por los diferentes grupos sociales y comitentes que hicieron alarde de su patronazgo en la iglesia. Destacan la capilla de la cofradía de la Virgen del Árbol seco, una devoción relacionada directamente con los duques de Borgoña cuya estructura y ceremonia recuerda, en gran medida, la de la Orden del Toisón de oro, y la capilla de la nación castellana y vizcaína. Los duques de Borgoña como benefactores directos de la iglesia realizaron importantes donaciones, ejemplo que fue emulado por nobles y burgueses, buscando así tanto el favor de la corte como una fórmula por la que resarcirse de sus negocios terrenalesSeveral documentary evidences and some works of art, which belonged to the disappeared Franciscan convent of Bruges, have been used to show how the spirituality of social groups and patrons was expressed under their patronage. Una tabla de " Susana y los viejos" de Vincent Sellaer, en el Museo de San Telmo de San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa)

Atendiendo a razones estilísticas se atribuye una pintura del tema de Susana y los viejos del Museo San Telmo de San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa) a Vincent Sellaer, pintor flamenco de mediados del siglo XVI, muy influido por las propuestas italianas de Rafael y Andrea del Sarto. Alabado por Karel van Mander a comienzos del siglo XVII, en los últimos años están apareciendo nuevas aportaciones a su catálogo de obras. La singularidad de la tabla que aquí se estudia, ha promovido la búsqueda de su origen en el coleccionismo hispano de siglos precedentes, sugiriendo, a modo de hipótesis, una procedencia de las colecciones regias.According to the stile, it is attributed to Vincent Sellaer the painting of Susanna with the elders at the San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian. He is a Flemish painter working around the middle of 16th Century, very influenced by the Italians, Raphael and Andrea del Sarto. Praised by Karel van Mander at the beginning of 17th Century, in recent years they are been published other attributions to his production. The singularity of this painting, which is studied below, has caused to look up over its provenance in Spanish collections of centuries before. Only, as a hypothesis, it is suggested that the painting comes from the Spanish royal collection

Un tríptico del taller del Maestro del Hijo Pródigo en Ciudad Rodrigo (Salamanca)

Se propone en este estudio la atribución del tríptico de la Sagrada Familia con Santa Catalina y Santa Bárbara, conservado en el oratorio del palacio episcopal de Ciudad Rodrigo (Salamanca), al prolífico taller del Maestro del Hijo Pródigo. Recolocado como parte del retablo barroco que decora el altar, su estado de conservación es delicado, lo que ha provocado diferentes confusiones en la historiografía existente en cuanto a su iconografía y dudas en su autoría.This study suggests that the triptych with the Holy Family and Saint Catharine and Saint Barbara, displayed in the chapel of bishop's palace of Ciudad Rodrigo (Salamanca), should be attributed to the prolific workshop of the Master of the Prodigal Son. Removed to be part of the baroque altarpiece, its preservation conditions are not the appropriate ones, thus, causing several confusions to what its iconography is concerned and arising doubts regarding its authorship

Oxoperoxovanadium Complexes of Hetero Ligands: X-Ray Crystal Structure, Density Functional Theory, and Investigations on DNA/ BSA Interactions, Cytotoxic, and Molecular Docking Studies

Oxoperoxovanadium (V) complexes [VO (O)2 (nf ) (bp)] (1) and [VO (O)2 (ox) (bp)] (2) based on 5-nitro-2-furoic acid (nf ), oxine (ox) and 2, 2 bipyridine (bp) bidentate ligands have been synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, UV-visible, mass, and NMR spectroscopic techniques. e structure of complex 2 shows distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal geometry, as con rmed by a single-crystal XRD di raction study. e interactions of complexes with bovine serum albumin (BSA) and calf thymus DNA (CTDNA) are investigated using UV-visible and uorescence spectroscopic techniques. It has been observed that CT-DNA interacts with complexes through groove binding mode and the binding constants for complexes 1 and 2 are 8.7 ×103M−1 and 8.6 ×103M−1, respectively, and BSA quenching constants for complexes 1 and 2 are 0.0628 ×106M−1 and 0.0163 ×106M−1, respectively. e ability of complexes to cleave DNA is investigated using the gel electrophoresis method with pBR322 plasmid DNA. Furthermore, the cytotoxic e ect of the complexes is evaluated against the HeLa cell line using an MTT assay. e complexes are subjected to density functional theory calculations to gain insight into their molecular geometries and are in accordance with the results of docking studies. Furthermore, based on molecular docking studies, the intermolecular interactions responsible for the stronger binding a£nities between metal complexes and DNA are discussed
