En 2006 et 2013, le Centre régional du livre de Bourgogne avait conduit deux études sur la filière du livre en Bourgogne, donnant une vision synthétique de cette filière par métiers. La présente étude vise à approfondir la connaissance particulière du commerce de la librairie en Bourgogne, en s’attardant plus finement sur sa dimension économique

Joseph II Cellony (1730-1786) : l’Académie contre l’oubli

La récente exposition du musée de Marseille a mis en évidence le rôle central de l’Académie dans la formation et la carrière des artistes, parfois au point d’en constituer la seule trace subsistante. C’est le cas de Joseph II Cellony (1730-1786), fils et petit-fils de portraitistes aixois, qui renonça à une carrière officielle après avoir échoué à se faire reconnaître en tant que peintre d’histoire. Ses peintures, non localisées, ne permettent hélas de se faire une idée de l’artiste ; il existe en revanche un groupe de dessins, la plupart à la plume, qui témoigne d’une main habile. Les deux sources que nous publions ici, la notice manuscrite rédigée par son frère Jean-Louis ainsi que les mentions des relations que Cellony entretint avec l’Académie de peinture et de sculpture de Marseille au début des années 1760, permettent de mieux comprendre la trajectoire de cet artiste gentilhomme ; à ces quelques points de repère biographiques, nous proposons de relier un premier corpus de dessins.The 2016 exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Marseille highlighted the central role of the Marseille Academy in the training and career of artists, sometimes to the extent of it being the only remaining trace of them. This is the case of Joseph II Cellony (1730-1786), son and grandson of Aix-en-Provence portrait painters, who gave up an official career after failing to be recognized as a history painter. His paintings, their whereabouts unknown, unfortunately do not allow us to form an opinion of the artist. On the other hand, a group of his drawings, most of them pen and ink, suggest he had a skillful hand. The two sources that we publish here—the hand-written biography by his brother Jean-Louis as well as the mentions of the relations that Cellony maintained with the Marseille Academy of Painting and Sculpture in the early 1760s—make it possible to better understand the life this gentleman artist

Les partenariats entreprises/associations comme intermédiaires hybrides des enjeux de la RSE et de l'ESS

International audienceCette communication a pour objectif d'expliquer en quoi les partenariats entreprises/associations peuvent constituer des intermédiaires hybrides (au sens de Callon 1991) d'une amorce de concrétisation de la Responsabilité Sociétale pour les entreprises et d'un rapprochement entre l'ESS et la RSE, notamment en favorisant un transfert de connaissance entre le monde associatif et le monde de l'entreprise. Cette recherche part du terrain des partenariats et de ses « faits étonnants », qui permettent de formuler des conjectures théoriques sur les mécanismes à l'œuvre, pour aboutir in fine sur des implications pour ce terrain, selon une approche par abduction. Nous montrerons notamment comment les partenariats permettent à la fois de concrétiser certaines attentes du référentiel international ISO 26000, en terme d'opérationnalisation de la Responsabilité Sociétale, et comment ils peuvent rapprocher des acteurs de l'ESS et de la RSE

Réformes territoriales et exercice de la compétence tourisme par l’institution publique départementale française. Cas exploratoires de la Charente-Maritime et des Deux-Sèvres

En France, plusieurs régions et intercommunalités ont connu, ces cinq dernières années, de profondes évolutions tant dans leurs dimensions spatiales que dans l’attribution d’un portefeuille de compétence. Le département, soumis à diverses menaces de disparition, est confirmé dans sa compétence de solidarité et de cohésion territoriale. Le tourisme est une compétence partagée par l’ensemble des collectivités territoriales. Aussi, dans sa politique touristique, le département doit, selon le Code du tourisme, se coordonner avec les autres collectivités territoriales. Nous nous sommes interrogés sur l’évolution des conditions de l’exercice des institutions publiques départementales françaises dans ce contexte de récentes réformes territoriales. Nous examinerons la manière dont les comités départementaux du tourisme, organisme d’application de la politique départementale du tourisme, réagissent face à l’évolution du contexte territorial. Nous analyserons pour cela deux départements à intensité touristique hétérogène : la Charente Maritime et les Deux Sèvres.In France, several regions and intermunicipalities have undergone profound changes over the last five years, both in their spatial dimensions and in the allocation of a portfolio of competences. The department, subject to various threats of disappearance, is confirmed in its competence of solidarity and territorial cohesion. Tourism is a competence shared by all the local authorities. Therefore, in its tourism policy, the department must, according to the tourism code, coordinate with the other local authorities. We asked ourselves about the evolution of the conditions under which French departmental public institutions operate in this context of recent territorial reforms. We will examine the way in which the departmental tourism committees, responsible for implementing departmental tourism policy, react to changes in the territorial context. To this end, we analyze two departments with heterogeneous tourism intensity: Deux-Sèvres and Charente-Maritime

French Translation and Validation of the Rating-of-Fatigue Scale

Background The Rating of Fatigue (ROF) scale can measure changes in perceived fatigue in a variety of contexts. Objective The aim of the present study was to translate and subsequently validate the ROF scale in the French language. Methods The study was composed of three phases. Phase 1 involved a comprehensive translation, back-translation, and consolidation process in order to produce the French ROF scale. During phase 2, the face validity of the French ROF scale was assessed. A cohort of 60 native French speaking participants responded to a range of Likert scale items which probed the purposes of the ROF scale and what it is intended to measure. During phase 3, the convergent and divergent validity of the ROF scale was assessed during ramped cycling to exhaustion and 10 min of resting recovery. Results The results from phase 1 demonstrated comparability and interpretability between the original and back-translated ROF scale. In phase 2, participants reported a high face validity, with a score of 3.48 ± 0.70 out of 4 when given the item probing whether the scale “measures fatigue”. This score further improved (3.67 ± 0.57, P = 0.01) after participants read the accompanying instructions. Participants were able to distinguish the purposes of the scale for measuring fatigue rather than exertion. In phase 3, strong correlations were found between ROF and heart rate (HR) both during exercise (r = 0.91, P < 0.01) and recovery (r = 0.92, P < 0.01), while discriminant validity between ROF and rating of perceived exertion (RPE) was found during recovery. Conclusion The present study permits the applications of the ROF scale in the French language

Indian Ocean sources of Agulhas leakage

We examine the mean pathways, transit timescales, and transformation of waters flowing from the Pacific and the marginal seas through the Indian Ocean (IO) on their way toward the South Atlantic within a high-resolution ocean/sea-ice model. The model fields are analyzed from a Lagrangian perspective where water volumes are tracked as they enter the IO. The IO contributes 12.6 Sv to Agulhas leakage, which within the model is 14.1 ± 2.2 Sv, the rest originates from the South Atlantic. The Indonesian Through-flow constitutes about half of the IO contribution, is surface bound, cools and salinificates as it leaves the basin within 10–30 years. Waters entering the IO south of Australia are at intermediate depths and maintain their temperature-salinity properties as they exit the basin within 15–35 years. Of these waters, the contribution from Tasman leakage is 1.4 Sv. The rest stem from recirculation from the frontal regions of the Southern Ocean. The marginal seas export 1.0 Sv into the Atlantic within 15–40 years, and the waters cool and freshen on-route. However, the model's simulation of waters from the Gulfs of Aden and Oman are too light and hence overly influenced by upper ocean circulations. In the Cape Basin, Agulhas leakage is well mixed. On-route, temperature-salinity transformations occur predominantly in the Arabian Sea and within the greater Agulhas Current region. Overall, the IO exports at least 7.9 Sv from the Pacific to the Atlantic, thereby quantifying the strength of the upper cell of the global conveyor belt
