This paper emphasizes the importance of intonational studies, focusing on the final intonational contour in interrogative sentences in German and Brazilian Portuguese. Following considerations about intonation in general we present some observations about effects of intonation in such sentences at both syntactic and pragmatic levels.Der vorliegende Beitrag untersucht die Relevanz der Intonationsforschungen in Hinsicht auf die Rolle des terminalen Konturs in Fragesätzen im Deutschen und im brasilianischen Portugiesisch. Experiência profissionalizante na vertente de farmácia hospitalar, farmácia comunitária e investigação

O presente documento elaborado no âmbito da etapa final do curso de Mestrado Integrado em Ciências Farmacêuticas encontra-se dividido em três capítulos, sendo eles os relatórios de estágio em farmácia hospitalar e em farmácia comunitária, como também o trabalho de investigação. Nos relatórios de estágio pretende-se ir muito além de uma descrição das atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio curricular, pretende-se também abordar quais as problemáticas da atualidade e soluções que podem ser apresentadas, ou seja, a intenção é de fazer uma análise crítica daquilo que eu como estagiário e futuro farmacêutico pude constatar neste período de estágio. Os relatórios de estágio encontram-se divididos em diversos pontos, sendo que na fase inicial é realizada uma contextualização profissional, passando por breves descrições dos serviços, encontrando-se de seguida uma análise SWOT e, por fim, uma breve conclusão. Os estágios em conjunto com os respetivos relatórios foram sem dúvida um passo importante para a minha profissionalização. Quanto ao trabalho de investigação, o foco incidiu na problemática relacionada com as complicações a longo prazo resultantes da utilização de imunossupressores em doentes sujeitos a transplante de órgãos, em particular o aparecimento de cancro. Assim, de forma mais específica, teve-se como objetivo a análise sistemática de dados sobre o aumento da incidência de cancro e o uso de um imunossupressor, o tacrolímus.The present document elaborated in the scope of the Integrated Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is divided in three chapters, such chapters are the reports of the traineeships in hospital pharmacy and in community pharmacy, as well as the research work. In both traineeship reports the intent is to go beyond a description of the activities developed during the curricular stage, it is also intended to address the current problems and solutions that can be presented, that is, a critical analysis of that I as a trainee and future pharmacist could verify during this internship period. The internship reports are constituted by several points, in the initial phase a professional context is made, with short descriptions of services, followed by a SWOT analysis and, lastly, a brief conclusion. The internships and the respective reports were undoubtedly an important step towards my professionalization. Regarding the research work, the focus was put on issues related to the long-term complications resulting from the use of immunosupressants in patients undergoing organ trasplantation, in particular the appearance of cancer. Os verbos de transporte aprefixados com weg- : uma análise contrastiva de dados produzidos por informantes alemães e brasileiros

This paper examines four German transportation verbs with the prefix weg-, concentrating on their syntax and their semantic and pragmatic interpretations. The empirical data investigated are from across-linguistic Corpus of German and Brazilian Portuguese as foreign languages. The analysis is based on the concept of focus, which is defined as a point on the path along which the patient of the process moves. The focus must be either mentioned or contextually evident. Each transportation verb will be able to establish a typical focus. German prefix-verbs with weg- are characterized by a focus-conflict that can be resolved through different interpretation strategies.Der vorliegende Aufsatz untersucht vier deutsche Transportverben mit dem Präfix weg- hinsichtlich ihrer Syntax sowie ihrer semantischen und pragmatischen Interpretationen. Die analysierten empirischen Daten stammen aus einem kontrastiven Korpus des Deutschen und des brasilianischen Portugiesisch als Fremdsprachen. Die Analyse gründet sich auf das Konzept des Fokus, der definiert wird als ein Punkt auf dem vom Patiens des Prozesses durchlaufenen Weg. Der Fokus muß entweder erwähnt werden oder kontextuell evident sein. Jedes Transportverb besitzt die Fähigkeit, einen typischen Fokus zu etablieren. The Contribution of a Model to Estimate Activities in Software Projects Based on Lessons Learned

Purpose – The main objective of this article is to propose the use of a model developed by Matturo and Silva (2010) to capture knowledge in software projects based on the lessons learned.Design/methodology/approach – We carried out a qualitative research from a descriptive perspective through a single case study applied to an Enterprise Information Technology company. The company is a leader in market solutions to support customer experience management. For the data collection process, we used systematic literature review, document analysis and semi-structured interviews.Findings – The results supported project managers to better understand the storage and use of information from lessons learned in dimensioning the use of human resources and to support the estimation of new project activities. In addition, the results showed the organization's disregard for not giving due importance to the information and knowledge generated during the life cycle of a project.Research, Practical & Social implications – The model allows companies to obtain new knowledge or consult existing knowledge throughout the life cycle of projects and to support project managers in the process of estimating activities and preparing budgets with greater precision, using the information from lessons learned as a support. acquired in the completed projects.Originality/value – The lack of information in the initial scope of the project and in the definition of activities in the human resource allocation process hinder the duration of the project's development activities, directly resulting in inaccurate estimates. As a result, this scenario contributes to the increased risk of deviations in terms and / or costs of software projects.

A pandemia de COVID-19 em Portugal: Evolução, Vacinação e Farmacovigilância

The disease caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) was first reported in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, and subsequently it spread throughout the world.On March 2, 2020, the first two cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Portuguese territory, with the first death to be registered two weeks later, on March 16. Thereafter, a wide and variable set of sanitary measures were applied, as well as the publication of norms and guidelines by the Directorate-General of Health (DGS) and by the National Authority of Medicines and Health Products, I.P. (INFARMED). Later, on December 27, 2020, the first vaccine against COVID-19 (Comirnaty®; BioNTech Manufacturing GmbH/Pfizer) was administered at the University Hospital Centre of São João, in Porto, marking the beginning of the defined vaccination plan by the task-force and the involvement of different health professionals.Pharmacovigilance of vaccines against COVID-19 is an area of ​​enormous importance, through the generation of real-world evidence on post-marketing safety and effectiveness. The Pharmacovigilance Systems are responsible for receiving, validating, analysing, requesting additional data, codifying and collaborating in the attribution of causality to all suspected adverse reactions.The aim of this article is to portray the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal, with regard to its evolution, vaccination plan and Pharmacovigilance activities. Additionally, the issue is articulated with the international reality, highlighting the main measures, stakeholders and impact on public health.A doença provocada pelo novo vírus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) foi relatada pela primeira vez em dezembro de 2019, em Wuhan, China, e posteriormente disseminou-se por todo o mundo.A 2 de março de 2020, foram confirmados os primeiros dois casos de COVID-19 em território português, com a primeira morte a ser registada duas semanas depois, a 16 de março. Daí em diante, um conjunto alargado e variável de medidas sanitárias foram aplicadas, assim como a publicação de normas e orientações pela Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS) e pela Autoridade Nacional do Medicamento e Produtos de Saúde, I.P. (INFARMED). MEIO IMPRESSO OU DIGITAL? ANÁLISE DE REPORTAGEM DA REVISTA VEJA SAÚDE À LUZ DOS SIGNIFICADOS DA GRAMÁTICA DO DESIGN VISUAL

Este artigo tem como objetivo principal comparar as versões impressa e digital da reportagem Reconecte-se com a comida, veiculada pela revista Veja Saúde, em setembro de 2020. Em tempos de isolamento social, as pessoas foram obrigadas a permanecer mais em casa, o que pode ter intensificado, em muitos lares, o consumo de informações por meios digitais. A relevância social da pesquisa é justificada pela importância do “pensar” sobre as semelhanças e disparidades existentes entre leitura em meio impresso e leitura em meio digital. Para o estudo, foram investigados comparativamente os significados composicionais à luz da Gramática do Design Visual – de Kress e Van Leewen, abrangendo concepções sobre os possíveis percursos de leitura e o papel da imagem. Os resultados evidenciaram que a composição pode interferir na leitura do observador, tendo em vista o meio de veiculação da informação. Dessa forma, pôde-se comprovar a hipótese inicial, uma vez que a trajetória de leitura do espectador é direcionada pelo uso que se faz, sobretudo, das saliências, da moldura e do valor da informação. Enquanto a versão digital tende a uma leitura mais linear, a versão impressa pode direcionar para uma sequência não linear

Contribuições da hermenêutica filosófica aos estudos da estratégia como prática

O campo de estudos sobre estratégia como prática apresenta-se incipiente no que diz respeito aos contornos epistemológicos e metodológicos atrelados ao paradigma qualitativo. Pretende-se, a partir desse estudo, discutir possíveis contribuições da Hermenêutica Filosófica para configuração do desenho empírico metodológico de pesquisas em estratégia como prática. A proposta de reflexão por esta lente descortina uma forma inovadora de perceber a realidade social, envolvendo interprete e contexto. Captar sentido e significado da estratégia se processa a partir da percepção do sujeito envolvido no fazer estratégia, ou do pesquisador, desvinculada de qualquer procedimento metodológico antecipadamente definido, tendo em vista especificidades particulares da ação humana e da individualidade dos sujeitos, que fornecem elementos quando são inquiridos pelos pesquisadores, traçando contornos metodológicos com base no fenômeno investigado
