    THE EFFECT OF USING ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK STRATEGY ON READING COMPREHENSION OF THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS AT STATE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 3 TELUK KUANTAN

    In this research the learners still had problems in learning reading, For example, some students could not understand about the content of reading text and identify the detailed information of the text. They could not also answer the questions given after reading a text, especially on narrative text. The objective of this research was to find out whether there was significant effect of using Rock Around The Clock strategy on reading comprehension of narrative text. The design of this research was a quasi experimental design. The population of this research was the students of the second year at State Junior High School of 3 Teluk Kuantan in 2013-2014 academic years. The total number of population was 58 students. The sample was taken by using cluster sampling. The sample was class VIII B that consisted of 19 students as experimental group, and class VIII C consisted of 19 students as control group. So, the number of sample from two classes was 38 students. To analyze the data, the researcher adopted independent sample T-test formula by using SPSS 16 version. After analyzing the data, the writer found that the score of to was higher than t table, which showed (2.032.72). It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using Rock Around The Clock strategy on reading comprehension of the second year students at state Junior High School 3 Teluk Kuanta

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perlakuan Prosedur pemesanan kendaraan tunai dan kredit pada PT. Arista Auto Prima Honda Arista, sehingga dapat diketahui apakah yang dilakukan sesuai dengan ketentuan atau tidak.Penulis melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) pada PT. Arista Auto Prima Honda Arista yang berlokasi di jalan Dr.M. Hasan No. 100 Desa Batoh Banda Aceh.PT. Arista Auto Prima adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang otomatif yang menjual kendaraan roda empat khusus merek Honda.Prosedur pemesanan kenderaan telah diterapkan sebagaimana mestinya dan berjalan dengan baik, dimana prosedur pemesanan kendaraan dilakukan secara tunai dan kredit yang didasarkan dengan SPK ( Surat Pemesanan Kendaraan ) Diisi oleh salesman untuk mencatat pesanan pelanggan. Dokumen ini diisi dengan keterangan dari pelanggan antara lain : Nama Pemesan, Alamat Domisili/Usaha, Nomor Telepon, Unit, Jenis, dan Harga Kendaraan yang dipesan, cara pembayaran (Tunai atau Kredit). SPK ini rangkap 4. Rangkap 1 diberikan kepada pelanggan, rangkap 2 diserahkan ke Accounting Department, rangkap 3 untuk Salesman atau Counter Sales, dan rangkap 4 diserahkan ke bagian Kas. Faktur Kendaraan Dibuat oleh Sales Admin sebagai dokumen adanya penjualan yang telah dilakukan. Dokumen ini berisi jenis pembayaran (tunai atau kredit), Leasing yang digunakan, nomor mesin kendaraan, jenis dan warna kendaraan, harga kendaraan, potongan penjualan, biaya lain-lain serta Pajak Pertambahan Nilai. Tanpa adanya SPK maka pemesenan kendaraan tidak akan diproses pada PT. Arista Auto Prima Honda Arista Banda Aceh

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio keuangan yang diukur dengan menggunakan Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Investment, dan Earning per Share terhadap Harga Saham melalui laporan keuangan perusahaan perkebunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode tahun 2011-2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada perusahaan perkebunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode tahun 2011-2015 dan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan maka diperoleh sampel sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda yang bertujuan untuk memprediksi besar pengaruh Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Investment, dan Earning per Share terhadap Harga Saham dengan bantuan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). Hasil uji asumsi klasik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pelanggaran terhadap asumsi-asumsi klasik yang digunakan. Hasil uji kelayakan model dengan menggunakan uji F dan koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa model layak digunakan untuk penelitian. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan Uji t menunjukkan bahwa Current Ratio, Return On Investment, dan Earning per Share berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham sedangkan Debt to Equity Ratio berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham dan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan koefisien determinasi (r2) menunjukkan bahwa variabel Return On Investment merupakan variabel yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap harga saham. The purpose of this study was to know: (1) to know whether a significant influence between of the educational level and performance, (2) to know whether a significant influence between the working period with performance , (3) to know whether a significant influence between the educational level and the working period jointly on performance of employees part workshop mechanical machine in PT. Dok & Perkapalan Kodja Bahari (Persero) Galangan 1, North Jakarta. Method in this research using survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this research were all employees of PT. PT. Dok & Perkapalan Kodja Bahari (Persero) Galangan 1, North Jakarta and population of affordable are employees of part workshop mechanical machine totaling 72 employees, the samples taken were 58 respondents using simple random technique. Analysis technical is used in this research is the multiple regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that: (1) a significant influence between educational level and the performance of 1,865 > 1,671 t is rejected, (2) a significant influence between the working period with the performance of 3.331> 1.671 t table so H is rejected, (3) a significant influence between the educational level and the working period jointly on performance of employees part workshop mechanical machine in PT. Dok & Perkapalan Kodja Bahari (Persero) Galangan 1, North Jakarta of F o hitung 8.320 > 3.17 F means that H is rejected. The RĀ² is equal to 0.232, which means that the employees performance is influenced by the educational level variables and working period of 23.2% and the remaining 76.8% is influenced by other variables not researched

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah adopsi International Financial Reporting Standard berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba pada Perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2012-2014. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sejak tahun 2012 sampai dengan tahun 2014 secara berturut-turut. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Terdapat 156 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada Perusahaan manufaktur terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adopsi International Financial Reporting Standard tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba. Hasil penelitian ini menduga bahwa adopsi International Financial Reporting Standard yang diterapkan pada Perusahaan di Indonesia masih dalam tahap persiapan sehingga masih belum efektif. Kata kunci: manajemen laba, adopsi International Financial Reporing Standard This study aimed to analyze whether the International Financial Reporting Standards adoption affect the earnings management of companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012-2014. The population used in this research are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2012 to 2014 respectively. The samples are selected based on purposive sampling method. There are 156 data that represent the criterias as the research samples. The analysis method used a quantitative approach using simple regression. The results of this research shows that International Financial Reporting Standard adoption has no effect on the earnings management. The results of this research indicate that International Financial Reporting Standards adoption as applied to companies in Indonesia are still in the preparation phase so it is still not effective

    DESIGNING ā€œLISTEN TO ME GAMEā€ AS LISTENING MATERIAL TO SUPPORT THE LEARNING OF DESCRIBING PEOPLE SUBJECT

    Abstract: The focus of this research is to design Android application game as a tool to support the students in listening comprehension. This research was conducted on the class A seventh grade students of MTsN 1 Pontianak. The method of this research is development research which consist of five phases; analysis, design, develop, implement and evaluation or called ADDIE. This material was designed as supplementary material to support listening comprehension in describing people. In this research found that listen to me game can support listening comprehension in describing people for seventh grade students of MTs N 1 Pontianak. This research uses design phase to determine the learner role, teacher role, instructional media role and prepare some material such as picture, audio, and game maker studio program to create the application. In the development phase, the researcher creates the application from the material that already gathered from design phase. To try out and see the usability of the product the researcher uses implementation phase. The result of evaluation phase is 4.64, it showed that the game is feasible to be used by students as supplementary material to support listening comprehension in describing people. Key words: Development Research, Listening Material, Designing Material Abstrak: Penelitian ini fokus untuk mendesign aplikasi game di Android sebagai materi listening untuk membantu siswa pada materi pembelajaran describing people. Penelitian ini diadakan di kelas 7A MTs N 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini adalah development research yang terdiri dari 5 fase yaitu: Analisis, desain, pengembangan, implement dan evaluasi atau disebut ADDIE. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa listen to me game dapat digunaka untuk materi describing people untuk siswa kelas 7 MTs N 1 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan tahap design untuk menentukan peran siswa, peran guru dan peran media pembelajaran dan menyiapkan beberapa bahan ajar seperti gambar, audio dan aplikasi game maker studio untuk membuat game di Android. Pada tahap development, peneliti membuat aplikasi dari bahan yang sudah dikumpulkan dari tahap design. Untuk mencoba dan melihat kegunaa produk peneiti menggunakan tahap implementasi. Hasil dari tahap evaluasi adalah 4,6; yang menunjukan bahwa aplikasi game yang dibuat layak digunakan oleh siswa sebagai materi tambahan untuk listening dalam topik describing people.     KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA SMA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATRIKS

    Mathematical problem solving ability is an ability that every student must have, students must be able to find solutions to solve problems and choose strategies to solve problems. Indicators of mathematical problem solving include being able to understand the problem, being able to transform the information obtained on the problem, being able to perform problem solving skills or strategies, and being able to conclude the answers or results obtained. The purpose of this research is to measure the level of students' mathematical problem solving ability in solving matrix problems. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS in one of the senior high schools in Karawang Regency. From the total class there were 12 students who were the subjects of the study. Collecting data using three questions about the description of the matrix material and observations, each question refers to an indicator. The results of this study indicate that students in solving matrix problems still have difficulties in achieving indicators of problem solving abilities including indicators of understanding, skills and inferences. Based on the results of research that has been done there are still students who are not able to solve the problems given, students' mathematical problem solving abilities are still in the low category, it is hoped that students will continue to learn so that they are able to solve mathematical problems

Nowadays, customers are also smarter and more selective in choosing cars so that car companies/producers compete for customers by offering various types of brands, prices, types of vehicles, with..quality.product.good. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of brand image and price perception on purchasing decisions for Toyota Avanza at Auto 2000 Branch A. Yani Surabaya. The sample used in this study were Toyota Avanza users who transacted at Auto 2000 Branch A. Yani Surabaya with 60 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling, that is, the sample is selected based on predetermined criteria. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the research that has been done, it shows that Brand Image has a positive influence on Purchase Decisions and Price Perception has a positive influence on Purchase Decisions for Toyota Avanza at Auto 2000 branch A. Yani Surabaya
